The Wyze - Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Smart Garage Opener makes your standard garage door opener smart at an affordable price. If you're like me, you leave the house and then think, "did I close the garage door?" This device puts those fears to rest. First, it comes with a camera that allows the user to check their phone to see if the garage door is up or down. Second, it allows the user to open or close the garage door from anywhere. I have friends who replaced their garage door openers for hundreds of dollars just to have this capability. Wyze makes your garage door smart with a 1080p HD camera that also comes in handy for surveillance. Installation is straightforward with clear instructions. Make sure you check the compatibility of your garage door opener before installing. Then follow the instructions to complete the install. Both the camera and the power adapter are powered by one plug allowing the user to plug into the the same wall outlet that powers the garage door opener. Once installation is complete, set up the camera using the audible instructions, place the included QR code on your garage door and aim the camera at the QR code. Once the installation is complete, you can use Google Home or Alexa, control your garage door, program the app to notify you when your garage door opens or closes or to let you know if your garage door is open for a period of time. The product also provides an audible and visual warning that the garage door is opening or closing. I love this product because I can control access to my garage for deliveries, let guests in when I'm away and have peace of mind knowing that my garage is secure. Ultimately, this is a simple product that offers tremendous convenience with no downside. I have multiple Wyze cams in my home so I don't know how I didn't buy this product sooner.

This looks like a way cool device- & i was excited to take advantage of my member benefit bonus deal having Geek Squad come install for free, because even tho it sounds simple to install, it seems like technology & i oten arent on the same wavelength lately, so why not have the pros do it right. Im REALLY glad because the knowledgeable guys, even tho they said they hadnt installed this exact garage door opener modification, they knew exactly what to look for b4 even opening the box- a specific color wire or button- all colors OK except mine! I probably woulda spent endless hours, then asked a friend to help.. then someone else woulda spent time & energy- so even tho im bummed im returning it, im very happy my membership saved me potentially a lot of wasted time- & even tho i dont get a cool garage cam & app opener, the Geeks gave me some info that makes me feel secure that i never knew: my garage door wont accept any add-on openers or aftermarket devices because it is completely dedicated to my 1single opener, creating a unique pairing each time, so it cant be hacked. Even tho not installed i had good experience w squad, id trust them w other tech needs again. & id recommend this product BUT only to my fellows who are sporting yellows. Check it out yo.

The Wyze wireless 1080p HD smart garage door kit is a well thought and out easy to install. Wyze includes everything you need to complete the install except the ladder and screwdriver. Before you start check to make sure your garage door opener is compatable, following the instructions from Wyze. There is a convienent QR code link to the setup instuctions and a video on their site to help you complete your install without a hitch. You need to dowload the wyze app to your smartphone, it is avalible for Iphone and Android. You choose the Wyze garage door combo, connect to wifi, power up the cam and link it to the app by scanning a QR code displyed on you phone. The camera can then be mouted to any metal garage door opener with it's magnetic mount, if yours is not metal Wyze includes a metal washer and a double sided adhesive pad to stick it to the case where you want to mount the camera. The small wireless door controller can then be mounted with the other included double sided adhesive pad, anywhere near the door opener limited only by the length of the power supply cord. Wyze has designed the power supply to allow a single adapter to power both the camera and the controler with a pigtail adapter, they even include adhesive clips to keep everything tidy. The last thing you do is apply a QR code sticker to the inside of the garage door and clibrate the system so it can tell when the door is open and closed. The Wyze app walks you through the entire setup. The controler is Alexa and Google assitant compatable if you want to open the garage by voice. The whole kit is compatible with the existing remotes and buttons, they will continue to work as they did before. Total install time was about 20 min for me. The app is very good, it allows you to view the garage live, open and close the door. You can invite others in your family to the app. Wyze includes a trial of the plus app which allows unlimited recordings, back to back event detection, person detection. For the garage you can probably get by with the lite version which has a 5 min delay between events and a 12 second limit on recordings but still includes person detection. Wyze lets you choose how much you pay for the lite version even $0 ! Wyze has a perfect kit for your garage door, easy to install, with a great app. I highly reccomend it!

