I think for the monthly subscription this is great! It does not catch everything even if you have it set to do so. There have been times where people have been in front of the camera and it did not report an occurrence, fully charged. However, it wasn't often enough to make me mad about it. The view is excellent, anytime camera is cool, night vision works great...its a really great doorbell. I applied using the sticky strips up against my door frame and its very secure because you also have to screw it into the frame from the bottom to stay affixed.

Purchased this doorbell camera for an apartment that is on the second floor and the door is on the first floor at the bottom of a staircase. The house, where this apartment is, is very old, so having this wireless doorbell connect to Wi-Fi has really helped. The picture is clear and the doorbell speaker is loud and sounds like a doorbell. I also like that I can view video from the doorbell phone when it is ringing or motion is detected or anytime that I want to look at it. I recommend this doorbell camera.

The product was very good when I originally completed my purchase of it, but now it’s straight garbage. I loved how affordable this was and how easy it was to set this up. Started having issues with it staying connected about 7 or 8 months after I originally set it up. Support has sent me a new doorbell after my attempts to reset everything multiple times failed. I followed every single step that was asked of me to try to get this new doorbell to connect because my internet service is not the problem, but I’m still not getting the resolution I needed to have last week. I’m going out of state in the morning and want to be able to keep my home safe, but I can’t do that because Wyze Support is the sorriest excuse of a technical team to have ever had the displeasure of working with to get this taken care of. Being told to do the exact same thing again only to get the same results. I am very tempted to cancel my Plus subscription and send back or resell every single camera I’ve ever purchased from Wyze because both the product and the customer support are just very lame.

Wyze door bell is a must. I tried different brand and was disappointed. This Wyze is 100% worth buying.

The Wyze Video Doorbell Pro offers a simplified setup and also a great video quality at 1440p video resolution. This consists of the doorbell itself, the chime pro, mounting hardware and accessories, along with the USB charging cable. This doorbell is great for my needs as it allows me to have the option of hardwiring it into my current doorbell, or giving me the option to simply stick it up with the provided 3M tape. I opted to do the easiest option for my home needs, which was wireless and stick it up. This simply means that I will need to take it off in appx. 6 months for a recharge and then place it back into it's designated spot. The doorbell is an IP65 doorbell to withstand the elements, but I have a slight entryway that is covered so I don't think I'll ever have any issues with it. The camera offers a nice head to to range of viewing capabilities to allow me to see a package that is on my front porch. I can easily communicate with someone at my door with the 2 way audio and help to capture any activity on my front porch by defining my motion zone. The Wyze app is very easy to navigate and use in order to setup and install my doorbell camera. Wyze makes this process very user friendly. I also like the clean aesthetics of this doorbell as it is easy to identify on my front step and lets anyone approaching know that they are being watched/monitored. Overall a nice and clear picture for camera quality. I really thought this was an easy setup and install, and I like that I have the option to be hardwired or wireless. The Wyze - Wireless Video Doorbell Camera Pro is the easiest to install doorbell camera that I have encountered - and I have installed doorbell cameras from all of the well known manufacturers. One reason for such an easy installation is your choice of connecting it wired, using existing doorbell wiring, or you can connect it wireless, powered by an internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery. I chose to install it where no present doorbell exists, at the Garage Door. Simply fasten the doorbell to the side of the garage door, using 3M mounting tape. No wires required. Make a simple connection using the Wyze app and you are broadcasting live video. You are also connected to the hub, which is a speaker that you can plug into any receptacle, preferably up to 30 feet away. Recharge the battery in several months, as needed. This is the only video doorbell I have tested that can connect to your 5Ghz Wi-Fi Network for maximum network performance; the other video doorbells only connect to the interference-prone 2.4Ghz Network. It produces a clear 1440p HD video. I attached 2 photos showing actual image of my garage door, down the drive, across the street & the neighbors' houses. The clarity is fantastic! CONCLUSION: The Wyze Wireless Video Doorbell Camera Pro is a stylish video doorbell that produces clear video & is priced at the low end of the competition. The included hub chimes (as the doorbell itself) but is not particularly loud. Programmable chimes including barking dogs are not options with this doorbell. A paid subscription that unlocks person & package identification is optional. This doorbell offers a very good value for the money.

