The console itself is great; quiet, fairly compact, and easy to install. The Operating system is a freaking nightmare: • Complicated user interface • Having to install every game before you play is rediculous • The kinect feature is cool, but it should come with a written manual of voice commands • Does not recognize 1080i only 1080p so if you have a 1080i TV it will display at 720p • No Backward compatibility Don't get me started on the "New" Xbox Live for the One... The only reason I got this thing is to play Destiny with my wife... cause oh yeah... it's single player no split screen.. Yup you guessed it I have two of these things... Right now the only game we play on it IS Destiny! "I would recommend this to a friend"... only so we can have another fire team member on Destiny....

Beautiful upgrade from both my prior Xbox 360 and my PS3. Took the dive with XBO once Madden & NBA2k15 were released-- and couldn't be more pleased with the graphics & gameplay!

Bought the system and I couldn't get it working until I connected it to the Internet. I decided to sign up for home Internet service, but I wish I had known that the system wouldn't work out of the box without an update.

The Microsoft Xbox One console stands head and shoulder above the previous generation Xbox. Sharper, more vivid graphics, along with the Kinnect hardware, make the Microsoft Xbox One console the perfect mate to any serious gamer.

Nice home page layout. Easy to use. Many great things soon to come. Game selection is poor as of now. A lot of updating involved but that's to be expected with something new.

The XBOX one is a great upgrade over the 360 as far as graphics processor and memory and a great value at $399 without the Kinect and all the useless stuff that comes with it. Titanfall is addictive and I cannot wait for Destiny and the other great games coming for the holidays. Should you get one if you already have a 360? Yes if you are looking for the gaming console of the next 5 years. The rest of the stuff is not a great deal. Everyone has a bluray player and do you really need to turn off your xbox with your voice?

So far my only regrets with the Xbox one are that I cannot use my G35 USB headset and that I decided to get it without the Kinect. I haven't had any problems with the system. The games are fun and the controller is intuitive.

I am so happy with the new X-Box system. The X-Box One blows away the X-box 360. The graphics seem so much sharper and I can now watch all my Blu-Ray movies on it. Also the new games comming out for the X-Box one are awesome

It's what I expected though it's very disappointing that it isn't backwards compatible; it's basically like a whole new console since you have to keep your 360 hooked up to play any of your old favorite games. It's a windows 8 or a new windows smart phone but on a console.

Got this to use in addition to my Xbox 360, to bad there is no backwards compatibility, but not a deal breaker. While I am not anti-Kinect, I am not a fan of putting an Internet connected mic and camera in my living room.

Way under marketed. Great streaming tool from in house network computers. Easy interface. On-line gaming is very interesting. With COD on-line there are the "quick and the dead." I am 61 yrs old and i love playing COD.

I was leery about spending the money on the new gen console but I'm glad that I did. It's nice having everything wrapped up all into one console that can do anything.

Te XBone is a POWERFUL All in one gaming machine. The graphics are far pas those of its predecessor. Anyone who owns one of these machines will not regret te purchase.

I've rally enjoyed the system since purchase and would recommend it to others. Sad about the lack of backwards compatibility, and not being able to use digital downloads I've accumulated over the years on Xbox 360. Can't wait for the library to grow including Destiny.

My husband can't stay away from the xbox he loves it

I bought this for my brother-in-law, so he could play with my husband. He loves it! It's great for gamers or those who love to watch movies. I watch all my blu-ray movies on it and I play a few games myself. It's definitely a great buy, especially as a gift.

Amazing console. Definitely worth the $400 I paid. Happy Microsoft decided to take the Kinect out of the box and make it optional. CANT WAIT FOR DRAGON AGE!!!

Its a lot of fun with some of the newer games. i only have one at the moment, but the graphics are awesome. didn't see the need for the kenect, but i kind of want one :-) a lot quieter than the old 360 i had.
