This is an excellent product for what it is. It's well made and should last a person for MANY years. It has the encoders/decoders for a person to watch any videos and do most work. Having said all that this GPU at the beginning of 2023 is about 4 generations old. Because of that this is better as a replacement GPU in an old build, or to save money buying a graphics card. Because of that I put a cap at about one fifty. If it's more than that there are probably better options and really it's better if it's under that point to be a good value option. It can deal with older games but it's not going to stand up to newer titles with rare exception unless you turn quality settings down to the lowest point. So, it's not really a gaming GPU but it can play older games, and it can do pretty much anything else because it's a DX12 GPU (not DX12 Ultra) and can work with any of the older APIs along with Vulkan. It can do light work with video editing, but it's not for a person who creates content on a regular basis. You'd want a newer product for that Once again it's a budget product. If it's not in a budget price range it's not worth it

Decent card, doesn't support ray tracing but good enough to play anything prior to 2020

I bought this card to replace the anemic on-board Dell R9 370 in a XPS 8900 chassis. The card works great with Windows 10 19H1 and 20H1, but there are two caveats - first, you can set the built-in 'video card brace' aside, it's too narrow to fit this card - second, the card has a 8-pin PCI power plug, and comes with a 8-pin to dual 6-pin adapter cable, which is a good thing because the XPS 8900 has two 6-pin PCI power plugs on its video power cable and they BOTH must be plugged into the XFX's adapter cable to power this card - it took me two tries to figure that out, because no documentation I could find told me about that little gotcha. All that said, the card has more than enough capability to drive a 27 or 34 inch Dell Ultrasharp monitor at full resolution with perfect clarity.

Ive always wanted this Rx580, even though Im primarily nVidia, Card was new, looks good in my build, runs as advertised, games fine, runs a little toasty but all AMD cards are a little on the warm side. Love that it has a back plate, 8GB GDDR5 vram. the GTS XXX model looks great. Card has a little bit of weight to it.

Over all for budget, good expense. I would recommend if you are wanting to budget but can wait, save up for another. I bought this for work/ school and has held up for a while. I currently like to run Arma Reforged, and I can barely get to 60 FPS, and NEED to run super low settings. If you are wanting to be able to get by and not worry about visuals, you can do it! Once again, recommend waiting, but good for budget.

Although this is an older card, it still performs well for many eSports titles as well as those older titles one might have in their library / collection. Also it does quite well accelerating graphics using OpenCL in software like Capture One with minimal fuss. Highly recommended for budget setups.

I’m not a heavy gamer, but when I have time I like to play some fps games and this thing crushes graphics on a 1080p screen. If you’re not an enthusiast and need something to play some games with minimal graphics needs, this is the budget card for you.

I bought this card so Adobe programs would run better on my computer. It does a great job at that. Friends of mine have bought this card for their first gaming pc and I have heard from them that it's good for that too.