I'm loving this doorbell cam, it's amazing that they include so many options in such a small package! I had an older other brand doorbell, which was only wired and everything was optional, I had to buy so many things separately, not with this one! So many things are included, let me explain! First, the camera can work either wirelessly (by charging the battery via a micro USB cable, which I wish was type C), or if you have a pre-existing doorbell with cabling, you can also connect the doorbell to it and have it on wall power constantly (this has the added benefit that the cam can record a few more seconds before any event to give you more context of what happened). Second, they give you the option to either mount the cam using a double sided tape, as in not permanent, and you just unclip it to charge it. Or you can permanently mount it using screws (I chose this way, since I had pre existing wires, and it's more secure of course). Third, they include a corner kit which makes the cam face on an horizontal angle (in case your door or cam doesn't face directly your walkway in example, you can make the cam face on an angle) and not that it matters much anyways, since the cam can record with a wide angle of 150 degrees both vertical and horizontal, so recordings look more like wide angle kind of like fish eye, but very clear. You can also purchase an optional vertical wedge kit if you want to angle it vertically. They also include a chime that plugs to any power outlet and the great thing is that it acts as a wifi range extender too if your wifi signal is not that strong to reach your doorbell! I love that the cam is dual band, can use either 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz, my previous old other brand one was only 2.4 ghz and god, was so slow. Its very easy to install and I did it myself. You download their app and it will guide you through the process. You can use the cam free, however they also offer a subscription service which is very cheap ($1.99 a month, first month free if you want to try it) which gives you more advanced features like ai features like person detection, vehicle detection, package detection, pet detection and even record full event videos), for such a low price I highly recommend it. I also love how you get notifications on your phone super fast and you can communicate with the person having a two way conversation super easy. I highly recommend this cam, specially these days that we order so many things online for deliver and the increase amount of "porch pirates", this brings extra security to your home!

The new Wyze Video Doorbell Pro offers a clear 1440p HD video, along with a stylish look and an intuitive app for use. However, the included chime is not as loud as a chime could be, and the app has some bugs that need to be fixed in future updates. Pros: - Easy installation - Video and Sound - App Features Cons: - Chime - App bugs Installation for the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro was easy, though the included directions were not helpful. However, if someone is mechanically inclined, this should be relatively simple to install. The box includes a wedge kit, anchors, screws, wired kit (wires and wingnuts), and a 3M adhesive strip for someone who wants to hang it without drilling (I would not recommend it). I did not use the included anchors because I installed the doorbell backing against the solid wood doorframe. The doorbell has some weight, and I would not recommend using the 3M adhesive strip due to the elements. Once the frame is installed, slide the doorbell on and use the included hex screwdriver to hold the doorbell in place. Additionally, the installation has a step-by-step installation guide once you plug the doorbell in for the first time and the chime. The app, chime and doorbell talk you through the "connection process," which was a unique feature that solidified the installation. Video and sound were clear during playback. While viewing live video feed, I was able to listen and test the doorbell's sound and talk back function; I determined that the sound and video were clear and concise. The app is intuitive to use, and navigating around to set up notifications, edit your event records, and advanced settings did not feel clunky and intrusive. One suggestion I have for anyone installing is to make sure you enable the "battery percentage" and "timestamp watermark" for the camera; these functions/features are not set up by default. Overall, the recording and events works. I noticed that sometimes the events recorded are wrong (i.e., when a person is on the porch, it might label the person as a "vehicle.") Depending on how many events you set up and what you set up, you may notice a battery drain. You can increase battery life by setting up specific events to record. The included chime, however, is not loud. Compared to an older wireless (non-video doorbell), this chime did not perform at the loudest setting in the app. Also, I would like to see more than twenty chimes in the app in the future (though this was not a complete deal-breaker for me). I will add that my home is approximately 1,300 square feet, you could not hear the chime unless you were in the living room area where the chime is plugged in. Again, a better and louder speaker in the future would be better. Although the app works and is functional, I noticed some events did not record until I set up a detection area. Also, when I disabled certain events (i.e., package detection) the app did not detect any event, even when someone walked up to the porch to deliver mail. I had to re enable all of the recording events for the app to deliver notifications again. Overall, the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro is a solid starter doorbell, with an intuitive app to use and clear HD video plus sound. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a video doorbell.

