My wife's a huge JRPG fan and has basically been playing this game nonstop. It has tons of main and side story content. Overall I'd say it's great for any JRPG fan, especially if they like action based combat systems.

I bought this game for a friend for their birthday. They really like it, but they said that the tutorials take a long time. Other tahn that the game is really beautiful and fun to play.

I was never a huge JRPG kind of person, but this game has completely blown me away. It’s so much fun and a good story line.

I love the game flowing seamlessly between field and battle, and the story is thus far very interesting. There are far too many game mechanics to keep up with, but it's still fun to play.

The combat is very much similar to Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii (or 3DS, if you got the port.) The art is a bit different, though, taking on a little bit more of the cartoon feel. That doesn't detract from the depth of the story, though. It's still a fun game to play, with interesting characters that you would expect from an RPG of this nature. Some of the voice acting is a little...grating, but that can be said for many RPGs with a mix of...unique characters. Overall a fun game with interesting combat mechanics. (The combat starts off a bit slow, but it picks up. I guess to ease the player into the different style of gameplay.) Two thumbs up!

After watching many reviews, I was on the fence about this title, but it was a great purchase. Do not recommend if you are not a JRPG fan, gameplay is enjoyable, characters are interesting.

I heard so many great things about this game and finally decided to give it a shot. It was a little slow at first, but then quickly became a game I just could not put down.

Has everything you need in an RPG and more. I love the battles and cut-scenes and the worlds are fun to explore in.

If you played the first zenoblade then there’s no doubt that you’ll love this one. Even if this is your first RPG then you’ll really enjoy it as it is very informative with tutorials to learn the battle mechanics which I will admit can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it you’ll really enjoy the combat system, numerous combos, and great storyline and let’s not forget the gorgeous scenery in this game!

Unique Voice-acting can be a bit cheesy but honestly, the dub of accents that aren't just stock america is quiet refreshing, its like watching a damned good anime that you play and once you figure out the battle system its even more amazing! Its nice to see a company getting an RPG right in this age, where most fall pathetically short or cater to bring in unique elements that really never belong in a good RPG...this game is a must have!

Having never played the previous Xenoblade games I still managed to get caught in the hype surrounding the game pre-release and after checking out footage I knew I needed to pick this up. The beginning of the game is a bit rough, but once I got familiar with the combat system it became a blast. One of the few games that I've been able to complete without taking a significant break in playing. Beat the game at around 100 hours. Looking forward to New Game +.

One of the best JRPG's you can play. Fantastic world to explore and enjoy with an incredible story

I really enjoyed this game. It is much more similar to XC1 than XCX as it has a protagonist with a storyline. There are a few questions that are unanswered at the end of the game, but for the most part, everything is satisfactorily answered. The sidequests are quite fun and a new method of leveling up allows you to enjoy these without being forced to over level. There were a few frame rate issues in certain towns, but not so much as to impact my playing.

Good graphics and interesting story line. English voices seemed odd so I got the free Japanese dlc pack.

The game has a deep combat system and you can still learn new things when you are in half the play through. The image quality on handheld mode is blurry though. This game reminds me of WOW.

I never played an RPG before, and don't particularly like long games. But this game was amazing, I played for over 100 hours always finding something to do (though you should be able to beat it much sooner-I was taking my time). I would recommend this to anyone. If the game is too difficult you can level up your characters different ways and then continue on your journey-so this game caters to those great at these type of games and not so great.

This is the Dragon Ball game fans have been wanting for years. The chance to take control of their favorite iconic characters from the franchise and create their own epic moments in battles that look like they've been ripped straight from a DBZ episode. This game truly realizes that dream, and even if you've never watched a DBZ episode in your life, this game offers engaging, fast-paced, fleshed out combat that will be appealing to you as well.

If you're a fan of RPG games, than this is a must get game for you. Awesome story line and in game play.
