First let start as a apocalypse fan my opinion xmen worst enemy they have fought in the comic series " marvel's most fearsome villain! Fan or not check out this film

great movie, love the blu-ray and digital combo's good price at Best Buy for this one...

Big fan of the X-Men sense a kid, and the movies are awesome.

well, the movie is trying to tell the story of how Apocalypse came about into our world and they did a pretty good job of that part. Most of the casting of characters were good, however I did not care for the Angel or Psylocke actors, as they seemed like they were "lost" among the others. I really enjoyed the Quicksilver character, as he has been in a couple of these movies already and is very entertaining when he is in "slow-motion." The fight scenes could have been better, as the climax scene was too busy with rocks and debris all floating around in the backgrounds. Nice to see Jean develop into her destined powers too.

X-Men Apocalypse is one of the greatest movies I have seen. The depth to the story is absolutely stunning. Its not just a simple movie based on a comic book series. Its so much more than that. If you are someone with a deep and thoughtful mind, you will enjoy the expansive story within this wonderful film.

I’ve been a huge MARVEL Comics Fan for most of My life, and knew the X-Men: Apocalypse was an excellent film, so decided to get the BluRay + DVD Combo package. It looks GREAT in BluRay, and the price matching aspect of Best Buy came in handy so it wasn’t as much money as I’d originally thought.

It’s good, but not as much as the others. Special effects are there, story is easy to follow, lots of favorite characters. But some don’t feel quite right, and Magneto specifically didn’t live up to his hype from Days of future past.

The X-men back in action. The newer generation have come around to stand their ground and show they have something to share with the world of X-men and its legacy. The visual effects and action sequences are on point.

I love this movie but even more in 4k. I'm glad Best Buy had it available

If you like the movie, then you should get it. I have seen it a few times already. The picture quality is excellent on my 120 inch projector screen. I got it for a good price, so definitely worth it.

Not the best of the series, but entertaining enough. Varies from the original story somewhat, but if you're not familiar with it, then no big deal.

I am a fan of the X-Men series, both the original Patrick Stewart / Ian McKellen trilogy of films and the prequel/ reboots starring James Macavoy and Michael Fassbender. In my opinion, these are the gold standard of Marvel Comic book movies. So I was a built-in audience for the third film in the reboot series. That "Apocalypse" is not up to the level of accomplishment of "Days of the Future Passed," the previous installment, is both evident but not really evidence against this film. "Apocalypse" is so goofy in its story, so over-the-top in its effects, that it almost plays as a parody of the series without really undermining the codes and conventions that have made these films so memorable. Oscar Isaac comes aboard as one of those timeless villains that only exist in comic books--the ancient entity with mystical powers who is going to cleanse the world of corruption. Marvel specializes in this kind of antagonist, and I must admit that I am a sucker for such swill. What else would explain my affinity for "Blade Trinity"? The plot pits those mutants who are seduced by this End of Days deity and those that still harbor hope for mankind. Anyway, it's all pretty silly, but the special effects are first rate, the actors are committed, and all the requisite bases are touched in bringing this particular X-Men trilogy to a close. There's even a teaser in the credits setting up the next X-Men spin-off featuring Wolverine. What more could an X-Men fan ask for?

Apocalypse is a great villain. This movie has great visuals and the action scenes are awesome. It's cool to see so many xmen characters all in one movie. This is great for any xmen fan!!

It's basically a closing chapter to a feeble trilogy that started out pretty well and then ran out of gas, and now must serve as a prequel to shadowy X-related endeavors yet to come.

Set in the distant future, the misfits face a foe of incredible power and impact who awakens from long ago and seeks to divide their unity in his quest to dominate all!

Definitely a watchable movie. I really wished they had kept the apocalypse character more visibly true to the comics

As the latest X-Men movie (not counting Logan) this is a great movie with a fun and engaging sci-fi plot. The surround sound track on this movie is especially great.

The follow-up to the great "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was a huge disappointment. Bryan Singer hit a home run with his return to the X-Men universe (and the follow-up to the widely acclaimed "X-Men: First Class") but struck out with Apocalypse. The biggest fault this movie had was it did not have a compelling villain (like Magneto and William Stryker in the past). Oscar Isaac, a great actor who hit box office gold with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," is completely wasted here and buried in makeup that makes him look like Ivan Ooze from the first Power Rangers movie. Plus, i had a hard time believing that a young, inexperienced X-Men team - even led by Charles Xavier - could defeat this omnipotent foe. As far as a blu ray package is concerned, I was very pleased with the additional content. The deleted scenes featured what was in my opinion, the best scene of the movie - the "Safety Dance" extended mall scene. If you are a huge X-Men and Marvel fan, I recommend the blu ray purchase, but if you're an average moviegoer looking for something good to watch, save your money and just got the Red Box route on this.

I grew up with the X-men characters from the first time I read them in comic books. It was a stunning sight to see my expectations fulfilled on screen.

X Men movies tend to be hit or miss, but this is a hit. A mix of old/new characters/storylines.