A Wyze Little Garage Door Opener

What’s better than Wyze v3 Cam? A Wyze v3 cam with a Wyze garage door opener! The Wyze garage door opener is a nifty little device that automates your garage door opener in the easiest way possible. I’ll detail it all in the review but will provide some overall impressions first in case you just want a quick summary of the device and what it does. Overall impressions: The Wyze garage door opener comes with a garage door sensor and a Wyze v3 camera, a giant QR code sticker, and some mounting equipment. The guided installation through the Wyze app is straightforward and simple, even for those not technically minded. Just find a place to mount the sensor, and the camera, stick the QR code sticker on your garage door and you’re done. Operating the garage door is done through the Wyze app and is also super intuitive. If you have other Wyze products then this product is a must-have! My only tip is to mount the QR sticker as high up on your garage door as you can to avoid having your vehicle block it when parked. Full Review: I have just recently reviewed the Wyze v3 camera itself in another review, so if you’d like to read that please search for that product and check out that in-depth review of the camera itself. To put it succinctly, the Wyze v3 camera that comes bundled in this package is technically the same as any other Wyze v3 camera, except for a different end connector to insulate against interference from your garage door. You’ll be pleased to know that the camera itself functions identically to the regular Wyze v3 camera. Now onto what makes this bundle special and that’s the garage door sensor. It’s a puck-like sensor that comes with a built-in siren and light to alert people that the garage door is closing and that connects to both the bundled camera and your garage door opener. After following the guided installation through the Wyze app on your phone, you’ll be able to open and close your garage and receive alerts when it’s left open. Installation is super simple. The hardest part of the installation is finding a good spot for the camera and the puck. I was able to get the camera to magnetically stick to the garage door opener chain mount and the puck fits nicely on the mounting bars of the garage door opener. You can see in my picture that I was able to tuck everything neatly away with some velcro ties that I had, but Wyze does include some hardware for that as well. After you’re done mounting the camera and sensor, you’ll need to mount the QR code sticker so the camera will detect the QR code on your garage door to signal whether it’s opened or closed. It’s essential to mount the QR code sticker in a way where it won’t be obstructed by anything. I, unfortunately, mounted mine a little low initially and was getting false alerts about the door being opened and closed until I peeled it off and mounted it higher. Peeling off the sticker is not easy and I had to use a heat gun to do so without ruining it. Save yourself the aggravation and mount it up high on your door right from the start. That’s it, you’re done and now you have access to open and close your garage door through the Wyze app, right alongside being able to see your garage through the bundled camera. The installation took about an hour for me and I needed no special tools, but you may need to mount the camera to some wood, so be prepared with at least a screwdriver. Unfortunately, as with a lot of the Wyze camera and automation products, some of the functionality for the camera itself lies behind the Wyze service paywall. However, this bundle functions great as a garage door opener without any additional monthly fees and should suit anyone looking to be able to remotely get notified about their garage door being open and wanting to remotely control its functions.

This is an amazing value. I was skeptical that a $50 wireless camera and door controller could perform well, but I’m a believer now. It’s amazingly compact and packaged in a small box with zero wasted space. Installation was quick and easy. You download the app, and it literally leads you step by step through the entire process. It took me 30 minutes to have it in place and functioning. The camera reads a QR code in the app, pairs your phone, and lets you connect the camera to your WIFI. The camera has an adjustable magnetic base, so just slap it on the bottom of your garage door operator. There’s a 3M double-faced adhesive pad to let you stick the small controller/light wherever is handy. I stuck it to the side of the operator. Once you’ve connected the two controller wires to your door unit, you’ve done the only remotely hard part. Plug in the USB power adapter, connect the controller and camera, tidy up the wires and you’re done. All that’s left is to stick the large QR code on your door and calibrate the camera by letting it read it. Recognizing the code when the door is down is how the system knows if the door is up or down. The image quality is very good, and its night vision is also excellent. The app will let you record video to the Wyse cloud, but there is a fee after the trial period. However, you have the choice of inserting your own SD card and recording locally. Since this app is used by Wyse for all its devices, it can do much more than just remotely open and close the door. There’s two-way voice, an alarm, still picture capture, and event monitoring and playback. You can also set up rules with multiple actions. Again, this is a value plus. A compact, well-made system device that does everything as stated in a quality way, and it’s only $50. Highly recommended.

