Value Beast
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card comes with a support bracket, which makes the card slightly longer. I was building in a 4000D airflow so I had to offset one of the fans on the front of my pc for the card to fit properly. Despite cards being lengthy in the generation, this card performs as expected. A value Beast with excellent performance and cooling. I Have no issue maxing out my M27Q-P @ 1440p 165 Fps. So far I have tested New World and God of War maxed settings. I do have it connected to my 50 inch X90J with the intent to try 4k 120 at a later time. Davinci Resolve runs smoothly and Amd 's capture software is as good as other software for content streaming. All in all. I recommend this purchase to anyone who is looking to upgrade.

Excellence!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending plenty of time gaming on this card in addition to all the other components I've gotten as a part of this system I can happily say I have no regrets purchasing this card the time I did. It appears that the majority of kinks that this card had at its inception have been resolved to a great extent. Not only that but its performance relative to its competitor is fantastic and for a much more accessible price (as accessible as a on average $1k card can be at this time). Truly I believe this card will get me through the next couple years and hold up even better than the old 1070ti that I've had on my previous system.

Good upgrade from 3080ti
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Faster than the 3080ti I had before. Synthetic benchmarks improved around 35 percent, and my framerates are much better at staying above 60fps on a 5120 by 1440 display. Downside is ray tracing performance is not as good, although that's not a big deal to me. Also I feel like FSR is not as good/clea- looking as DLSS, but it doesn't bother me as much as my framerates struggling to stay above 60 in certain titles. No problems with drivers or anything, card runs quiet and install was easy. One thing to note though, make sure you have three 8 pin power connectors available from your PSU because this card requires it.

Great card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is a beast that will crush anything you throw at it. I have a 2k ultrawide monitor, and I consistently get over 100 fps in most AAA titles with ultra settings (no upscaling or frame generation) and over 240 fps in esports titles. 10/10 worth the upgrade.

One of the better AIB RX 7900 XTX
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As always great price and fast shipping from Best Buy. This hands down is one of the better AIB RX 7900 XTX cards. No you don't get crazy RGB but with the massive heatsink, triple fans, and vapor chamber you get very good cooling. The black and silver colorway and really robust black plate gives the card a muscle car look. The card is absolutely massive so please measure your case beforehand. The card has a BIOS switch which allows for more power and it requires three PCIE 8 pin cables. I found my 7900 XTX easily overclocked to 3079 Mhz, however I found the fans once overclocked to be insanely loud. When not overclocked the card was audible but nothing insane. If you are installing the card horizontally XFX has provided a brace which looks really good. I found the RX 7900 XTX to be 10%-15% faster on average compared to a RTX 4080 Super at 4K and 20% or less than a RTX 4090. With that said all Radeon cards pale in comparison to NVIDIA in Ray Tracing and I found DLSS to be more well implemented than FSR, so if you need or want those features look to the RTX series, but if you just want pur rasterization that kills 1440P and is a very good 4K card at a great value than this 7900 XTX is amazing.

Lot of power - Lot of card - Lot of performance
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card itself is an absolute beast. It can run anything I throw at it at Ultra graphics. This card performs best at 1080p or 1440p. 4K works, but other cards like the 4080 are better at 4k performance. After most of the driver issues got patched I haven't had any issues with this card. I will say it is definitely a large graphics card. Be sure to check your case size prior to purchase! I did not but managed to remove a front case fan to get this to fit in my case, but by no means was that ideal.

OUTSTANDING!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a wonderful piece of technology!!! As Im not a computer genius or a video encoding master, I’ll sum it up from my perspective. I dont have a lot of free time, but I have managed to learn how to build and maintain a home desktop computer over the past few years. I say that because I started building my baby in Jan 2021 with spare parts, and finished it off in Jan 2024 after adding the final component I had been wanting all along, the 7900XTX. Just like buying a new sports car, I took it to the extreme right off the bat by maxing out settings on RE4 Remake, RE Village, MSFS 20, Minecraft, and others. ALL these were tested on an 85” 4K Samsung TV, running at 3840x2160 with settings maxed. Also, ray tracing was turned on for all these as well, just to see “what it could do.” As a summation on the results, all these games were gorgeous with meticulous detail and beautiful lighting. HOWEVER, RT does have a tendency to bring your FPS down to about 20-30 on this card with these settings as NVIDIA takes the win with all things RT. Doesnt matter, thats not what the card was made for, it was designed with enough RAM to make it future proof likely for the next 6-8 years. With RT off, your games are still likely to like better than anything most have seen while averaging about 60FPS for these titles. How could Minecraft look any better you say?? While I do not currently have video documentation of this cards capabilities, if you Youtube “Patrix Minecraft Textures” you will see the true nature of this beast of a video card. So if you can find it, I absolutely do recommend the 7900XTX if you dont have anything else better to do with your money. But fair warning, if you own the most recent gen game console, it will likely become a simple decoration piece once you see what youve been missing your whole life with this card.