I took down my ring pro for this. My ring pro had constant connection drops. Not this one. This one can connect to my 5ghz band on my wifi. I installed it the same holes the ring pro used. Setup was a breeze. Followed the step by step wyze ios app. My old chime had 2 wires so I jumped the wires per instructions. The old doorbell wires plenty long so I didn’t use the nut and wire extension. The included chime is loud and has audible warnings. The chime in the doorbell itself is loud. The doorbell is on the larger side as it includes a battery if you want to install it wirelessly. I installed wired so I can’t speak on battery life. The micro usb is a little outdated but can easily connect to say a solar panel. The exterior shell is white with no snap-on color changing shells (like ring includes). Maybe future or 3rd parties can sell sticker shells to put over exterior to change colors. I had no problem pressing the doorbell and activating. When I let my son test it out, he pressed button and no response. Seems like either there is a sweet spot on button or my install was slightly loose as I reused the ring pro mounting holes with the screw retainer already in the wall. When I told him to press button dead center it worked. The video is clear and the live view connects right away. Looking at picture vertically you get somewhat of a fish eye view. Turn phone landscape and the view looks super wide. The lens bubbles out past the edge of the camera so if you are thinking about applying a lens protector you won’t be able too. I don’t have zone set so can’t speak about zone detection. The camera does a good job with motion detection. You do get videos saved to the cloud and they show up with time and date stamp in your live view area. I really like how the recordings are right there. Wyze do not change that! Speaking of cloud recordings. There is no local recording via micro sd card. Wyze we want that option. My wyze v3 cams have that and really like that option. I usually have light on by door and picture at night is clear. I tried video with the light off and everything still visible. Wyze did a great job with build quality and included hardware. The only other tool you will need is a philips screw driver as this wasn’t included (and a drill to install the screw holders if not securing onto wood). Last not the ring volume is set at 75% and is really loud. I set mine to 25% and it is still louder than the one originally installed in the house. During installation wyze app will try and set you up for the trial of their cloud subscription. Only way to decline is close the app in ios. My doorbell setup is about 50 feet from router. Included chime is about 20 feet from doorbell and 30 feet from router.

Super easy to unstall especially non wired the chine box is pretty loud abd you can adjust the volume and chime sound via the app. Battery life is great honestly. Nice and clear video day and night time. Captures motion very well. Would definitely recommend.

Only reason it has 4 stars and not 5 is that I am spoiled with Wyze and their local storage option on cameras. This only has the 12 second cloud or you have to pay to have the longer recordings. Other than that, its perfect. Picture quality, battery life, notifications, doorbell chime are all great.

Easy to hook up and camera is good. The app is easy to download and set up on your phone. I am handicapped, and I can see who's at the door, and it has a microphone where I can talk to them if I want to.

Wow. So I've purchased maybe 5 parts of the Wyze system for my home, yard, and garage. While there are a few minor software hiccups here and there, overall, for the value, I am very impressed with this unit. Ease of setup, ease of use, quality of picture, cost (or not) of subscription (not necessary) and how it lets me know when someone comes up my sidewalk, or package is delivered. I feel very secure with these units, and impressed with how well they work.

I’ve been a fan of Wyze for years. I recently decided to upgrade from the original Wyze Doorbell to the Pro. The original worked great but I’m glad I made the switch. The Pro version has a much better picture and a wider viewing angle. Also the detection settings have improved allowing for more accurate saved videos. Installation was simple and I appreciate the ability to connect directly to the previous wiring. This model comes with an internal battery but with the direct connection I don’t have to disconnect to charge.

The camera works amazingly. It has great quality and detects every movement outside your door. I definitely would recommend this brand if you’re looking for a good doorbell camera

Wyze does a great job on most of their products and this is no exception. Great picture, WIDE angle, responsive, loud bell, and stays online.

Video feed is clear, but it rounded the look, which is weird. The alert is delayed, which is annoying. Installation is easy and simple enough. The bell ring is kind of soft and does not allow you to turn up or adjust the volume.