Practical smart garage door controller with camera

I just received the Wyze - Indoor/Outdoor Wireless 1080p HD Smart Garage Door Opener and Security Camera and couldn’t wait to install it. We have a 15 year old garage door opener which I was considering replacing with a smart garage door opener, but I no longer need to do that. Instead, for under $50 and about 30min for the time it took to install, I got a much better solution that also includes a camera! Firstly, all the components were packed very efficiently and tightly in a very small box. The installation instructions are minimal, but good enough for most people who have done any basic wiring. You start with the Wyze App that requires you create an account, then you can add the Cam V3. I already had the Wyze App and an account since I use one their smart scales. The Camera setup was simple, just add your Wifi network, then the last part was a bit finicky where you have to point the camera at a QR code in the App on your phone. It took a while to recognize it, I had to slowly move the camera away from the phone screen until it finally completed the setup. Once you’re done with the camera setup, there are a bunch of questions in the App, including the selection of the cloud-based security plan you need to opt-in for. I picked the most basic one that kicks off a 2-week free trial, no credit card needed. I plan to use an SD-Card to store clips locally and not pay for a subscription, but there are other features and advantages of using the cloud for things like AI object/people recognition that is motion detection based. Now on to the Wyze Garage Door Controller that ties in to your garage door opener wall switch wiring. It gets power from the same adapter the Wyze Cam 3 is plugged in via a micro-USB cable splitter. Once you have it all wired and plugged in to power, use the Wyze App to add the controller as a new device. The last part of install is a bit different from anything I’ve installed before. You have to stick a huge QR code sticker to the inside of your garage door, then calibrate the position of the camera so the QR code is within a preset frame. You’ll probably have to go thru a couple of opening and closing garage door sequences and you’re done. When you close the garage door using the App, the controller will be beep and flash a bright light a few times as a safety warning before the garage door starts closing. I wish I knew that ahead of time, so I would have positioned the controller in a better location for the light flashes. All in all, I really like this setup, the image quality, ease of use and App motion detection and alerting features, all for a very affordable price.

Wyze Garage Door Controller with Cam V3 is the smart garage opener accessory that any smart home needs for peace of mind and security. Unlike other smart garage door openers this uses camera to detect the QR code without the need of extra sensors and the installation is simple with easy-to-follow instructions for any DIY homeowners. It works with most garage doors and there is a list to validate if your garage door is compatible during the installation process or on their website before purchasing. We had a smart garage door without a camera and wanted to add one for peace of mind. There are lot of cheap smart garage opener on the market that can open and close garage doors from anywhere but to have camera work tandem with garage controller are very few on the market and this fits the bill for affordability. It comes in a small box packed with all you need to install the camera & controller without needing any extra hardware. This kit includes Wyze Cam V3, smart controller, micro-USB cable splitter, power cord, power adapter (5v 2A), QR code sticker, hardware accessories to install the camera, adhesive mounting sticker, metal plate for camera, few cable clips and quick start guide. Setup is simple as always with Wyze but this requires a basic wiring know-how to connect the controller to garage opener and it varies on the model of your opener. Download the Wyze app from Appstore(iOS) or google play (android). Create a new account if you don’t have one and enable the two-level authentication for added security. Just click add devices and security cam and select the garage opener option and follow the instructions step by step for full installation. Once both the camera and controller are connected and installed, it will calibrate after the QR code is installed and this is required for the controller to know if garage is opened or closed as it does act as a sensor using the camera feed. There are some features like other smart garage door openers like notification when the garage opens and closes, scheduling, automation capabilities, rules to set when you are in home, away and at night. Camera uses AI for motion and sound detection, and it can be integrated into other Wyze products and smart devices. Camera shows a live view of the garage in a clear 1080p and in color even when dark at night (night vision). Camera also uses a microSD card for storing the footage if you don’t want to sign up for cloud monthly subscription. I just used a 128GB card and works flawlessly. Camera is responsive and has notification option for motion detection using AI for vehicle, person and can be easily setup on the app. Pros: Peace of mind security feature for garage, easily accessible from anywhere, notifications, viewing of garage with recording option on SD card, wide compatibility of existing garage door openers, easy to follow instructions for installation, Alexa and google compatible, home automation capabilities. Cons: Automations does not work always, poor integration with Alexa on the controller, No Siri integration or apple kit. Overall, this garage opener kit is an affordable solution for smart home and if you are in the market to add remote open/close and monitor your garage without changing the existing garage opener then this may be better option without breaking the bank.

