Xenoblade 2 certainly has the feeling of a Xenoblade game but it isn't as original as the first title in the series or the spinoff "Xenoblade Chronicles X." The battle system is enjoyable and the game is extremely long offering great value for your money but it doesn't do much new for the genre.

Overall very good game like the xenoblade games before it. The collectors edition is pretty good. Art book is excellent and soundtrack is good as well. But the soundtrack is only a selection and contains very few tracks and misses out on some of the best tracks that you get to hear in game.

The story is interesting enough. It isn't the best JRPG story I've ever seen, but it's by no means bad. The battle system is good, but I personally don't like it. It's a bit too complicated for my liking; however, I prefer straightforward turn based menus.

The artbook, cd, steel case, and game are all amazing. The Switch is killing it and its only been out 9 months!

If you enjoy Japanese style rpgs, this is a must have game for the Switch. It has a wonderful story, great graphics, and deep game play. The special edition also includes a steel book case for the game, a sound track CD, along with a premium full color art book for the game. The book is gorgeous!

I am most of the way through the game. If you enjoy single player RPG's with good stories, exploration, a good battle system, and memorable characters, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 might be the game for you! My only real complaint about the game is the lack of more detailed sorting features for items in your inventory. At times, it takes awhile to search through every item you have obtained to find the one you want to use. Overall, great game!

Amazing RPG gameplay with tons of hours of gameplay and story. So many systems to learn and master.

Xenoblade is back and nearly better than ever. Great exploration, combat, story, and characters.

Combat is a little slow, story so far seems interesting. Gameplay is quiet entertaining.

The Xenoblade chronicles SE comes with a awesome heavy artbook a soundtrack selection cd and the game in a pretty steel bookcase all packaged in large embossed holographic box. All in all its a great collectors edition i would however prefer if the box was made of thick stock cardboard as i had problems with damages that could have been reduced if Nintendo used a stronger box.

Xenoblade Chronicles was an amazing RPG on the Nintendo Wii U and one with the second installment on the Switch players can once again immerse themselves in a huge world full of places to explore, characters to meet and fight along as well as an awesome story to keep entertained for days to come

I've never bought a special edition before but I loved the first Xenoblade Chronicles so much that I splurged on this. I have to say I'm not disappointed by any of it. The game is awesome, the artbook is awesome and of course with it being composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, the music is awesome

The first Xenoblade Chronicals was really valuable and sought after until GameStop reprinted it. Not sure if this collector edition will command the premium that the first game did. Gameplay wise I would recommend trying it. It will require a lot of your time.

A great game for the Nintendo Switch, though not without it's issues. On a technical level, it runs fine, and the art style is wonderful (though this is highly subjective), but some of the voice acting is overtly wonky, some of the character/costume design is... uh, questionable, and the screen can get overly full of effects during battle. But it's also fun, interesting, has an excellent soundtrack, and is satisfying to play- though it is very long, so do take that into consideration.

Its hard to top Zelda and Mario but i think this game really stands alongside them. Its an amazing sequel to xenoblade chronicles and should be in every switch owners library. I cant put into words how amazing this game is.

Completely satisfied with the purchase, really liked the artbook, and with the discount from Best Buy it was a great price overall, I absolutely recommend grabbing one if you haven't already (and if you can!).

This is a quality over quantity special edition for a game. A very good high quality CD (filled with the game's amazing music) and Gorgeous art book, all encased in a beautiful game case and (very large) box.

Great RPG for the Switch and easily one of my favorite games for the platform. The gameplay is slightly more streamlined then the previous xenoblade games but I found it very enjoyable. Music is also great like the other games. I think it has a strong story. Most weaknesses are mostly hardware limitations of the switch but it didn't get in the way of my enjoyment of the game. All the stuff that came with the special edition are high quality.

I was pumped for this game when it was first announced. As soon as I saw it go live for preorders, I had to get it! As a matter or fact, there was no way I could say no to it. The gameplay is pretty similar to other games of the series. A lot of running around, getting into combat with monsters, picking up items, etc. Oh and don't forget about the amazing story in this game too! Cant say too much without spoiling it, but lets just say it makes me giddy with joy! Tehehe

If you're a fan of JRPG's and haven't got this you need to fix that. You will love it. And if you're not a fan of them, you should give it a try and it might make you a fan. It's that good.
