Great rpg for the switch. Will occupy many hours. Combat is simplistic but satisfying.

Very JRPG if that's your thing. Only a few hours into the game, but so far it's great.

This is my first Xenoblade game. I really enjoy the cinematics and im really not the once to watch them and usually skip. But they did a good job. and there are a lot of cinematics too...grabs you into the story. Gameplay is good. Thank goodness for the quick travel. You will spend many hours traveling and completing side quests if you choose to. After Zelda, this is the next game to play for long adventure. I also like how you can avoid alot of melee fights and once your level is way above the melee enemies, they don't even bother to initiate battle with you. Which is is huge plus for me. The game does a good job in teaching you new tactics along the way. I love how you can send your blades off to complete mission and they level up. It took me the longest time to realize that i don't have to control "Rex" all the time and can switch who i can control! Performance is good. I play in tv mode only.

This game is huge. Right off the bat, I will say that it is what gamers consider a JRPG, (Japanese Role Playing Game). So it does not appeal to everyone. I personally love RPGS of all kinds and decided to give it a try. I will admit I almost gave up on the game approximately 25 hours in because the battle system can be really complex and the game throws a tutorial at you every 5 mins. Once I started to get the hang of it though, I realized just how special this game is. I now love he combat and the artwork is phenomenal. Just be warned, it was a slow burn for me to get into it, but now I'm hooked!

I haven’t been able to put this game down since I bought it. Amazing visuals (though resolution is reduced in handheld mode from what I can tell). The soundtrack is just as impressive. This is a must for any RPG fan whether you’ve ever played a game from the franchise or not.

Good for people who like Japanese RPGs, keeps you engaged. Really nice graphics!

This game offers hours of of content. Could easily become a 100 hour playthrough if you choose to do side quests and other missions. The story is breathtaking!

This game is a blast. Now if your not a fan of the traditional faults to JRPGs then I do not recommend this game. Now if you love the funny Japanese humor in games like this it’s a wonderful game. Just remember that there is a lot of level grinding as with most JRPGs.

blade Chronicles is a JRPG with quality production values and great music.

If your an anime lover, story arc thrill rider, or simply looking for something different. This game is it! The amount of beauty this game as to offer in a massive world really shows the potential the switch has now and ups the bar on games to come. Gameplay is quickly explained. Seriously though the openworld of monsters everywhere to train, plus a character build between touching scenes creates moments I'd have to compare as, Monster hunter meets original Mass Effect trilogy, w/ an E rating. Bottom line if you haven't played or looking for that perfect gift THIS IS IT!

Great open world game! not a fan of the gameplay but love the graphics!

I have owned this game for some time. While I tend to not finish games, I find this one continuously playable. I have played well over 100 hours and still not at the end. I tend to casually play and do as many side quests as possible to break up the story play. It is massive and well made. There is a reason why it is one of the best games on Switch. I very much enjoy the story, side stories, and characters. I think it is challenging without being overwhelming. Definitely a game for most players.

XBC 2 is a great game. Although it has a long tutorial and seems like it drags on, it makes up for it with excellent combat and a great story.

A good long game for killing time. Especially on the go on the switch.
