I want to love this product, but there are a couple of areas that hold it back from being a great garage door opener. The Wyze comes with a HD camera, garage door controller, required wires, various adhesive mounting stickers, a warning placard and QR code sticker. The good: The camera quality is excellent when viewed through my iPhone and iPad. It captures a clean wide angle of my garage. The challenges: For the Garage controller to work, the camera has to see the QR sticker which is adhered to the garage door. When I first set the camera up, I placed it on the bottom of the garage door opener using the magnet. From there everything worked fine with the Wyze units, however the remote door openers in my cars didn't work. After watching an installation video, it says that you should mount the camera near the garage door opener because it may interfere with the antenna for the opener and it's remote. I moved the camera higher on the garage door opener mounting bracket and then it just showed the door when it was open and not the garage at all. I moved it further back on the garage ceiling for better coverage of the garage. This improved the view of the garage but then the QE code sticker wasn't big enough for the camera to pick up and i kept getting a message to calibrate the camera. To trouble shoot, I moved the QR code sticker to the back of the garage door motor and it seemed to work better, but it was still intermittent when opening the door and I would occasionally get the message to calibrate the camera. The approach to this opener is good, but the limitation with the QR sticker are frustrating. I would recommend this to someone who has lower ceiling heights, as mine are 12' high.

Power pack in a small box. I got stunned when I see the box of it, such a small package and kept everything in it. I had a doubt that will this work or not. But believe me packaging is very nice, planned it so well, they used complete space. After seeing multiple wires and things I got confused can I really do this or not. But one thing is sure, with setup manual booklet instructions you can not do installation, everything is app driven. You need to install the app and follow the steps as per app directions, it is good and nice. When you are checking Wi-Fi strength make sure you check at the spot where you want to keep the device basically just on the garage controller box. Once setup is done, it works smooth. App is really good, I liked it. No issues. They give QR code sticker do not throw that way that is important for this. Camera clarity is good, you can store recordings if you want. You can opt their services by paying money or you can monitor and use on your own, they have both facilities which is good. App good, quality is good works fine. All positive points. One thing I did not like is wires and setup and connections, I do not want to see wires hangings and looks old of course it is on top you can do some adjustment, somehow I feel little uncomfortable with the setup process and wires. Overall definitely it is a decent product.

Great addition to my home automation. I have lights, switches, plugs, TV, speakers, alarms, door locks connected together. All from different manufactures. I love the fact they all can work together. The Wyze cam/garage opener is a perfect fit to my home. Setup was very simple. Some of the other devices that I needed to connect were as easy. Instruction were clear and they had video to show you. I like the different small accessory that was provided. (clips, ties, screws, two sided tape). Connecting it to Google Home system was easy as well. My garage door opener didn’t have the “learn” function that works with the Wyze. I found the wires that connected to my garage door opener attached to the wall. I followed the instruction and took needle nose pilers and touch the two wires together. This “shorts” the garage door opener and opens/closes the door. Then connecting the Wyze to my garage door and works. Very simple Images on the camera are clear. The wide screen view is important in the garage. However, the top of my garage doors has windows. So there is glare are certain times of the day which isn’t too bad. Overall I recommend the Wyze to friends and family.

Historically we have relied on a couple of garage door openers that we keep in our car and also a keypad that is nailed to the wall outside where you have to input a code. Lately we have been having issues with the keypad code not being recognized by the garage door opener and we were getting pretty frustrated not having the ability to open and close the garage door consistently. Thankfully we purchased the Wyze Indoor/Outdoor Wireless 1080p HD Smart Garage door opener and our troubles are gone. It was very easy to set up with easy to follow installation instructions. I thought it would be complicated setting up to the existing garage door opener but it only took me around 10 minutes. The iphone app works well and very easy to use. The HD camera comes in very clear and it is nice to be able to see when our garage door opens and who is opening it. We often use it when we are out of town and want someone to come to our house to clean or let the dogs out. I would highly recommend to our friends!

Easy to set up with great coverage. App is simple and effective.

Well, I thought this was going to be pretty cool and be my new favorite smart product for the time being, but it's a pain to get set up right. You have to tap into your garage door opener wiring, it has to be at the right level, and fairly centered. Not only that, you have to put a big obtrusive sticker on the inside of the garage door that is a big square barcode that the camera has to have in it's sight to determine the status of the garage door. The sticker is an eyesore, and if your like me, you have shelves and cabinets, that make it not such a fun task to set up like most smart products these days. Granted once set up it does work as advertised, but what they left out on the packaging in my opinion ruins the experience and I ultimately decided I did not want to leave it installed and won't be using it going forward. A smart garage door opener and a security or smart camera will be the path I will go if I decide I want to monitor the garage door status in the future. Sadly I wouldn't recommend which is dissapointing because I was really excited to get this product.

Awesome technology. Highly recommended for those who have ever left a garage door open.

The first week I had it, it went out three times over a eight hour period and i was alway at wrk.. That's when I need it the most The worst camera I ever purchased I will not recommend this camera to anyone and they did not give me the 15-day free trial I had to pay for it but if I didn't want to keep it I could cancel it before my trial period end
