For the last couple of years I've been console gaming and my PC was just using integrated Intel graphics. The 1 or 2 low requirement games I played on PC, did not warrant me having to purchase a dedicated GPU. Especially with the ridiculous GPU prices of the last few years.
Although I'm going to primarily stick with console gaming I figured for the reasonable price of this RX 580, it was worth having. Those 2 games that I still play on PC do look and run much better with the 580.
I've always had Nvidia in the past and I was pleasantly surprised that this 580 does a very nice job at 1080P and the software was also pretty cool. Happy with this purchase.

This is a good GPU for the money. I worked as it should, and so far, it has not slowed down anything.

The XFX RX580 is a great card and has no flaws whatsoever. Although the only issue here was it was a little overpriced

Didnt want to shell out for cutting edge and just wanted to play some old games for nostalgia.
Turns out this card is pretty good even in 2024 and could handle a lot of current gen games smoothly.

Great card, but it's very big and almost covered my SATA ports on my MB. So far is has really performed out of this world.

Initially built a gaming PC for my son with a G series i5 since it was nearly impossible to get a new GPU for MSRP.
Before:
PC would run most games on low to medium custom settings at 30-60FPS, with most of the bells and whistles off or at low. Trying to use OBS for recording would make some games really stutter and recording quality was low.
Now:
Games can be ran at highest settings, with the bells and whistles on and easily maintain 60FPS in most cases, and some games run at 90-100FPS, OBS quality is good and gameplay has no stutter or delay.
If you've built a gaming PC in the last 2-3 years, without a GPU(integrated graphics) this is a "No Brainer" you are without a doubt going to see a major difference in performance,
Software is pretty straightforward as well. Overclocking, fan settings, memory etc. We haven't done any overclocking as it doesn't seem necessary at the moment. This is pushing 1080-1440p HDR 175Mhz panels no problem.
My personal computer is an iMac, I only use the PC for Velocidrone and OBS/editing video and it is night and day. Outside of adding more RAM, SSD and maybe the processor as time goes on, I"m confident this rig will run another 2-4 years with no issues.
This was well worth price, and can be found on sale. In the words of my son "Oh this thing a beast now!'
The actual only downside was having to open up the PC case and route the cables etc. and fitting it in while leaving all my other hardware in. Not a big deal really if you built the rig. After that though, smooth as butter.

Works better than it's peers and a very good price. Only thing that would beat the price for performance would be a refurbished higher end gpu, like a 2060 or a 3060ti

Very good graphics card and got it for an amazing price. Even with it being an older card it still packs a punch and is a huge upgrade from the 1050ti I was using before. Definitely reccomend this for people who are looking for a good card for not that much money.

Great deal! I picked one up for a backup GPU at work while I replace the water pump in my 1080ti hybrid. Does everything I need.
