I’ve had the chance to try out both the series s and the series x and i can wholeheartedly this little guy is amazing. The price to performance is incredible and coupled with gamepass it is a steal, I highly recommend this to someone who is more of a casual gamer especially kids but regardless you can’t go wrong. It’s an amazing Xbox!

The Xbox S was a purchase for one specific purpose: MS Flight Simulator 2020. I had been looking at MS Windows computers with sufficient specs to run the simulator, but they were all coming out more expensive than the Xbox. The console is more than adequate, and less expensive. It will also allow me to add a joystick if I want to improve the experience later. I've been a Playstation user when it comes to gaming, and I still prefer the Sony controllers and interfaces to the Xbox ones, to be honest. The MS controller feels cheaper, is not as ergonomic. There was a learning curve with the Xbox OS, and I'm still not sure I'm using it completely right. It reminds me of my previous experience with Windows products when I gave them up and became an Apple user around 20 years ago. As a practical matter, the Xbox S does fine for the single purpose task I had in mind for it, and it comes in a couple hundred dollars less than what I would have spent on a desktop system at the higher end of the required specs for running the sim. If FS 2020 had been available on other platforms, I do not think I would have added the console. My experience with ordering the product from Best Buy was unproblematic. Delivery was only two days after the order, and it saved me an hour's drive to the closest store location.

I purchased this console so I could play Gamepass titles with my son. (XBox/PC Crossover play can be challenging at times.) Graphics and audio are excellent. Fit and finish, likewise. I find connecting to my network via ethernet vs wi-fi is more efficient. Besides the titles I keep installed, I swap out games routinely, and I highly recommend expanding memory unless you enjoy playing storage-Tetris. The console out-of-the-box is set to the maximum resolution settings, so you may need to boot into low-res to complete the initial setup.

Easy more compact and pretty quick. Controller batteries don’t last already switched to chorded controller.

Only bad thing is there’s not much storage on it but I play games like Call Of Duty so that’s partially my fault. Way faster than the Xbox One. Never had any issues with it at all. The controller that came with it is my go to. I have a pink controller i bought also but the one that came with the Xbox hasn’t messed up from one fall. Highly recommend

I love the s series bundle i purchased from best buy. What you get for the price is impressive. The extras you get ( fortnite skins and coins, rocket league stuff and so on) are definitely added value. This little xbox is no joke and is lightyears better than the xboxone. Im definitely pleased with it and dont regret saving the extra 200+ bucks and not going with the x. And using that money for an external ssd.

Good for price, good graphics, if you want storage buy series X

Main condole is a Series X and this was the perfect pick up to let other folks play newer games or co-op when the X is in use. Good price great performance especially for 1080p gaming on an older TV.

I've always been an xbox fan and needed to upgrade for a few games that weren't being made for the previous gen anymore and the Series S was just what I needed. Almost bought the more expensive one, but this has been perfect for me. Very fast and great graphics.

I love this xbox series S 512. I had the version before this and i like that as well but this one is faster slimmer and just an all around more comfortable feeling to have. I would recommend this console to everyone who likes playing on the xbox systems.

Everything it says it does, it does. I’ve had this console for about maybe two years now and do not regret this purchase. I got this system because I’m not a huge player but still wanted something that could hold enough game storage. Everything came in good shape no damages from the delivery. And the set up was very easy, wasn’t scratching my brain trying to figure anything out. Would recommend and have already recommended this system to other people who want something they could easily transport and play passively on. Nothing to complain on since it states everything it can and can’t do. And I’ve been pleased with it since it first came in.

Upgraded from a orginal Xbox One S. The increase in preformance blew me away immediately. Snagged this on daily deal and saved on it. For the money it was a massive upgrade and would pay retail to get into next gen gaming. I can’t beleive I waited

I originally wanted the bigger one but settled for this one. It’s small and convenient to take anywhere. 512 is just enough GB to have but I would aim for more if you want to download other games.

Excellent quality by Microsoft. Starts up and runs quick. Only issue is that its 512GB but I have 5 games on it and have almost no space left. Really weird, but other than that I love it!
