Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the SPEEDSTER MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 7800XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card's performance, especially its high frame rates at 1440p resolution and good value for the price. Many appreciate its relatively quiet operation and easy installation. However, some users note that the card's large size may require a spacious computer case, and its ray tracing capabilities are not as strong as competing products.

Excellent upgrade from a Gigabyte Aorus 3070 Master. This card suits all of my needs as a photo/video editor. When it comes to gaming, it performs incredibly well. Installation and setup were easy, with no hiccups as I've seen others experience. For the price, I don't think this can be beaten. You should know this card is long, very long. I had no issues fitting it in my Fractal Torrent case, but it's a good idea to check that it will fit in yours. This card stays cool under pressure, no matter what I've thrown at it (so far).

If you're on the fence about the XFX Speedster MERC319 RX 7800XT, stop reading specs and just get it — this card is an absolute beast. I upgraded from an older RX 5700 and the performance leap was night and day. Everything from AAA gaming to video rendering feels buttery smooth. Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra with ray tracing? No problem. Temps stay cool, the fans are whisper quiet, and the build quality feels premium right out of the box. What really impressed me is the design—sleek black, minimalist, and not overly flashy. It looks like it means business, and it performs like it too. Installation was plug-and-play, no hiccups or driver drama. And with 16GB of VRAM, I'm feeling future-proof for a while. XFX knocked it out of the park with this one. For the price point, it’s hard to beat. Whether you're a gamer, creator, or just someone who appreciates high-end tech that doesn't require a second mortgage—this is the card to beat. Would I recommend it? Already have. Twice.

Fast and runs cool and quiet. No burning power connectors either like team green. You need a decent sized case to fit this in, as it is a beast. Using a Fractal Design Pop Air case, there's plenty of room left, but this is a spacious case, so plan accordingly. I would also recommend an GPU anti-sag bracket or something since this is a bit heavy.

Excellent 1440p card - Go Team Red!

Having used a RX 6600 for a couple of years, upgrading to a 7800xt was a highly anticipated upgrade. For around 500 dollars (or 460 when on sale), you will be getting a high-range 1440p card, or a 4K medium card. The AI summary for this card says people had concerns with the weight and side. Yes, it is heavy and definitely bulky. Check the size specifications before purchasing. I would recommend getting a GPU stand, it definitely sags. Pair this with a 750 Watt power supply unit, since the max power draw is 300 watts. My only critique is the lack of documentation inside. In the package are some QR codes, but the install guide is very brief. It would have been nice to know that, on the top near the I/O, there is a switch to put the card in OC mode, which boosts performance. Until I was told this, I kept wondering why the card was underperforming in games and tests. Not a Best Buy problem, but a manufacturer one.

Runs great, easily runs newer titles like Spiderman remastered at 1440p with Ray tracing on high at an avg of 70fps swinging around the city. Love the amount of vram too. 16gb vram is perfect since new games be running around 12gbs or slightly over. Card runs quite and cools well, better than my old rx 6600xt did. Would recommend. Just make sure you have a beefy power supply, mines 850 watts & have 2 connectors for power. Also make sure your case is big enough. Mine just barely squeezed in. XFX did a good job 5/5 .

This gpu has been the best gpu I’ve ever owned. My current pc has a ryzen 5 7600 and a Rx 7800xt. This card allows me to play any game I want at 1440p max settings and can even do some 4k gaming as well. The price is super cheap compared to its Nvidia counterparts and while it doesn’t have the same ray tracing performance as an RTX card, this card makes up for it with its price to performance and VRAM. Overall 10/10 card

Plays games perfectly and does what I want on pretty much all games so far, without going for high end GPU. I would have taken a picture, but the PC does not look like the original way that I bought as prebuilt from Best Buy at all. You would be asking, where did you get that? Yes, this was part of the upgrade from a prebuilt, as ram, case fans, PSU, GPU sag holder. Yes, this GPU sags the first time installing. Had to get sag holder. Biggest GPU I ever had but not saying much because there are bigger like 7900 XTX which comes with a GPU bracket and not this one. There is only one little or hardly at all gripe. Temperatures are a little high but no issues running games. Oh, and stupid me. I forgot to take off plastic film on grey top part until few weeks after. I then also, did not realize until just a while ago about the bottom plastic film not removed but pulled it off while changing CPU air cooler to a AIO watercooler. Otherwise, still great GPU for doing every single game I try, and I use a XBOX PC gamepass. So, I get to try different games. I bought this around same time as black Friday. I got it for $486 plus tax. I would not recommend this for how high it is now. Only saying recommend because how good it is. So, pass on to something else when price is over $600.

This card has been in my PC for 2 years now going strong. Never had a issue with it when coming to drivers and for price to performance, its been nothing short of fantastic! XFX brand has been my go to GPU since I had the RX480 and I plan on still staying with them whenever I upgrade to my next GPU. The only thing i would have to worry about this card is the length. The visual of the card is something i do love as well. Nice black and silver trim can't go wrong in any system. Hopefully my next plan upgrade will be the XFX 7900 XTX. If you'll looking for a powerhouse of a card that plays at 1440p high FPS, i wouldn't look any farther.

Very satisfied with this GPU. It has great value to performance. Every game I have it’s had no problems running at 1440p max settings. Some even played at 4K with no issues. Everything played smoothly and was worth the upgrade from my previous GPU. The 16gb VRAM is a plus for the price. The size of the GPU is pretty large and I think will sag slightly with time. I recommend a GPU support to avoid it from damaging in the future. Overall an amazing GPU and highly recommend it for others who would like to play games at 1440p at high FPS

The XFX Speedster MERC 319 RX 7800 XT offers an impressive balance of performance, cooling, and build quality, making it decent enough for mid to high range gaming. It overclocks/undervolts pretty well, the thermals are solid, and there's little to no coil whine from what I've noticed. After several months of use, I'd definitely recommend this card.

This graphics card is amazing. I bought this and the 4070 at the same time since I had Best Buy Plus. I ran tests on this and the 4070 and this came on top on most except for Ray Tracing. I'd rather have more real frames than generated ones so this was definitely a no-brainer to keep. Top 1440p card indeed.

Before upgrading, I was gaming on a graphics card that stopped being supported by the manufacturer. I specifically chose this one because it has enough VRAM for all the games I’d play, with plenty of room to spare when developers undoubtedly increase VRAM utilization in future titles. Further, it was at a fair price point given the performance it provides, too. The card could look a bit nicer visually, but im confident it will last me another 5+ years.

    Awesome 1440p card!

This is my first AMD card, replacing a 1080 which is an awesome card, but was showing its age. I play at 1440p and have a high refresh rate/freesync monitor. Paired with a 13500k, this card allows me to play at mostly maxed settings in all games I like to play. Day tracing is neat and way better than I was lead to believe based on comparisons to nvidia cards. I play cyberpunk at epic settings with ray tracing and get 66-90 fps, easy. Without, game runs native at buttery smooth 140-165fps. No coil whine so far, looks nice, and the card seems stable and cool and everything I wanted to replace my 1080. Card installed smoothly with zero driver issues. Something to be aware of is how heavy the card is — I’d recommend some sort of gpu support bracket so you don’t sag over time. Overall, I have no regrets and have already had a better experience with ease of use and driver updates than I ever have with my nvidia cards.
