Fantastic AMD video card

Mediocre for everybody else

I can't speak to its technical specifications for those purposes. It works very smoothly with one or two 4K screens (it has a LOT of ports) and doesn't require an awful lot of energy. But I suspect that the Intel UHD graphics included with my i7 would do just fine with the quotidian tasks for which I use this computer. AMD updates the driver every few weeks—which is nice in some respects and annoying in others. At least they pay attention to their customers post-sale. However...every few months it seems I have to go back to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and reinstall AMD software all over again because the driver suddenly doesn't work at all. I don't like that. Maybe gamers feel like that's a good use of their time...I don't. TL;DR: I haven't become a gamer since I bought this, and so every time I look at it taking up space I feel guilty for spending so darn much on something I don't use for all its worth.

Great card

I picked this up on sale after looking at other brands (even my favorite brand). For the features that I was looking for and then the cost, you couldn't beat it. Don't count it out!

Finally can game in 4k without lag!

The card handles the games with ease. A little loud and an energy hog. Best maybe to limit your gaming to 2-3hrs. Or better yet, game away if you live with your parents. Because they pay the bills. Take advantage of your youth before you become an adult and have to pay your own bills.

Budget GPU

Fan is noisy when you boot up, most of the time it's silent unless you're running something very GPU intensive. Power consumption is OK unless it's working hard. Takes 2.5 slots, so "Fatboy" is to be taken literally.
