If you played the original on the Wii you will find the same game here with, while modest, great additions to a great game. Most of the textures are upgraded and it plays smooth throughout. The original was great and the small changes to the interface has helped this game age well. Highly recommended for any fan of the series

This is my first time playing Xenoblade Chronicles and I must say it lives up to the hype. The world is massive with so much to do and has a group of unique characters you get to journey with. Set aside plenty of time because it's a long quest and has an extra epilogue added that apparently wasn't in previous versions.

Really a fun, beautiful, well made, open world JRPG. A true masterpeice. If you have a switch and any interest in JRPGs you already own this or are just about to buy it. If its 20-30% off at Best Buy, do not hesitate it does not go on sale often.

Lovely game and a real treat being able to play it again with all of the DLC included all in one package. This was one title I was on the fence about for the Switch, but the sale for Black Friday was too good to pass up. Definitely would recommend this game to any JRPG fan looking for something new.

This game has a lot of content, the story and gameplay are something else, but of you like this genre of RPGS, you are going to like this.

This is a really good jrpg for the switch. The story Is great and the gameplay holds up. It takes a bit to build up steam but it is fun from the start

It's in the TITLE. This is the DEFINITIVE edition, and best way to experience this story. Includes an epilogue chapter that you can skip straight to if you've beaten it before. Nice touch.

Back when the original game came out on the Wii and New 3DS, it was held back by the hardware it was on. This version of the game feels like the way the developers intended Xenoblade Chronicles to be experienced. Great pickup for existing fans and newcomers!

I picked this up thinking it would be a hack and slash type rpg.. it was quite the opposite . Was going to return it but then the story got alittle more detailed and then hooked me to the point where I was able to deal with the weird battle system. Definitely recommend if you love a good story.

I never had a Wii so I missed out on this gem of a game when It was first released, but playing it now with the newly enhanced graphics is even better with the future connected tying the 2 core games together. I highly reccomend this game, easily now one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

Still early in the game, but I am thoroughly enjoying the overall revisions in this definitive edition. Never got to finish it on wii or 3DS, but I think this is the version that'll push me over to completing it.

At first, I wasn’t too sure whether I’d like this game or not, but after playing it for a few weeks now, I’m really enjoying it. I love the exploration and the gameplay is slightly different than what I’m used to but I absolutely love this game.

This is a must buy for any fan of JRPGs. The story and combat are great. All of your party members in the game are great characters that you can play in a multitude of ways. The graphics in this remake are an amazing improvement on the original game; especially the character models.

This game has a lot of complexity but is great fun. This open world RPG lets you roam free to explore the world, complete side quests or follow the main story. I played the original game on the WiiU and the improvements for the Switch version make the game even more enjoyable.

100+ hours in and still loving it, Must play if you never played on past consoles.

I am a first time player for this title and so far I am liking what I’m playing so far. It took me a long time to get used to the gameplay and combat system. Voice is a great in the soundtrack for the game to me is awesome. I might buy the sequel when it’s on the cheap side.

I loved this game when it came out on the Wii. I loved it again when it was on the New3DS. And now it has reached its final form on the Switch with enhanced graphics so it looks better than ever! If you enjoy JRPGs, play Xenoblade Chronicles. It is that good!

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is the perfect game for both players returning to Guar Plains, and newcomers to the Bionis shoulder. With small tweaks to the mission system, graphical upgrades, and remastered music, it is a fine addition to any persons' Switch library.
