Really happy with my purchase. Would recommend using Wattmann to set a custom fan curve. By default it doesn't spin till the card is plenty hot. I set mine to start at 25% fan speed at 30*C and then cap it at 50% fan speed at 70*C. Card doesn't go above 70*C even after hours of gaming.

I was looking to upgrade from a GTX 1060 in order to run Battlefield V and Borderlands 3 at high settings on a new 1440p (60Hz) monitor. But NVIDIA's prices for the RTX 2070 Super made me sick to my stomach, so I decided on the comparable Radeon RX 5700 XT. I had originally intended to wait for the Sapphire Nitro+ version of this card, which reviewers seem to fawn over based on its build quality and thermal performance, but this was in store, less expensive, and still performs very well thermally. I can hear the fans when its running, but they don't interfere with gameplay or being able to talk in the room. XFX has done a good job with the aesthetics on this - I don't care for too much RGB. Overall AMD has got a winner with the RX 5700 XT!

I recently purchased this card to replace an Nvidia RTX 1660. The card performed decent, but I'm not big fan of the RGB. I was going back and forth between this card and 2070 Super. I read about people having issues with the AMD Drivers so I was kind of leaning towards the 2070, but I saw the positive reviews for this card and ended up purchasing it. So far my experience has been great. I uninstalled all of the Nvidia software/drivers before installing this card. The install went smooth. I made sure I downloaded the most recent drivers. I actually downloaded them from the XFX web site because they had the latest update. The AMD website didn't. I am very happy with the performance of this card. I'm playing The Division 2 and I can tell a difference in visuals and performance. I'm not in the 4k realm, but the 1080P visuals are still stunning. On Ultra settings I'm averaging 100fps. Borderlands 3 also looks amazing. For those on the fence I highly recommend this card.

I'm writing this review because XFX won't give you your 3 months of Xbox game pass without giving them a review with 5 stars! Other then that it is a good card! Pros: -Great performance, kills it in the frame department in most games (For Honor 1080p Max Ultra- 180-220fps, The Witcher 3 1080p Max Ultra- 90-110fps) -Isn't too loud (is still a little) -It looks great in my build, it has a nice black finish and a "XFX" white LED -Good temps (60-65 max edge temp but that's with max fans) -Best RX 5700 XT card you can buy from Best Buy (as of October 3rd 2019) Cons: -The fans take about 5 min for the fans to spin down to normal RPM from a heavy load (its not because the barrings are good, if you turn off the pc they turn of immediately) -In adrenaline the fans go to 100% at 50% on the graph for the most part (it has a mind of its own) -There are better cards in a similar price range (Though almost none have the convenience of a warranty from Best Buy) -MSI Afterburner combined with this card causes the screen to flicker black every 3-5 secconds Verdict: The XFX - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT RAW II is a great card that you can buy. Should you? It depends if you want the warranty from Best Buy or not. If you do then go ahead buy this card, I get amazing frame rates and it doesn't get very hot at all! I would recommend to a friend. If you are fine going with New Egg then go for the Sapphire Pulse for the similar price range and better cooler, or the Red Devil for the extra 40$ you get RGB, and 3 fans.

    Design

I have been using twin GTX 970 cards by EVGA since I first pieced my tower together back five years ago which got me by just fine until Nvidia stopped supporting SLI for my cards & 1080p on my 144hz ASUS monitor suddenly didn't pan out for the latest generation of games. I was recently gifted COD Modern Warfare 2019 & I was finally unable to play a game at my minimum standard of 60fps with all the bells and whistles. So here I am floating between a 2070 Super and the RX 5700 XT as my next card and 1440p HDR as my next tier of graphical enjoyment. After several reviews & some YT videos covering just about everything I needed to know about the current industry & what it came down to for me was a $100+ difference for less than ten percent margin on frame-rates plus Ray Tracing which to me seems to be a nice perk though limited in support right now = not cost effective IMO. It's been a long time since I used a non-Nvidia based card actually since ATI had the All-in-Wonder card series and before AMD took over. I've been eyeing putting together an AMD rig since the new Ryzen processors had been introduced & I figured now might be a decent time to do just that. How I came about buying the XFX brand of RX 5700 XT card is by viewing their portfolio of hardware and reading the reviews offered. I wanted to pick up their newest card which is the XFX RX 5700 XT Thicc III Ultra but my local Best Buy didn't carry it and I needed a card tonight so I can play my gifted game with friends and family so I picked up the XFX RX 5700 XT RAW II. I am sure I will be happy with it even though deep down inside I know what I really wanted was the Thicc III Ultra... oh well. Hahaha!! Included are a couple of pictures of my EVGA Sli cards before & their XFX replacement as evidence to my situation.

Installed it in my system due to my Vega 56 going bad. Very nice card, runs 1440p in the games I play without issue, and at more stable frame rates than my vega 56.

