This game is incredible. If you love RPG, Adventure, or open world games, this is a must. Beautiful as well.

...more of a spiritual successor. Or even a re-imagining of the world portrayed. A HUGE world to explore, a deep combat system clearly influenced by MMOs, and gorgeous visuals, I'd recommend this title for anyone who likes large, sprawling JRPGs but is looking for something a little different.

Xenoblade X is a solid RPG for the Wii U. The gameplay is satisfying and it looks great. A little grindy for some people but it's a fun play.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a massive open world game that will give many hours of great entertainment.

Only played a bit of xenoblade on the 3ds. Seemed good enough so I thought I'd try this. Impressed so far. Story seems very interesting.

There is tons to do, so many hours of game play in this game. One of the best RPGs on the Wii U.

Beautiful game. It starts slow but it picks up. I recommend downloading the service packs from the E-Shop to speed up loading times.

I got this game on sale, and at the price it was worth it. I'm still not fully convinced it's a $60 title, but at the price I got it for (around $25) it was worth it. It's definitely one of the most graphically impressive games on the Wii U (character models aside), and the world is beautiful. You can tell the developers worked hard to make this game work on the system. Outside of the graphics, the characters and story are just... alright. It's not the best - not even close - but you can do worse. The voice acting isn't bad either. I've never played the original Xenoblade Chronicles, so I can't say how the gameplay compares to it, but I guess I'd say it's an RPG with some twists. Being able to take your mech (eventually) out and fly around is a thrill, at the very least. Check out a video of the gameplay and see if it's for you. That really is the meat of the game.

I cannot begin to describe the size of Xenoblade Chronicles X--not in just terms of the size of the maps, but the amount of content thrown into it. There is so much to do that it's somewhat overwhelming at first. The first few hours are guided by a gentle tutorial, and more and more content unlocks as you play. If you are looking for replay value on the Wii U, look no further than this game.
