A huge world to explore with a deep and complex battle system as well

Fun game on the switch, different than most of the systems line up

Great game with amazing story. Graphics docked are really beautiful but handheld they are just ok.. If you get this game I would definitely recommend playing it docked to enjoy the amazing world of xenoblade with the best graphics.

A game for JRPG fans... lots of lore with well craft characters.

It’s a great game! Until you somehow come across a level 81 creature and it stomps on your level 12 character. Over all I did enjoy the game. It’s fun, though battles are long. I enjoyed the cut scenes and time the developers took to make the game much more interesting. The only other XenoBlade I played was the first one with Shulk and his monodo.

The best thing about this game is the combat system, which rewards planning and good tactics. The worst thing is sometimes wandering around the overworld not knowing where to go. The game has a familiar "compass" to point you in the right direction, but often times you have to start at a very specific waypoint to be able to reach the destination, otherwise you're just blocked off by giant mountains and impassable terrain. Decently written characters, not as memorable as some of the all time greats of JRPG's but each main character is unique enough to be distinguished. The complexity is not for newcomers to the genre, but if you've played other JRPG's the game does a decent enough job of explaining and introducing different mechanics over the course of the game.

Amazing game with great mechanics it's certainly unique. If you aren't into anime this game is probably not for you as there's a lot of anime style behaviors. But i loved it

This game has an excellent story and amazing graphics. The nearly unlimited ways you can customize your character and party are amazing.

Saw the great reviews for the game but there were many flaws such as poor camera control, terrible map which made reaching quests extremely difficult, and boring gameplay where you auto attack and don't have to do much else.

I never played the first Xenoblade Chronicles, so I wasn't exactly sure how the combat system was going to be in this game. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the real-time fighting mechanics make for a much more lively game experience than in similar turn-based RPG's (thinking of older FF's games). Has a compelling story that draws you in and decent character development that drives the gamer to want to resolve all the conflicts around them to see where the story goes. All in all a solid RPG albeit no Zelda ;-)

A fun rpg for first timers or fans of the first title

A great game overall, good music, good story, good graphics for the switch, it awesome to play both on the big screen and on the GO.

If you want a open world JRPG this game is for you.
