I've had this light for a couple of months and it is very good. The motion detection is good, it's easy to adjust. The light is very bright and easy to adjust the angle. The camera is also very nice. It's clear and the color night vision makes it look like daytime. The setup was easy and only took a few minutes. Mounting the fixture was about the same as installing a regular motion light. It looks nice and blends in well, the camera does not stand out much at all in the overall appearance of the fixture. The camera is easy to adjust and set up. The system sends notifications quickly and the pictures of what triggered the motion are always clearly picked by the AI. It is annoying that Wyze wants money every month to get a short video clip of what triggered the motion. No other company that I know of charges for that. It's not the end of the world but you should know before you buy that that's extra. Looking at the live views is easy and clear though so that might work fine for some people. Overall I think this light is nice and fits in well with an overall camera system. I would recommend it if you're ok with just pictures or paying for the video clips.

Camera doesn’t capture everything that passes by. It missed me walking by more that a few times. The light turns on at night when its sensors movement. Easy to install but the app seems difficult to use.

Happy with the quality of WYZE floodlight cameras ! Disappointed that the floodlights can’t be on without the cameras on !

You really can't be the value you get with this flood light for the price. Not only is it cheaper than any other brand but the quality in my opinion is better.

Works great with one exception. After connecting it up the garage door remotes might not work.

In today’s world we all are looking for piece of mind when it comes to protecting ourselves and our property. The Wyze cam floodlight really makes that easy to do. With 2 2600 lumen LED lights next to the camera it really lights the place up. There is also a 270 field of view, and motion detection up to 30 feet, which placed in the right position can cover a lot of ground. If someone does come into the picture, there is two-way communication and a 105-decibel siren that can scare them away. If it happens at night don’t worry the 1080p color night vision will give you all the details and the images won’t come out grainy. Another great feature that this has is the option to add on another camera to capture images in two different directions on the same floodlight. I have security cameras, but it has always been an issue because you have place them around the spotlights and then either the image is washed out or shadowed due to the lighting. The is a schedule you can use to have the lights come on as a normal floodlight or just come on with motion. You can even turn them on with the app and use it as a floodlight as needed and not worry about it shutting off. This system is a great improvement and am really looking forward to getting good use out of them

Bought with free delivery and installation as part of the Total Tech membership. Tech came to deliver but said he couldn't install because it was a high voltage product and his license didn't allow him to do that. He said that the total tech would offer a discount for installation through one of the third party electricians. Went to the store to inquire about setting that up and they said they didn't have third party electricians they worked with and I was on my own to get it installed. This whole process has been so ridiculous, from having an appt for install that couldn't actually be completed to finding install is not actually available even though it's an option when buying the product. Buy this product from literally anywhere else.

If you’re looking for a simple, easy to install floodlight camera with no monthly fees this might be just what you are looking for! Wyze has been a leader for years in the budget security camera market. They have pretty much been #1 and with good reason. They offer quality products, with no required monthly fee (although there is a paid subscription if you choose to use it) Out of the box, it is like most Wyze products. The housing is all basically a good quality white plastic. While they are cheaper cameras than most, Wyze definitely puts the money into the product where it needs to be to make it a good quality. This is a wired camera, so you will have to hard wire it. If you aren’t comfortable doing this, definitely call an electrician! I had replaced many lights like this in my day and it was a breeze to install. Basically, remove the old light and wire it up and screw it into the mounting plate. All in all it took me about a half hour to install it. Getting the camera set up in the Wyze app is easy as can be. Just go to add a new device and go through all the prompts and you will be up and running in a matter of minutes! I found the floodlights to be nice and bright and easily lit up my 4-car driveway with ease. The motion detection worked well for me and you are able to tweak it to have the lights come on right when you want them to. The camera is a 1080p with night vision. I found that during the daytime the cameras worked great. I was able to see people on my property and could easily make out license plate numbers of vehicles in my driveway. Night vision works OK if someone it within probably 20-30 feet of the camera. Any further than that and you wont be able to make out much detail at all. This isn’t a Wyze problem, it is this way with pretty much every night vision camera on the market. I can see things down about ¾ of my driveway, but after that there isn’t great detail. So just be aware of that before purchasing. Wyze also allows you to pick a plan that works best for you, all the way from $0 up toa full paid subscription depending on your needs. With the basic Wyze Cam Plus Lite service you get 12-second Event recordings and Wyze Person Detection at whatever price you choose, including $0. Cam Plus Lite gives you Wyze Person Detection and 12-second Event videos as often as every 5 minutes, saved in the cloud for 14 days. It will allow you to receive and filter motion Event videos with people in them to make sure the notifications you get are meaningful. You can also choose the regular Cam Plus subscription which will cost $1.25 a month. Which is still pretty cheap compared to the other main players in the market. Another cool thing about these cameras is they each have a MicroSD card slot so you can add your own storage to give you even more room to store videos! Overall, this is a great budget option for a floodlight camera and doesn’t really cost that much more than just a regular floodlight. It’s a no brainer and will work great for you in most situations!

I would never buy a Wyze product again. Yes they are cheaper than Ring but your get what you pay for. I have not been happy with this floodlight since I bought it. The lights go on and off as they wish. When you step in front of it it takes forever for the lights to turn on. The camera sucks. It is forever going off line.
