I was a bit leery on purchasing something like this over the internet, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have purchased a system in the past and then needed another 100 plus bucks in parts to make it work. With this interface, the only thing I needed was a small connector harness that cost 14.00. The system works great and now on cold winter mornings I have a nice warm car....and no frost on the windshield. Just remember to turn it all on before you leave the car the night before.

I love this thing. I get to hop into a warm car and I don't even need to brush the snow off my car sometimes because everything has already melted. Super, i mean super easy to use! No issues since I had this installed. Install was super fast and they explained everything! I will talk my family and friends in getting one as its the best $200 you can spend.

This model uses your factory key fob as the remote so you don't need to have excess fobs on your keychain. So range depends on your default factory key fob. I was nervous about the remote start not having a timer or somehow turning the car off. But after about 15 minutes, the car will turn off. And when you get into the car, if you slightly press the gas, the car registers it and deactivates the auto turn off safety feature.

Was a required attachment for the install of my remote start. Install went great and enjoying the remote starting when its 5 below outside.

The next time these are on Deal O the Day, I will buy two more. Although, I would prefer a two way acknowledgement that the vehicle started remotely, the distance this thing has is more than enough for me. You need to test it out, but as long as there is a "clear air" shot, it can start from a long way away. When you are in the mall or airport, go to a window. I am happy.

Vehicle stays locked once remote started and will automatically shut off without key in ignition when you touch the brake so no fear of vehicle being stolen.

My experience starts first with trying to buy the starter on bestbuy.com. I didn't realize there was problems with the website that day. I attempted to book, thought I was unsuccessful as I received no confirmation page or email, so I tried to buy it again. Then I found out I had purchased two starters. When I called customer service, they said, too bad, the order is on the way, you will receive two, just take one back. Then when I called Best Buy to schedule the installation, I was on hold so many times that I finally went to the store. There is only one installer working at this store, so my appointment was 5 weeks out! Then when I finally went for the installation the guy is very grumpy, hardly wants to answer any questions, not very friendly to customers. So even though the starter seems to work well, I don't rate this as a very good experience because the customer service was so terrible from beginning to end!

This module although seemingly expensive is an integral piece of the Viper security/remote start system. It communicates with the vehicle providing a seamless interface so that all of your vehicle functions work with the remote start. Kudos!

Don't know how to tell if this thing goes bad ever, but it's still keeping my remote start going so I think I love this thing. My regular FOB for my 2012 lincoln is still functioning so all seems good so far.

I purchased this item from Best Buy through a special sent via email. I had it installed for free by Best Buy's Geek Squad. No problems at all. The item has worked perfectly every time we have used it.

One of the producs that was required to have to install the remote start and car alarm system on my truck. so far no issues and has been working great.

What a great upgrade to allow for new car starter to operate like it was a factory install. Another item and great install by Best Buy!

I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE INTERFACE MODULE BUT IT CAME WITH MY VIPER AUTO START AND MY VIPER AUTO START IS WORKING AWESOMELY!!! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!

Great range on this remote start. Would recommend to anyone looking for this type of product. The installers at BB were professional and timely as usual.

after a brief hiccup initially (we had to have the fobs reprogrammed), the starter is working great. The technicians were always helpful and friendly despite being very busy this time of year.
