Excellent replacement Video Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to replace a dead video card on an older Dell desktop (Inspiron 530). This card works well even on desktops with weaker power supplies. Was using an Nvidia card but it wouldn't boot up after a couple years use. Plugged this one in, installed the drivers, and it solved my boot problems. It won't be great for intense gaming, but if you use your computer for web-browser gaming, emails, etc., this works fantastic.

A good improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this card to upgrade and replace a older Radeon 4550 1 GB card. After installation it took almost 8 minutes to install the software and the drivers, but patience endures, and it was worth the wait. It made a decent improvement in an old Dell Optiplex 740 tower that I picked up at a local flea market for $40. However I did upgrade the CPU from a 2.4 GHZ, and the ram up from 3 GB to 8 GB First. The new card brought my Windows Experience Index up from 4.8 to 5.7. Not bad. Good performance without any lag. The Dell runs more quiet now, as well. I'm not a big gamer so it suits my needs. The Dell Optiplex specs are: AMD AthlonX2 5600+ Socket AM2 running @ 2.9 GHZ, Foxconn OTT798 motherboard, 8 GB of total Ram, 2 Seagate 500GB IDE hard drives, 1 of them loaded with Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit. The second for large file storage. Only problem I have ran into is that I can't upgrade my hard drives to SSD. The Motherboard does not support AHCI for SSD's in the BIOS. It's ok..... no complaints here.

Good Quality Video Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a motherboard with on board graphics die so I replaced it with a spare that had only VGA graphics. I needed to pare it with a 1920 X 1080 monitor. I bought this card for under $50.00 and my motherboard recognized it immediately. I'm not a gamer so I don't need a high end graphics card but this one is fine for everyday use. It handles HD video without a problem using Windows 10's build in viewer. This is a legacy card so the drivers are not updated but the ones on Windows updates or from the manufacturer are fine.

Upgraded 4 machines with this card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 4 of these cards. 2 went into home built computers with AMD Phenom II processors and on board ATI 3300 graphics. The cards were dropped into the PCI-e 2.0 slots and were recognized without any surprises. The included drivers worked, but I downloaded the newest versions from ATI. These machines dual boot either into Vista Ultimate 64 bit or Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Big improvement in web surfing and video playback. The other 2 cards went into a Dell i3 and an HP i3. These both had Intel on board graphics, Windows Home 64 bit, and ZERO available power connections. That made it necessary to use cards that do not need a 6 or 8 pin power lead. The box the cards come in says they are PCI-e 3.0, as are the 2 i3 machines. Again, they worked fine after installation. Also, I now can run my 32" monitor on the HDMI connection while using my 27" monitor on the DVI.

So Far So Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a ATI Radeon HD-4350 graphics card in my old HP machine. A recent upgrade of Windows 10 caused the card to stop functioning other than as a basic VGA card. I read somewhere that this card was a replacement for the failed one so gave it a try. It's working fine with no issues. Installation was a breeze and then just plugged in my two monitors and I was back in business. And the price was right.

Easy replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My computer died and it seemed like the video board was the likely component. Found it at Best Buy and store had it in stock at a very good price. Salesman told me if it didn't work I could bring it back. Installed in about 10 minutes. Computer recognized it and I was good to go. Never used the instructions or installation disc.

Good low budget graphics card.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an easy to install, no-frills low budget graphics card. For general desktop use, it is more than capable. Not a gaming card by any stretch, and I don't use it for streaming or watching movies. Just a solid graphics card if you don't have or don't want to use the graphics on your processor or motherboard.

Made computer usable again.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both of my computer screens went blank and no actions brought them back, but the computer appeared to be running and the hard drive was being accessed. It's a nine year old HP with a quad core AMD processor that serves my non-gaming home office usage well. I decided that the problem was likely a failure of the integrated video function. I had an available card slot, found this video card and decided to try it. I also thought that an AMD based card might reduce risk of compatibility issues. I powered off and unplugged the computer, kept myself in contact with the computer chassis, and plugged in the new card. Powered it up and immediately got low resolution video. Loaded the drivers from the enclosed disk, rebooted, and immediately had great high resolution video on both of my screens. The old computer is working great again.

Easy Install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a couple of computers that needed dual monitors, but their integrated graphic cards only had one video output. These new graphic cards were very simple to install, came with all necessary hardware including additional brackets, software CD and instructions. Could not have been easier or quicker to get up and running. I did not test any gaming on these cards.

Good overall video card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had upgraded our computer to Win10. Old card had no drivers to allow dual monitors. This is a good, inexpensive fix. Running a VNC client on one screen and our DMX lighting software on the other. No problems.

Great Little Video Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older but still capable PC which I upgraded to Windows 10 when it came out back in 2015. For the initial release and the first couple of major updates, my mainboard graphics chip was compatible with the Win 10 release/upgrade. However, with the Fall 2017 Win 10 release, my mainboard graphics chip was no longer supported. I was able to drop this inexpensive yet capable graphics card into my PC, turn off the on-board graphics chip and be back up and running in under 15 minutes!