I upgraded from at EVGA GTX 1070 to this and I love it! From everything I’ve looked up it said that it wouldn’t be worth the upgrade. I currently am getting 30-50 more FPS from all the games I play. A lot of reviews say the card also runs really hot averaging around 80-90c. I believe those are from stress tests and not actually in game results cause mine is averaging 64c pretty steady. I love this card! It is a great mid-range card for the money

I have a decent gaming rig, set up with a R9 390 that's lasted me since it has come out. I purchased the new Call of Duty on Thanksgiving as it was a good deal, well even though my computer met and exceeded the min specs, it didn't work, so I bought this as my GPU was the only thing maxed. Of course I got this card on black friday, but the next day it goes on sale for $369.99, super disappointing. Anyways, the card itself is great and I would recommend it as it is the equivalent of the 2070 super for much cheaper.

This card performs great at stock settings and even better with a simple change to fan curve, and it never gets too loud. I had owned the MSI 5700 Mech OC before this card. That card also worked great but it the fans were much louder and the card ran harder to stay cooler. The MSI variant at load would produce noise mimicking a small vacuum cleaner hiding inside my case, this card at full load is barely half of that noise. I swapped that for this card and have had not thermal issues since.

This is a very good card for the price. The fans are very quiet under most operations, when the card does reach higher temps the fans do get rather loud (vacuum cleaner loud). It had no trouble playing games, drivers 19.11.3 were stable and had no crashing/stuttering/black screens. I can recommend this card to anyone on a budget. If you are limited to purchasing through best buy, this card or the XFX Thicc 3 Ultra are the best options available. If you can buy elsewhere go with a Sapphire Nitro Pulse, Power color Red Devil or Gigabyte 5700xt. All of these options provide better cooling than the Raw II.

Great product-Outstanding customer service. I am a frequent shopper of numerous companies in computer supplies-this is by far one of the best. I had some bumps in my purchase, and Mark from XFX made sure he handled it quickly and professionally. This is a nice change from other companies; I had many run-ins with companies who do not care about the customer. It is a welcomed change that I found in XFX.

Bought card, installed card. I didnt realize the fans werent spinning. Researched why, Drivers on the first batch didnt have the upgraded drivers out of the factory. Theres a fix where you restart and completely power off the computer and it will fix itself after about 2-3 restarts. Just download the new bios for the GPU on their website and it should fix it. Ive yet to do it, but it is said to correct it. If you dont youll burn your GPU up at over 100C.

This card just came out on the market and i was excited and bought it but after installing it, It crashed after playing games for like 2 hours.. many say its not compatible with some computers or windows 10.. i don't know but it kept on giving me the blue screen to the point i cant even turn on my computer anymore coz it just keeps on restarting due to an error But when it starts with no error i can play games for about 2 hours straight then it would give me the blue screen error again.. I tried to update and uninstall and re install the driver again but still no luck it just kept on crashing so i returned it and went with the EVGA Rtx 2070 ultra instead. It's a bit more pricey for about the same performance but it saved me the headache now im happy.. no more annoying blue screen..

Disclaimer: My 5700 XT is paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X and 16 GBs of RAM. Pros: - Very good performance. Runs modern titles very well. I tested titles such as Monster Hunter: World, Dishonored 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Apex Legends. All of them ran at a reliable 60+ FPS at 1080p. All titles were on max settings, of course. - Good value. For 400 dollars, you are getting a very solid card. This card competes with the 2060 Super, and has better performance. The 2070 Super is $100+ more for only a 10-15 FPS boost in most games plus the RTX feature. Not worth it imo, but if you want RTX and have some spare cash, go for it. - Clean aesthetic. Not much else to say, except that it looks clean without any excessive RGB lights. Cons: - Sub-par drivers. The main thing Nvidia has over AMD is the driver support. Hopefully, in time, AMD drivers will deliver better optimization. - Size. This card is huge. Its easily the biggest card I've ever owned. It has only two fans, but the card itself is thick, ironically thicker than the "THICC" branded XFX 5700 XT cards. - Thermals. This may be due to not-so-great driver support from AMD, but for how big this card is, it runs a bit hot. Adjusting the fan settings in the AMD software is a must. After that, it runs acceptably, and the fans are not that loud at all. - No RTX. Obviously, the biggest difference between this card and its Nvidia competitors is the lack of RTX. If Ray Tracing isn't that big of a deal for you, then great. If it is, then buy a 2060 Super. It's the same price as a 5700 XT, but with a 10-15% performance cut and RTX. The main thing holding this card back is AMD's subpar driver support causing problems (at time of reviewing) and its questionable thermals. This card blackscreened on me once, but after that, I've had no issues. Overall, a great card whose problems can hopefully be ironed out in time.

This is a good video card for the price. I am sure there are many better ones but for the price it’s doing great. Running GTA 5 and COD modern warfare with no problems.

This card was a HUGE upgrade to my 6g 1060, finally able to enjoy gaming at 1440p at a solid 60FPS on maxed out settings! Worth the buy

It’s outperforms the reference cards and that’s all I wanted. Fans are very loud at 100%, but it’s default is only 50% at max temp.

Absolute monster of a performer. It’s able to handle so much that I’m reinstalling older AAA titles just to see them with every graphic setting maxed out. Worth every penny.