I got this Wyze garage door controller because I've had a couple of embarrassing incidents in the past where I left the garage door open after driving away from the house. Thankfully, I never had anything stolen, but once my neighbor came over and manually lowered the door (thus leading to the embarrassment). No more! Now I have the ability to remotely monitor and control the garage door, as well as seeing if anyone shady is poking around if the door is open. Thankfully, I have not forgotten to close the door while using the Wyze garage door controller, but now I'm not worried about the next time it happens! Speaking of the camera, it's a normal Wyze Cam 3, which comes in a compact cube about 3.5 inches on a side, with an articulated foot that allows the camera to be tilted on its mounting point. The bottom of the foot is magnetic, allowing the camera to be mounted on anything metal, but it also has a hole for a mounting screw. Installation of the camera is very easy. The package comes with a metal ring sized to attach to the magnetic foot, and a double-sided sticky tape ring so you can mount the metal ring to any surface. The garage camera kit comes with a y-shaped cable that connects the camera to the wifi receiver/controller module and to the USB power supply that powers both devices. The receiver/controller connects with a 2-lead wire to your existing garage door opener at the same location as the current wall control box. Installation and provisioning of the components of the system took only about 10 minutes. The app experience is very smooth, and didn't fail or error out even though I unplugged the camera unit a couple of times during installation as I re-routed wires to their proper locations. Since installation, the camera has performed admirably. The picture is quite clear in darkness or light, and the garage door operation is flawless, even though the unit is quite far away from my home's router. The app allows users to set routines based on geolocation, time, and more, as well as detection zones to prevent the camera from triggering for the movement of things like fans that might be in the visual range. I have experienced the Wyze's person detection, through the app, which works maybe too well, because I get notifications whenever a shadow from a person falls on the door where the camera is pointed. This feature is part of the Wyze Cam Plus package, which comes as a free trial with the kit, but costs $1.99 per month if paid on an ongoing basis. You pay that charge on a per-camera basis. All-in-all, I give this product 5 stars, and it has made me want other Wyze products. I am not a huge fan of pay-after-you-buy plans, but this camera works well enough and is affordable enough that it isn't much of an issue. I'm looking forward to trying other Wyze products.

My family has been using another brand of garage door opener smart-controller for some time. It has been disconnecting from the wifi for years now, on and off. It’s always a darn hassle to re-connect. We have the best internet speeds (broadband) that our provider offers. We also have extenders in our house. When I saw this garage door controller with a camera, I couldn’t resist. I was hoping it wouldn’t disconnect like the current controller we had become accustomed to. So far so good, it’s been running like a champ. The set up could not have been easier. I think all I really needed was a ladder and that’s it. They walk you through the steps nicely. Comes with all the cable ties you’ll need to make a nice and tidy installation. The bottom of the camera was the best surprise, it’s a magnet so it connects and stays put right on the bottom of the garage door opener itself! It’s powered by a standard plug in cord to a 110 outlet. Plugged mine right into the same outlet as the opener, which was kind of a bummer because I had a cord reel in the other plug spot, but that’s my problem not yours. They give you screws and dowels and such in case your setup for some reason requires you to mount it elsewhere. If you want a different video angle than what you can get from mounting it on the opener, then I guess that would come in handy. I did not see the need to do that. Picture is super clear, and the motion sensor is very sensitive. The notification keeps going off during the night due to stupid bugs flying by the camera. I probably just need to go in and tweak the settings in the app. You can subscribe to the Wyze service (Cam Plus package) like everything else in this day and age, but the nice thing is that to store videos, you can put an SD card in if you so choose instead. Gives off a nice warning and flashes when you close it from the app, that way anyone in the vicinity of the door’s closing path, can get out of the way. There is a giant QR code sticker to place on the inside of the garage door. Just make sure it’s in the camera’s field of view. Camera has 1080P resolution, two-way audio, motion/sound detection, and night vision. It has a history record of door and motion events. I have about 200 bug fly-by events currently, lol. My advice and opinion, get this garage door smart controller and camera set up from Wyze, it’s worth it. My biggest suggestion, figure out the sensitivity at night, or you wont get any sleep due to the nightly bug invasion, but hey, at least your garage door will open and close when you want it to!

