Great Budget Graphics Card XFX Radeon RX580.

I was using onboard graphics before installing this card. I've seen over triple the FPS performance in certain games. Overall I am more than satisfied with this card.

Works well on an older computer It's actually better than the graphics card I originally had which had struggles running baldur's gate. Sometimes this one has no problem running baldurs gate 3. I will 10 out of 10. Recommend this to my friends

Daughter was unable to play Red Dead 2 without being on lowest settings before but with this card she can play with settings on medium to high.

Driver issues for the 580

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i've had nothing but problems with this 580, the drivers need some work, i dont know if its just me but, windows updates always bricks the radeon software even if you do them before hand, windows will replace the 580 drivers automatically and your back at square one with outdated drivers! also the fans spin up to 100% for a few seconds when the pc wakes from sleep or restarts. my 1060/1650 do not do this. also runs hot due to capped fan speed at 50% unless you set a fan curve manually through msi afterburner.

Better than the pre-installed card

This was recommended to us by the employee at Best Buy so we bought it and installed it. Then we noticed it was an 8 slot powered device and it native power supply was 15 pins so we bought a conversion cord and squeezed the video card in our tiny computer. It fit and then we plugged in the power, started up the computer, download the drivers, set it up, and now our PowerPoints and video displays work wonderfully, even clearer than before and with smoother transitions. Recommend is your computer will fit the board. O

The one thing that trips people up is the dual bios. You might notice the little switch by the 6 pin connector. With power off, flip it towards the 6 pin and the gaming bios are selected, flip it away and it is pre-configured for btc mining. No noticeable lag, unless you're SUPER competitive. Win11 can be a brat with it though, constantly trying to install their driver. Shut off that option in Windows, and if it still won't play nice, just install the drivers but not the software.
