The card, just like 7900 xt, is massive. I have it installed in a CoolerMaster Storm Stryker and can almost use the drive bays as anti-sag bracket. The card is a beast though. On the games I play I've seen power draw upwards of 389W, I haven't flipped to the performance bios yet. My temps have been roughly 79 degrees on the hot spot. I had a rtx 2080 and a 5th gen intel processor before. Now I'm running this card and a 5800x. Such a major improvement in FPS. Playing God of War at 3440x1440 I can average over 110 FPS. Though I wish the card was a bit more power efficient and cheaper, I love it. Unfortunately I feel that GPU's are going to become our desktops. (Both size wise and Pricing)

I'm shocked with this beast's performance. If you have a high refresh-rate, low latency 1440p monitor, then you'll be blown away by the smoothness this card delivers. (Mind you, I'm also one of those people that never turned on ray-tracing, even when using an Nvidia card - I just think ray tracing looks bad and overly-distracting.) I'm also shocked with how quiet it is. I was expecting significant noise, based on other reviews, but it's actually much quieter than both of my Nvidia 30-series cards. There's no coil whine that I can tell either. The support bracket is pretty nice - it's very solid, very stable; There's no video card sag, and I can't make it wobble, even if I try. The only caveats - make sure you have a really good power supply, and make sure you have enough available physical real-estate in your rig. I had to entirely remove one of the rear cable management brackets in my Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh to get the card to fit. The only downside - the price. I'm a bit resentful about what video card manufacturers have convinced the market is a reasonable price, even for top-end cards such as this one. The silver lining is that Best Buy is pretty good about price-matching to competitors' sale prices.

Great graphics card! Been a really good speed boost from my RTX 3080. Definitely requires more power.. fans seem to keep the beast cooled really well. I do like Nvidia control panel and software better but for the price for this card I can put up with the AMD suite.

Overall a great card and great performance. My card does have some coil wine but once the fans kick in from my case and gpu it’s not noticeable. If you want ray tracing this may not be the card you want to get but for just raw performance it’s great and looks very clean. CHECK YOUR CASE SIZE. This card is massive

After spending plenty of time gaming on this card in addition to all the other components I've gotten as a part of this system I can happily say I have no regrets purchasing this card the time I did. It appears that the majority of kinks that this card had at its inception have been resolved to a great extent. Not only that but its performance relative to its competitor is fantastic and for a much more accessible price (as accessible as a on average $1k card can be at this time). Truly I believe this card will get me through the next couple years and hold up even better than the old 1070ti that I've had on my previous system.

What a wonderful piece of technology!!! As Im not a computer genius or a video encoding master, I’ll sum it up from my perspective. I dont have a lot of free time, but I have managed to learn how to build and maintain a home desktop computer over the past few years. I say that because I started building my baby in Jan 2021 with spare parts, and finished it off in Jan 2024 after adding the final component I had been wanting all along, the 7900XTX. Just like buying a new sports car, I took it to the extreme right off the bat by maxing out settings on RE4 Remake, RE Village, MSFS 20, Minecraft, and others. ALL these were tested on an 85” 4K Samsung TV, running at 3840x2160 with settings maxed. Also, ray tracing was turned on for all these as well, just to see “what it could do.” As a summation on the results, all these games were gorgeous with meticulous detail and beautiful lighting. HOWEVER, RT does have a tendency to bring your FPS down to about 20-30 on this card with these settings as NVIDIA takes the win with all things RT. Doesnt matter, thats not what the card was made for, it was designed with enough RAM to make it future proof likely for the next 6-8 years. With RT off, your games are still likely to like better than anything most have seen while averaging about 60FPS for these titles. How could Minecraft look any better you say?? While I do not currently have video documentation of this cards capabilities, if you Youtube “Patrix Minecraft Textures” you will see the true nature of this beast of a video card. So if you can find it, I absolutely do recommend the 7900XTX if you dont have anything else better to do with your money. But fair warning, if you own the most recent gen game console, it will likely become a simple decoration piece once you see what youve been missing your whole life with this card.

I've had this GPU for almost 2 years now and love it. Performs great in everything I've thrown at it. It's a bit power hungry when gaming but well worth it. Temps stay nice and cool as well. Highly recommend picking one up if you're looking for a new graphics card.

After almost 2 years of using the 7900xtx i've been in love with the graphics card. Never had any problems, was always cool, and the FPS I've gained on my system is amazing. I don't have too many issues other than AMDs update but overall I don't update my GPU too often due to the nature of games that I play aren't new releases most of the time.

Absolute monster of a card. Performance Example w/ 7800x3d & 32 gb of 6000 mhz ddr5: Running division 2 @: 1440p (165 hz) , maxed out settings , 16.2 gb vram in use, 95% gpu useage, avg. Temps ~60 c ( hotspot 73 c), 3,092 mhz w/ gpu overclocked. **FPS = 205.7 average**. Handles every single demanding AAA with ease. Does ray tracing reasonably well in cyberpunk (all effects on and @ medium), but impressive nonetheless, considering its much cheaper than its 4080 competitor. It is power hungry - the aforementioned performance drew 400 - 430 watts of board power. Additionally, it requires 3 8-pin connectors. Anyways, coming from a 6800xt - it is an excellent upgrade. Get it!