I’ve used several garage door monitors/controllers. This Wyse Garage Door controller is by far the most flexible. It’s garage door opener agnostic (meaning it can also be used with most existing garage door openers, not just the one that is made by your Garage door opener manufacturer). I’ve also had garage door open/close monitors (tilt sensors that transmit), that have limited functionality. This Wyse garage door controller combines the smarts of a smart doorbell with the intelligence of a smart camera. The part I find interesting, is the camera monitors a QR code you adhere to the inside of your garage door (away from any windows). If this QR code moves it knows the garage door has opened. It also detects motion/sound from within the garage and can alert you of either/both. It has a micro sdcard slot to record events/photos locally (supports up to 128gb cards (must be FAT or exFat formatted). It can also send information to Wyse’s cloud (did limited testing of this as I was more interested in this as a door open/close monitor than I was for motion detection. I ended up mounting my camera at the back end of my garage, and wired the controller function directly to my existing doorbell button, used to open/close my 2 garage openers (Chamberlin & Stanley). I could have mounted it on my ceiling but I wanted to have a wider view of my garage. This made placement of the QR code a little more tricky, but it still worked fine. The door controller opens and closes a dry contact that has the same effect as pushing a doorbell (closing the circuit). It also flashes a white light and emits a noise when the button has been triggered remotely (from the Wyse app). I was very pleased to see how many features the app has, to adjust motion/sound sensitivity, and to mask off camera areas for motion detection. Before I did this, every car that drove by caused reflected light to bounce in my garage windows causing false motion. By excluding the windows from the motion area the problem was solved. I initially had the sound monitoring sensitivity way up, passing school buses and big trucks triggered the sound detection, turning this down to 40% eliminated these false alerts. So in under an hour I was able to de-tune the camera/sound monitor so that it worked exactly as I wanted it to. I was delivered notifications within a second or two, certainly faster than the garage door opens (~`15s). The quality of the HD images captured are pretty good (a little over exposed looking into bright sunlight), but the auto aperture adjustment does a good job of capturing a quality image (2 sent to me attached). The quality of the night vision is not as good, more of a grainy BW, but the camera has 4 IR leds (more red than true IR), which improves the near illumination (12’-15’). No worse than any of the smart doorbells I’ve used. There are many additional features that really improve this device, there are multiple rules and interfaces to other devices/systems with the ability to relay T3 & T4 (smoke and CO2 alarms). You can share alerts with multiple users. I should mention it can only be used with a 2.4Ghz WiFi network (not 5Ghz). I encountered few problems getting it set up, and its working just fine. Now I can use my smart phone to tell me if my garage door is currently opened or closed. And I can now open or close the door from anywhere (if my home WiFi is working); and the camera capturing who goes in/out is big bonus. This Wyse garage door controller/camera combination is a great value that works exceptionally well.

This has to be the best way to make your standard garage door opener a smart garage door opener and without all the fees. I liked it so much I got another one for the side garage and have been recommending it to all friends and family. It works great with my Google home automations and never had any issues with connectivity. Grab a MicroSD card if you're not planning on subscribing to the video service. The video feeds are crystal clear. The night vision is really good. Playback is also very responsive.

This Camera and garage door controller combo is great for the price! what can you buy with $50 these days? everything you need for the install is included in the box. you will get the camera, controller, wall USB plug, USB splitter to connect to the charger, camera and controller, 3m STicker to fix the camera somewhere, metal plate to fix the controller if you want to, a sticker for the camera to recognize if the garage door is open or closed, and an instruction manual. installation took about 15 minutes, calibration took 5 minutes. I chose to fix the camera on top of my garage door opener and it was magnetic so I didnt need to use the plate or the 3m sticker. connecting to electricity was easy and figuring out which wires of the garage opener to connect the controller to took about 3 minutes. just follow the wires to the wall button and you can figure it out. after that it took me a couple tries to calibrate it after installing the app. the camera quality is decent and the response speed is good for the price. I have a camera monitoring the outside of the garage so this is just an extra layer of security. i had a hiccup where I have a wifi enabled door opener and it took me a while to figure out a way to make both work (the wyze app and the wifi enabled door opener) but I was able to figure it out eventually. the sticker on the inside of the garage door doesn't bother me, yes they could have avoided it but the thing would have cost more then. I am completely satisfied with this product. good features and GREAT price!

