Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Speedster MERC310's performance and the large amount of VRAM, finding it offers great value for the price. While some users note the card's large size may be incompatible with smaller PC cases, and that ray tracing performance is not as strong as competing products, many appreciate its generally cool and quiet operation. The build quality is also frequently praised.

This card is amazing! If you want a top of the line graphics card for 1440p and 4K this is the card you want. It’s a bit pricey but you’re basically future proofing yourself for years to come. It’s a big card though so make sure you have space.

First AMD GPU I've had in the last 10 years and overall very good pick. Had a 2080Ti which kicked the bucket so I had to pick this thing up. Gets around 120-200 fps at max settings @ 2k for the games I play which is a very slight bump from that 2080Ti, however the huge bump in VRAM over its Nvidia counterparts makes a massive difference for those poorly optimized games and anything with a large number of high res loaded assets (looking at you star citizen & ark). Your experience will vary since Nvidia has better optimization for some games, but AMD has the raw horsepower & price point that makes them a much better alternative IMO. I did run into some artifacting during their Nov '24 driver update in a couple games (the Crew Motorfest & Cyberpunk) but the driver was ridiculously easy to roll back. It did take a couple months to get a stable driver update without these issues which I never experienced with Nvidia and it looks like this is semi common for AMD drivers so keep that in mind. Only reason for the 4 star is I bought this card for $720 MSRP in August '24 but it's now $930... Highly recommend getting one of these used or waiting for a deep discount so you don't get hit with the inflationary cost.

Solid piece card and can handle pretty much everything I can throw at it. It is HUGE so please keep that in mind if upgrading into a similar case. Does not use a 12v but still a power hog.

Made the best decision buying this over 4070 ti super. Cheaper and faster. I initially bought this when price was $819.99 then a week after I saw price dropped to $749.99. Contacted customer service via text message didn't even last 10 minutes and they refunded me $75 for the price match. It has been a month and this card hasn't given me any headache. How I wish I could have gotten the RX-79TMERCB9 with $30 difference but I was in need of a GPU at the time and my local Bestbuy only had this in stock. This card can run anything 1440p ultra settings over 144 fps and about 58-60 fps 4k ultra settings with the right system. (Stock) I would definitely recommend this product for folks who doesn't want to spend over $1000 for a GPU.

Awesome card! Huge upgrade over my 980 ti sc. I primarily play 1440p. At 4k I'm able to easily get 80fps with setting at max. The only game I've came across that plays at 30fps is Alan wake 2 due to the ray tracing. Card was a steal at 729 dollars. Would be nice if bestbuy stocked the 7900 xtx.

Built a brand new PC this Christmas and decided to go with all AMD build. This GPU was a major upgrade from my 2080 super in terms of performance in all areas like gaming and overall pc use. The gpu looks great, performs better, and is very quiet. I was nervous about changing from NVidia to AMD but it has been a seamless transition. The software is easy to use and very similar to NVidia. I would highly recommend this card to any high end pc build.

A hi end future proof card that performs at 4K level, allowing 144 fps in AAA games, no drivers issues, reliable and solid. Software is great, turning options are great as well. It is a power hungry unit so make sure you PSU is up to snuff, (340W at 100%). Thanks, Best Buy!

This card is one of the best values on the market today for a "reasonable" price. It scores twice as high in my games as my old 3060 ti and is very close (some benchmarks higher) than a 4080. Seems well built, runs totally quiet until running games and even then is fairly quiet and actually runs cooler than my old 3060 ti. It IS a large and long card and needs a decent sized case. I DO recommend this card for gaming and graphics work.

Amazing deal on a 20 GB card, after installing, setting it up and using it for a few weeks. So far so good. This card is a beast. It’s less than half the price of the nvidia cards and all you have to do is tweak some of the settings. You’d be a fool not to give it a shot.

Absolute monster of a GPU. I have been team green for almost 2 decades and decided to give AMD a try after reading the specs. By far a better buy than a RTX 4070 TI Super. Most games I have played I'm hitting my 34" Ultra Wide 2k max refresh rate on max settings. If you don't need max ray tracing or g-sync save some money and get this beast!

So, I recently got my hands on the AMD Radeon RX 7900, and let me tell you, it's like strapping a turbo engine onto your gaming experience! Picture this: a boost clock speed of 2535MHz and a base clock speed up to 1810MHz making games look better than ever across all my gaming platforms. The 20GB memory onboard? It's like having a canvas for striking visuals—everything just pops! Plus, compatibility with Windows and Linux means it's a friend to all systems. And the features? Oh boy, it's not just about visuals. From AMD FidelityFX making images razor-sharp to diving into the VR world seamlessly, this card's got you covered. It's not just a card; it's a whole new way to experience gaming. I'm sold!

Upgraded from a 6700xt to this 7900xt and wow the difference is amazing. Very large card but comes with a nice anti-sag bracket. Havent found a game that makes it stutter at 1440P yet.

I went to the store looking for the 7900 XTX, but the only GPU they had was this one. I was going to leave but decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Important to note that this MERC310 iteration of the 7900xt is larger than the standard AMD unit, so before you buy it make sure it will fit inside your case. I paired this up with a new i7 build, and the gaming experience is mind blowing! No need to spend over $2000 for the huge brick from the other guys. This GPU is crisp and solid, and I highly recommend it for serious gaming.
