Initially built a gaming PC for my son with a G series i5 since it was nearly impossible to get a new GPU for MSRP.
Before:
PC would run most games on low to medium custom settings at 30-60FPS, with most of the bells and whistles off or at low. Trying to use OBS for recording would make some games really stutter and recording quality was low.
Now:
Games can be ran at highest settings, with the bells and whistles on and easily maintain 60FPS in most cases, and some games run at 90-100FPS, OBS quality is good and gameplay has no stutter or delay.
If you've built a gaming PC in the last 2-3 years, without a GPU(integrated graphics) this is a "No Brainer" you are without a doubt going to see a major difference in performance,
Software is pretty straightforward as well. Overclocking, fan settings, memory etc. We haven't done any overclocking as it doesn't seem necessary at the moment. This is pushing 1080-1440p HDR 175Mhz panels no problem.
My personal computer is an iMac, I only use the PC for Velocidrone and OBS/editing video and it is night and day. Outside of adding more RAM, SSD and maybe the processor as time goes on, I"m confident this rig will run another 2-4 years with no issues.
This was well worth price, and can be found on sale. In the words of my son "Oh this thing a beast now!'
The actual only downside was having to open up the PC case and route the cables etc. and fitting it in while leaving all my other hardware in. Not a big deal really if you built the rig. After that though, smooth as butter.

I'm not a heavy gamer, or even one that is constantly processing video files, so I didn't need the top of the line video card to go into my Razer Core X eGPU set up for my 2018 macbook pro.
This has worked flawlessly with my combo and the games that i play. Mostly LoL, some Dota2. I don't need to have the highest graphics settings as i'm not a hardcore gamer.
so far, everything works great, set up was easy, and i've got no issues so far. For the price, you could get a used one for probably 50 or so less due to these GPU being previously used for mining coins. I didn't want to chance it, and it wasn't going to break the bank. Value-wise, still not the best, considering how old these are now.

At one point it was the best bang for the buck at 1080p.
This card does very well at 1080p and the price ( even for best buy ) is right on point. I paid $129 for this card in 2023. For a new card, thats not bad.
8 gig GDDR5 and good clock speed, this card does 1080p very well.
This card is also easily over clocked if you know what your doing. You can make it run like a 2060

For a mid tear video card it performs quit well, big upgrade from the 4 gig version I had. For last 15 years I've always bought my video cards from Best buy, and have never been disappointed. Thanks Best buy for helping me continue to be able to upgrade my PCs hassle free.

AMD always a reasonable choice

I've used AMD/ATI products since I built my first computer in the 90's. Since I mainly do hobby photographic/videographic projects, I haven't needed all the hundreds of frames per sec of current gameology or 4K theatrical masterpieces and since the battles of Nvidia/AMD technology over the years have been back and forth with first place honors, I've stuck with what I'm comfortable with. If you choose either--on a non-professional scope--you can't go wrong.
With that said and since this unit does have a port for older monitors (DVI) and 3 DP and 1 HDMI connection, it covers the gamut for what I do. Serious 120FPS gamers . . . maybe spending $600-1000 (just about as much as a computer costs!) would be the better choice though this one can hold its own for lesser games.
If you are a pro graphics/video user, since Nvidia products with their CUDA system seems to be a requirement for many features, you might want to look in that direction. But for the casual user like me . . . this works well enough and reliably.

Not only am I behind pleased with the graphics card, the store employee who has my order ready was kind and personable, fast and ready. They asked if I had any questions about return, warranty or anything else I needed. They offered to answer any and all questions, and though they were completely business oriented, they didn't make me feel like it was all about money. They actually made me feel like customer service was important and that my satisfaction was her goal. Stellar experience, ticked all the food boxes and none of the bad. Superlative employees at this store, not only this time, but every time I have made a purchase. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

So i built a computer for a friend that is a console only player. I didn't have much money to spend for a gpu. This was perfect. If you have a friend that plays PS4 last gen games then, this gpu will work for you.

Good graphics card for the price, although it does run a bit hot, and I have had a few crashes when running multiple simultaneous streams. I wen online and saw that's an occasional issue for RX 580 cards in general, not just this particular brand.
