Got this GPU for a restore build of a Gigabyte AB350N Gaming Wifi MB. I run it in Linux Mint and play Steam games such as Tomb Raider and Halo with solid 60 FPS and high 1% lows. It pairs nicely with the Ryzen 5 5500. It even plays Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West at Medium settings smoothly.

Full size graphics card, works great IF you have at least a 600 watt power supply and you're not driving power to additional components. Research showed the need for at least 300 watts just for the card and the computer we wanted to use it in had a total of 175 watts on board, the 500 watt power supply was enough, initially, but we found lags in mouse and keyboard response as gaming went on. Didn't create excessive heat or not operate, just sucked all the juice it could find. The driver install was easy from a downloaded executable, everything went as the directions stated. Impressive graphics on the 4K display, just a power hog so be forewarned.

My first GPU

This was the first GPU I used in my first PC build, and even in 2023 it is still solid, especially if you just want a PC right now and don't care for spending time to get more money for better cards. I can play GTA 5 (turn off VSync) on low graphics at 120+ FPS, most other games would have you run low-mid graphics with this card, but it gives you great FPS. Wasn't my first pick, but it does its job.
This is 100% a better alternative to integrated graphics.
BUT, the drivers are terrible. Certain games would have you do technical stuff with your drivers which is really annoying. CoD for example (I'm using Battle.net) has me get a driver update that I can't even get.

Depending on what your are trying to do it may be okay yet. The card itself is well made and functions well. It is an older card and for a little more money you will probably habe a better experience with the 3050 but if this is all your budget allows for then it should get the job done for now. I play occasional gamesand nothing that is real demanding on a graphics card and it works for me but make sure the games you want to play will work before purchasing. I did have a bit of trouble getting drivers to work correctly … I kept losing audio at first with my setup but playing around with what drivers I had installed took care of the issue. I think if this is what your budget allows and make sure that your task and games will work before purchasing you will be pretty satisfied but this card is getting a bit dated for modern task and games so keep that in mind.

I bought this card on sale while building a PC for my lady. Included some free PC games we would have bought anyway. The Radeon wattman software gives you total control of the cards power, fans, and memory settings. Factory settings run most of our games at 1080p on high or ultra settings well over 60fps. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a decent card with freesync, interested in the included games, or just upgrades for a PC. Finally, the All black looks great in our builds.

Recently purchased as I needed a budget card to use. Runs great on most games, but dont expect to play it on high settings or for AAA titles to be compatible. Overclocking was somewhat noticeable. I get a consistent 60~ frames at 144 hz. As far as temperatures go and how well it holds up, expect it to be high on most games and higher while overclocking.

This is by no means the best card out there but, for the money, it’s a very good budget performer. I am using it for Microsoft Flight Sim with three monitors and performance is reasonably smooth. Very satisfied at this price. Note: If you are not familiar with high power graphics cards, your computer will need a decent power supply of 550 watts or more and if it doesn’t already have one, you will need to purchase a cable to provide power from the supply to the graphics card.

I know this graphics card is a bit dated in 2023 but I liked that it has 8GB to play with and I’m not playing the latest and greatest games at maximum settings with some supercooled thunder pc. I’ve got this card in an egpu enclosure that connects to a mini pc. It’s good enough to get some awesome performance! The only recent game I’ve tried it out with is Age of Empires 4 (released in 2021) on max settings and it doesn’t even blink.
Maybe down the road I’ll consider ray tracing but at the moment, I’m loving what this card powers.

This card work as described what a treat !!!!! No issues with card or install, but had performance issues. Talked with Best Buy rep and then AMD Radeon tech support, coming to the conclusion my power supply was just not strong to let the card run at full rate. Removed old 500watt supply and installed a 800 watt supply and a pleasure. Running I7 32gb ram 1tb ssd and playing MS Flight Sim 2000 with full graphics pkg. Thanks for support in getting my system running top notch.

I bought this to replace a previous purchase for an XFX RX 580 from Best Buy in 2019. Device does as promised and for 1080p gaming I have no complaints. Warranty process takes a while but XFX does stand by their warranty. They ended up replacing my original purchase with the RX 590.
In regards to Crossfire, the only game it seems to work well with is GTA in full window mode (flickers in windowed mode when crossfired, single card however no flicker).
Highly recommend if you want to be able to play modern games without paying horrible prices (Don't pay more than $240 for this card).

The XFX AMD Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition 8GB offers good performance at its price point of $120.
This is not a high-end card but can it handles AAA titles at 1080p. The dual-fan cooling system keeps temperatures in check, but it can get a bit noisy under heavy load. The card's design is sleek, and it supports modern features like FreeSync. Overall, a reliable choice for mid-range gaming, though newer models like RX 6600 might offer better value in today's market.

This is an excellent bang for the buck kind of card. After putting together a new system, it had been ages since I had to purchase a new video card. My research kep coming back to this one as a best value. I am able to run Far Cry 6 at all the highest settings combined with 64gb system RAM and a XEON X-2135 processor. The only issue I've had is that I can't seem to get it recognized by Photoshop CS4.
