I'm so p*ssed right now. FedEx delivered, i ran out to grab immediately. They delivered it in the actual box. Just slapped a shipping label on it!? How dumb. Shows the contents of a XBox Series X Galaxy Edition right on it. Needless to say, I immediately noticed how light the box seemed. Bring it in and open it. No console, controller, or hardware. Replaced with several packs of baby wipes for weight. Clearly, in route, either it was a FedEx or Best Buy employee who stole it out. I contacted FedEx 1st. They "opened an investigation". Told to get in touch with Best Buy for refund or replacement. Figured it would be easy.... I was wrong. Got hung up on twice by Customer Service. 3rd tine was a charm. Lady was nice. Gave the option of refund, send replacement, or pickup at local BB if in stock. Which it was. So she created an order. Within minutes, I got notification my order was being prepared for pickup. Estimated an hour or 2. So after 2 hours I went to the store where the GM was nice but he couldnt release the console to me because it was still being "processed" and wasnt allowing him to do anything on his end. I received an email to send photos of the box delivered. So I did. No confirmation or email back from BB shipping team. Called in again and was told they would email the backend team to try and expidite things. Needless to say, I'm still out $600 and no XBox. I've been a loyal customer. Can't be this hard to replace with the console they have behind the desk for me. Then deal with your investigation or whatever they need to do. I would start by not sending expensive things in their original box that shows the contents. Maybe put the box in a generic box before sending. Like most normal companies. It's been 3 days now and crickets. Its unreal.

It worked great for about a month. The November 2024 update bricked it. I was greeted by a failed update screen saying "Something went wrong." Nothing, and I mean nothing would result in any other outcome. Restarting the console, attempting to factory reset, and attempting to install the update from a USB drive all resulted in the same error. This is an issue with the console and not the update since I have an older 1 TB Series X, and it installed the update with no issues. I'm going to see if Best Buy or Microsoft will do anything about it, but until they do, it's a 1 star.

The xbox over heated before we could download the 1st game. Now best buy says they are sold out nation wide and cant get me a replacement right now.

This is the best xbox they made in a while. Its got a good amount of storage for the price it is and comes with a cool looking design. Get this over the ps5 pro because this xbox plays super smooth. Dont waste money on ps5 pro cause you got to buy a stand separately and this comes with it. So dont be fooled with the one stars this is a amazing console

I love the galaxy edition Xbox. The design is super cool. The fan is dead silent and does an amazing job keeping everything cool and running efficiently. The 2 TB storage is a HUGE bonus. I’m very pleased with the limited edition controller, high speed HDMI cable, and the lightning fast load speeds. 10/10

Excellent! I used to be an avid gamer but took a break as I got older. Now that I have more disposable income I decided to resume my hobby and picked this console up the day it was released. The 2TB storage is great in this day and age where many top-tier games run 100GB+. I also like the Galaxy design it looks cool. The green disk it balances on is a little weird I wish it wasn't so bright green but that's a minor gripe. Also, it advertises 4k 120HZ gaming as a capability and that's definitely true but it will stutter some times during certain scenes/levels that are demanding and I have had it crash on me once already. All-in-all though its a good console!

Great system and cool looking controller. Fast and good storage. Since its not at the time of this review being made anymore, not sure anyone will read this. But if they become available again it is worth it. I never had the Xbox Series X before this. My review is based on the upgrade from the Xbox one X.

Sold my launch XSX for this beautiful upgrade! Why upgrade you ask? They shrinked down the chipset and upgraded the cooling system. Don't forget the 2TB of space. With a stand disc drive and extra TB of memory. This console does way more and at a cheaper price over the PS5 Pro. Plays every generation of XBOX games. CDs, DVDs, 4k/Blu-rays. Gamepass is king, BO6, STALKER 2 and Indiana Jones costs 210 plus tax that's the same price for the whole year of gamepass.

Microsoft made an excellent console with the Xbox Series X. This console not only plays all the current games but it also plays previous titles from Xbox 360 and the original Xbox which says a lot about the company itself. The new Galaxy Black Edition is a chef kiss to the console now that Xbox is changing what an Xbox is and has minimized the console to being nothing but an access point. Just like the halo special edition console that came out back in 2021, this I feel would be the last one for 2024 and possibly the last disk based Xbox we see from Microsoft. If you were lucky enough to obtain one of these hold on to it and enjoy it because it's an amazing console and I truly enjoy playing it over my PS5.

The Xbox Series X - Galaxy Limited Edition is better than I expected. It is my first Xbox and it did not disappoint. I have been a PlayStation fan since the beginning and now I decided to try the Xbox brand. I would definitely recommend the Xbox Series X to every gamer. The graphics are awesome and everything runs buttery smooth. There are so many great games and a lot of them are Backwards compatible across 4 generations of Xboxes. And then the Xbox has a Remote Play feature that allows you to play your games away from home on your IPhone, IPad, or Tablet; which runs flawlessly on Android or IOS.

The 2TB Galaxy Xbox Series X is an absolute powerhouse! The extra storage means I never have to worry about deleting games, and the console runs everything incredibly fast and smooth. I’ve been waiting for this for several months now I just picked up my new Xbox series X galaxy black edition I could be more happy with my purchase It was finally time to upgrade my Xbox. The last one I had was the limited edition gears of war 2 TB. And still working! But it was time for something NEW!

The design is really nice. Upgraded from an XBox One to this and just the storage difference alone is amazing. I had to rotate the games that I play to reserve space, so I spent a lot of time redownloading games when I wanted to play them with the 2TB everything stays downloaded all the time. Also a lot faster than my previous console, I usually load into lobbies faster than my friends. No complaints at all.