So cool, no need to upgrade my garage door opener. I know have a ‘Smart’ Garage door for soo much less. The application makes for a simple setup. Connect the receiver wires to the same connection as your wired opener is connected too, Secure both the camera and receiver sensor to the ceiling (as far from the opener as the cord allows (more on this later). I used the simple two-way tape connection on the sensor and screwed the camera to the drywall. Now plug the camera into an outlet, press the setup button on the camera and then hold up your phone with a QR code for the camera to read and your up and running. The camera will tell you when it is connected. You then have to fasten a large QR code sticker to you garage door. Yeah, kind of ugly, but you only see it from the inside with the garage door down. The camera needs to read this QR code to let the software now if the door is open or closed. The picture quality is great (Day and Night). I can now view the inside of my garage remotely and open and close my garage from anywhere using my phone. The Wyze software is feature packed and intuitive. This camera is the V3 camera like the other two cameras I have, so it has all the same functions but adds a Controller button in the app to open and close the door. Here is a list found under the Setting tab: Detection Setting: Here you can select the sensitivity of both motion and sound that is detected. Under motion you also have a Detection Zone, This allows you can grey out the area’s you don’t want the camera to trigger. Great feature to eliminate the passing cars etc. Event Recordings: Here you can turn ‘Detection Motion’ and/or’ Detection Sound’ on or off for EVENTS. If subscribed to one of the plus or pro services you can also then tell it to detect a person, vehicle, package or pet. Notifications: Here you can turn all Notifications On/Off. When turned on you can tell it to detect motions and or sound. Alarm Setting: Here you can turn on a smoke alarm or CO alarm. If they camera hears one of those alarms it'll generate a 12 second alert video and send you a push notification. This is great for that second home/Cabin. Advanced Settings: Here you can change the following settings: Night vision conditions, night vision IR lights, camera status light, rotate image 180 degrees, show timestamp, show Waze logo, record sound and sync time. I also really like the ability to click on the Bell icon to turn off notification from the home page. You can also create custom icons and place on the home page as well, like ‘I’m Home’ or ‘I’m away’ etc. Once you tap the camara you want to see, you can begin playback. Here you can scroll through the timeline to replay video (Micro SD required if you don’t subscribe to Cam Plus). I have paired the camera with a 32MB micro-SD card I had laying around, so no I can get 24 hr. recording (for as long as your card will store), or select Events only, all without a subscription. For the cost, I did subscribe to Cam Plus though. (I encourage you to visit the Wyze website for a comparison of plans offered. Subscriptions are reasonably priced. One feature I would like to see is the ability to play back recorded video at 2X or 4X etc. Another cool feature I found was the ability to view my camera feed online from a web browser, you must be a Cam Plus subscriber. Wi-Fi Connection has been flawless so far. Viewing live stream is fast as well, about 3 to 4 seconds from the time you request the view on your phone. Only Con is that I notice my regular remote has a shorter range when opening my door. I used to be able to open my door from down the road, now I need to be in my driveway. The directions state this could happen if you put the sensor to close to the garage antenna. But I did put it as far as away as the cable would allow. Not a big deal to me, just something the wife and I noticed. . Honestly there are too many ’Camera’ features to list here, but rest assured it is feature packed. Bottom line, this Wyze Garage Door Controller is a fantastic idea and works great. I have already recommended to friends!

The Wyze Smart Garage Door Opener is a great little product to add some security and safety to your garage. Everything came neatly packed in a small box and had everything required to make your existing garage door opener "smart". You will need to make a Wyze account if you do not have one already and anyone you plan to share the opener with will also be required to make a Wyze account. During setup after I connected all the wires and setup the camera the garage door would not open, I simply had to restart the power to the camera and controller and then it started working. The garage opener now flashes a light and makes a chime noise when it is opening and closing to alert everyone that it is on the move which is a great safety feature. The addition of the camera gives you a constant view of your garage day or night (due to the night vision built into the camera). One thing I would have liked more clarification on was where I would get addition QR code stickers in case I need one when I replace my garage door. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Wyze Garage Door Opener and would recommend it to anyone that is in the market for a smart garage device.

Installed easily and functions within the app well. Mine is paired in my Google home set up. Definitely some glitches but after some trial and error got it working. Only real complaint is you cannot access the camera in the Google app, only on the Wyze. However you can open and close it with "HEY GOOGLE close garage door". For the price you will be satisfied.

Great security device! I LOVE that I can open/close my garage door remotely now from my phone. - Also the automated message on my phone if garage door is opened, if someone in my garage, or if I leave the garage door open accidentally! Relatively easy to install and set up if you are somewhat handy.
