Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The SD card isnt working , the camera connected to it then wouldn’t recognize it after a few days of not using it, and would only record thumbnails instead of video. Also its night vision camera turns on a bright Led light to record video and theres no way to turn off the white Led light during the night, that defeats the whole purpose of recording distintctively. After a few days it wouldnt connect to bluetooth nor wifi and would show offline. also i got a notification email saying someone in another state hacked into my account from a didfferent Ip adress and was watching me through the camera when i connected it to wifi. Thats not safe, why would i use this cheap camera to be spied on by a stranger? Avoid !! it’s having connection issues and won’t connect to wifi or bluetooth. I bought a Pny Sd card and it didnt work with the camera, its most likely this camera only uses Wyze Sd cards. besides having to pay it with a monthly subscription to record video its not useful cause the camera is buggy and runs on wifi just to be able to record. Also i couldnt find a proper way to mount it in my car , i needed it to directly face out the passenger door window but after taping it ,it kept coming off the tape. My whole purpose was to use it to record video offline out my car window, but instead got something that wont stay on unless you use it for your house. cause if i use it for my car it ends up needing to be reconnected to wifi all the time from my phones wifi then doesnt want to connect. My phone doesnt have very good wifi. I dont care about the live stream option, i just need something to record video for 2hours. Better off using a smartphone i guess. A thumbnail photo isnt going to do much, someone vandalized my car so i need a camera to record video of the person near my car. At this point why doesnt Wyze just bundle the Sd cards with the camera .Not everyone wants to pay for their monthly service but all cameras on the market seem to be primarily for subscriptions.

SD Card Issues: Ensure firmware and app are updated, the card is properly inserted, “Record to MicroSD → Continuous” is enabled, or try formatting the card in the app.
Night Vision LED: The motion-activated spotlight can’t be turned off, but we appreciate your feedback.

Security: Change your password, enable 2FA, and contact support if needed.

You don’t need a subscription. As long as you have an SD card you can record unlimited recordings and it also delete over a period of time.