I was pleasantly surprised by this card. Got it on sale, and it actually beats my FE RTX 4080 in terms of FPS when playing starfield on my 1440p 34” ultrawide - and that’s with the DLSS mod installed and using a 13900k, while the 7900xtx is paired with a 13700k. Granted that game favors AMD but I expected the DLSS mod to correct that. The only semi-downside is that this is a BIG card. When using the included support bracket, I actually had to use low profile fans in the front of my case (4000D Airflow) to get the necessary clearance. Otherwise it’s great - temps are solid too (for AMD) - usually don’t break 80 at the hotspot

It's a shame AMD isn't aiming for the high end for its' next gen graphics because they're all in for frame generation, which I'm against. But because they went in for high this gen, we get this 7900 XTX. This thing can definitely take on 4k at high settings and you should be fine. If you target 120hz @ 4k you should be fine for a while. All the while, the XFX version of this card, for me, stays cool, around 72C which means it's doing its' job at removing the heat from the die and transferring it to the case. Which can be bad if you have an air cooled cpu or top exhaust water cooled cpu. Bonus though, you get a free heater while you play games. This card alone will actively heat up my room from 72F to 80F in a matter of 30 mins to 1 hour. It's insane lol. And crashes still exist for AMD unfortunately. Not often, but like once a week if you play daily. OVERALL, I'm happy enough with the cards performance. And I at one point had a 4090 but had to get rid of it for other reasons.

Its really big and heavy, so use the bracket it comes with not a plastic gpu holder. Its not silent and its not annoying you will know when its working hard. But with all that said it plays anything you want as long as your pc specs are up to the task. Its expensive unless you catch a sale like now. You wont be wondering if my pc can play that game on ultra settings anymore.

This card is both an upgrade and replacement for me. While most people upgrade their GPUs after quite a number of years (depending on budget, etc.), I purchased this card after owning a 5700 XT (Red Devil) since a few months after launch. While that isn't very long, my 5700 XT basically died on me (long story short, I got a lemon and it was a pain every day after the first 6 months or so). While I won't go too much into performance, as there are countless graphs you can examine and compare with other cards, I can safely say this card is absolutely smoking in every possible positive way! If you are interested in getting this card, or just a 7900XTX in general, do it. My experience has quite literally been flawless (not even any driver issues, which I had a terrible time with my previous card). I was afraid I had the AMD curse from my last card, but my fears held no water. I can't tell you how happy I am about this card in everything from performance to aesthetics. In fact, I think pictures nor videos truly do this card justice, particularly in the department of build quality. I know PowerColor (who made my Red Devil) is a good company, and they have great customer service, but after these past few years, I'm probably gonna stick with XFX.

I bought this gpu back in May of 2023, and I must say, this is the best quality gpu you can get for under $1,200. This is my first AMD gpu, and it won't be my last. I run every game at max settings on a beefy AM5 system with no problem at all. The gpu is so quiet that I put a mirror under the card to make sure the fans were working. That being said, the temperature stays cool even under intense loads. It's very rare for this cards temperature to exceed 62C.

Solid build quality, fast and runs very cool and only uses about 220W when undervolted and clock limited to 2400MHz. Beware this card is extemely long with the Z-bar installed and even with a huge Lian Li mesh case I only has about a quarter inch to spare. I got this for $1079 a while back and have seen it here for $1049 often which is a great deal.

Faster than the 3080ti I had before. Synthetic benchmarks improved around 35 percent, and my framerates are much better at staying above 60fps on a 5120 by 1440 display. Downside is ray tracing performance is not as good, although that's not a big deal to me. Also I feel like FSR is not as good/clea- looking as DLSS, but it doesn't bother me as much as my framerates struggling to stay above 60 in certain titles. No problems with drivers or anything, card runs quiet and install was easy. One thing to note though, make sure you have three 8 pin power connectors available from your PSU because this card requires it.

i purchased this 6 months ago after doing my research between keeping on the nvidia train or switching to amd and im not disappointed! i purchased this to replace my old gtx1070 that was trustworthy for many years. with a bit of tweaking the merc310 is a beast. mine holds constant clocks of 3000mhz and boosts up to 3200 at times with very stable power draw on a liquid cooler. i play most games at 4k ultra at 120+ fps depending on the title. this card is a great card for performance and for the price. definitely recommended.

Amazing value, just the usual caveats of using an AMD graphics card. Games perform crazy well on it, but just keep in mind what your use-case is when buying a graphics card. If you're doing any kind of AI work, don't even bother with AMD. Nvidia's software stack and CUDA support makes AMD cards entirely irrelevant to anyone doing AI stuff, but if you're just gaming, then I would 100% recommend this card. AMD's drivers are way better than they used to be, but you'll still notice some brand new games crash and not behave properly until a patch/driver update.

Picked the worst time to build a second PC and got tired of trying to get an RTX 50 series card. Went from an RTX 3090 to this and a nice upgrade averaging 30-40 more fps with the exact same settings in Cyberpunk 2077

This turned out to be the best purchase ive made in a while. Its a huuuge card though, but luckily i had the space for it and havent had a single issue when it comes to gaming. I used to have overheating issues with my old vega 64s in crossfire...but this actually runs in a great temp range. Ive run just about every AAA game on it withoit issue....this includes the Last of Us and The Callisto Protocol. Despite the optimization issues facing those games, they run pretty smoothly!
