Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the deep gameplay, touching story, and immersive world of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, often praising the game's music as well. However, some find the voice acting and battle system to be challenging, while others point to occasional performance and resolution issues, particularly in handheld mode. The map's usability is also a source of some frustration for players.

An acquired taste
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xenoblade Chronicles is a bit of an acquired taste, while not turn based, it's still an old school JRPG. Lots of grinding, high level enemies are everywhere (and they will kill you early on), and lots of silly side quests to get lost in. If games like Skyrim are your thing I would move on to something else. But if games like Final Fantasy VI and Dragon Quest get you going, get this one now. Don't forget to download the free Japanese voice pack.

Great JRPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has a world that feels expansive and characters that really draw you in. Lots of customization of characters abilities, skills, and stats. The only drawback of this game is that the combat can feel a little bit underwhelming at times, as user input is not actually required to complete battles. User input during battle activates special abilities and can chain combos, so it is recommended to use your abilities to complete battles, but with enough leveling of characters you won't need to use the abilities for most fights and can basically let the game play itself. The game has lots of sidequests and sights to see.

Definitely got my money's worth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The overall depth of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and how well it all ties together is astounding. Though higher expectations mean it is less of a stunning revelation than the first game, Monolith Soft has risen up tall to meet those expectations and delivered spectacularly in every area. 2017 has been one of the greatest years in RPG history; Xenoblade Chronicles 2 caps that off in mesmerizing fashion by being one of the finest titles of the year.

Good fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still exploring and getting a hang of the battle system, but the game looks great in handheld mode and the characters and story are interesting. Nintendo has a winner here.

Xenoblade Chronicles Newb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this game more than I thought I would. I like getting the rare blades and the story is good. The map is weird though. I have had to look up how to get to some areas because it isn't clear where I'm supposed to go. The battle system has auto attack while your artes charge. You can combo with other party members based on your specials. Healing was weird for me at first. You don't have a menu to go into during battle to heal. You have certain artes that will heal or generate potions. USE THE POUCHES! I forget to use my pouch a lot, but you can put different items in the pouches to help during battles.

Another Awesome Entry in the Xenoblade Series :-)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a huge Semi-Open World single player JRPG. The Game Environments are Huge and Varies by regions from Swamps to Snowy Mountains. The Soundtrack is very well done and catchy. The Battle System is fun and easy to understand and fun to execute combos and Chain Links Specials. The Game has dozens and i mean dozens of hours of content. I highly recommend this Game if you like JRPG Games and want a Huge Time Sinker xD

Really fun, If you are into JRPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battle system is really creative and fun, make repetitive thing like fighting hordes of monsters fun. The story is ok, its nothing amazing. If you havnt play any JRPG, I wouldn't really recommend it, unless you want to try it. Overall I really have fun playing this game.

Another Great Game in the name of Xeno
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fixed some of the harder controls and tricky battle tactics that the first seemed to struggle on. Half way through the game I can say it is worth the purchase.

Great Switch RPG if you like anime
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little Switch RPG, especially on-the-go. Lot's of anime tropes, but can be overlooked considering the very in-depth battle system, customizations, and storyline.

Only 4 stars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X were better. That being said, this is a good game with a lot of depth to the combat system. The side quests are infuriating because they keep branching off into other chores and don’t seem to ever end. Also, the cutscenes keep taking this really goofy turn and keep ripping me out of the story. It will do something really silly and cartoonish in one scene and then have something somewhat sexually oriented in the next one. It’s hard to tell what age group they are aiming this at. Overall it is fun but it’s my least favorite of the three XC games.

Another great Xenoblade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love a game that has me hooked even before it reads "chapter one" on the screen. I am still currently playing this game but can clearly see that as always Xenoblade delivers.

Top pick on my nephew's Christmas list.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though he hasn't played it yet, this was a top pick for nephew for Christmas. He's sunk so many hours in the original that I have no doubt he's going to love this one as well.

A Great Journey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the money because it is a long game. The story is intriguing and the characters are relatable. It can become tedious after a while with the side quests.

Best PS2 game ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has a lot of flaws that shouldn't really happen with this generation of games but it also has some really great points, like its music and combat.
