    Great first lens. Good to note that although this is a 35mm lens, it's actually equivalent to a 50mm once it's placed on a Fuji camera crop sensor body. Not a bad thing at all just took a little to get used to but I am in love with this lens.

    The only thing that would make it better is if it was an f1.8, but then it would be twice the price. The 23, 35, and 50 f2s are all excellent you just need to pick which is the focal length for you. The 35 is literally and figuratively the middle ground so it was a no brainer for me.

    I bought this for my son, to go with his second camera. It's a great lens and the wide aperture lets him take perfect shots even in lower light conditions. Great value for the money.

    Compared to the F 1.4 lens this lens is very quiet. Really good for indoor video. The F 1.4 can handle low light better but the constant "whirring" of the autofocus makes it unusable for indoor video.

    Bought this for my fujifilm xt30 to replace the lens it came with. Love it! I read it was a great bang for your buck and it was true. Love that it’s weather resistant in the PNW.