A solid card worth the price!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This turned out to be the best purchase ive made in a while. Its a huuuge card though, but luckily i had the space for it and havent had a single issue when it comes to gaming. I used to have overheating issues with my old vega 64s in crossfire...but this actually runs in a great temp range. Ive run just about every AAA game on it withoit issue....this includes the Last of Us and The Callisto Protocol. Despite the optimization issues facing those games, they run pretty smoothly!

I should have bought this years ago

Great and Long
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A really nice alternative to the 4080/4090. Especially post 4090 to China ban. You just can't find 4090s for less than 2200 dollars, and this at 900-950 is a monster. This card specifically is very well built, like a tank. Feels hefty to the hand compared to my MSI gaming trio 4090 (replaced due to power connector failure). Only problem is the length which could be a deal breaker to some.

Super Happy with my choice
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This video card just keeps getting better with every update. I had the 3060 ti and moved to the 7900 XTX when I saw Starfield was a partner and wow, it delivers. For Sim racing as well on my 49" widescreen, I can get 130+ FPS on 1440 all day, making it buttery smooth for racing. Starfield on the same screen is crazy, the graphics are awesome, but really anything I put this thing through.

Amazing video card - even better than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm shocked with this beast's performance. If you have a high refresh-rate, low latency 1440p monitor, then you'll be blown away by the smoothness this card delivers. (Mind you, I'm also one of those people that never turned on ray-tracing, even when using an Nvidia card - I just think ray tracing looks bad and overly-distracting.) I'm also shocked with how quiet it is. I was expecting significant noise, based on other reviews, but it's actually much quieter than both of my Nvidia 30-series cards. There's no coil whine that I can tell either. The support bracket is pretty nice - it's very solid, very stable; There's no video card sag, and I can't make it wobble, even if I try. The only caveats - make sure you have a really good power supply, and make sure you have enough available physical real-estate in your rig. I had to entirely remove one of the rear cable management brackets in my Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh to get the card to fit. The only downside - the price. I'm a bit resentful about what video card manufacturers have convinced the market is a reasonable price, even for top-end cards such as this one. The silver lining is that Best Buy is pretty good about price-matching to competitors' sale prices.

7900 XTX Power House
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great graphics card! Been a really good speed boost from my RTX 3080. Definitely requires more power.. fans seem to keep the beast cooled really well. I do like Nvidia control panel and software better but for the price for this card I can put up with the AMD suite.

Dont have to worry if you can play maxed out setti
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its really big and heavy, so use the bracket it comes with not a plastic gpu holder. Its not silent and its not annoying you will know when its working hard. But with all that said it plays anything you want as long as your pc specs are up to the task. Its expensive unless you catch a sale like now. You wont be wondering if my pc can play that game on ultra settings anymore.

Best. Upgrade. Ever.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is both an upgrade and replacement for me. While most people upgrade their GPUs after quite a number of years (depending on budget, etc.), I purchased this card after owning a 5700 XT (Red Devil) since a few months after launch. While that isn't very long, my 5700 XT basically died on me (long story short, I got a lemon and it was a pain every day after the first 6 months or so). While I won't go too much into performance, as there are countless graphs you can examine and compare with other cards, I can safely say this card is absolutely smoking in every possible positive way! If you are interested in getting this card, or just a 7900XTX in general, do it. My experience has quite literally been flawless (not even any driver issues, which I had a terrible time with my previous card). I was afraid I had the AMD curse from my last card, but my fears held no water. I can't tell you how happy I am about this card in everything from performance to aesthetics. In fact, I think pictures nor videos truly do this card justice, particularly in the department of build quality. I know PowerColor (who made my Red Devil) is a good company, and they have great customer service, but after these past few years, I'm probably gonna stick with XFX.

Looooooong GPU
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a great card and great performance. My card does have some coil wine but once the fans kick in from my case and gpu it’s not noticeable. If you want ray tracing this may not be the card you want to get but for just raw performance it’s great and looks very clean. CHECK YOUR CASE SIZE. This card is massive

Power house GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this GPU for almost 2 years now and love it. Performs great in everything I've thrown at it. It's a bit power hungry when gaming but well worth it. Temps stay nice and cool as well. Highly recommend picking one up if you're looking for a new graphics card.

High end, feels great and runs great
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arrived in beautiful packaging without any dents, dings, or imperfections. This is my first high end graphics card, and I love it! it feels like an absolute monster in my pc and Its really helped my workflow, I love the 24gb vram. I havent experienced any issues some people complain about (coil whine, and overheating) and my pc runs nearly all day every day. For only $900 its so worth it.
