Love this! Easy, versatile, and compact!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an art teacher once tell me 'there is no cheating in art', Sadly I can barely make a stick figure so....enter the Yaber Buffalo U2 Projector! This little machine has an easy start, simple instructions for an easy set us, and amazing results. My goal is to paint landscapes and such on my walls and with this...I can! Simply connect to my phone- pick what I want to paint or draw (or even write- such as little sayings and affirmations), display on the wall and I can paint! It comes with anything you may need and it packs nicely into the carrying case that comes with it- remote control, tripod and most cables needed-supply your own phone cable. The size makes it very easy to carry and move around. I can control the size of my masterpiece easily, pull the focus out for a more 'impressionist' painting, I CAN PAINT ON WALLS AND CEILINGS...IN THE SAME ART PIECE!!! My nephew will be home schooling this year so this will be used for his "art class". I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do art but has been afraid to!!

A Good Starter Projector For Business Use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Yaber Buffalo U2 is a decent entrant into the space of small projectors. The unit itself is about the size of a ream of paper, includes an elevator screw in the bottom, has two adjustments (one for focus and one for angle), and includes an HDMI and VGA cable. This particular unit includes a screen in the box and mounting strips for easy setup. For business purposes this is a little clunky, but for "I gotta put a movie on the wall/I gotta put this powerpoint up so folks can see it", the screen is a welcome addition. There's a cleaning cloth and a remote as well, but no batteries. The unboxing was minimal and thankfully most of the elements inside could be recycled. The contrast ratio is 500:1 which I found slightly low in brighter light conditions; you could still clearly see what was being projected, but if you need to project in daylight you'll want a more powerful model. The fan is quite loud, especially compared to some of Yaber's other projectors. The sound quality and volume are capable of filling a mid-sized meeting room, but if you try to go to classroom size, you might not have the best experience. As with most smaller entry-level projectors, as long as it throws a good enough image, it's probably fine; you won't find wiz-bang features or tons of adjustments, it's meant to plug in and go. The most aspirational part of this projector is the AirPlay/wifi connection component, although these are notoriously clunky and rely on a highly savvy tech wiz to pull off. Just because I can do it doesn't mean Bob from accounting may be able to. Most folks may not even try that functionality, especially in a business setting and playing tech support for that function is going to irritate those of us "on call" with family and friends. However, it's an interesting idea and one that has uses for certain scenarios. Yaber's offerings typically have some very thoughtful additions, and in this case there were a number of things missing: the U2 does not include a carrying case. That means you're stuck with the box and the included padding unless you can find another case that will fit it. You've also got no tripod or other equipment to help you present on the go. The U5 includes a carrying case and mini-tripod, the U2 includes a screen. Overall: if you need an entry-level projector that just does the thing with minimal fuss, here's a good choice.

Mirroring with your phone won’t always work.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great projector for the back yard or for a fun movie night with the family. However, be prepared as the mirroring capabilities are useless. I say this because when I mirrored my iPhone 13 pro I ran into two problems. Problem #1: my iPhone would not allow me to mirror nextflix, HBO max, or Hulu. My iPhone automatically blacks out the projector screen when trying to mirror from theses apps. Any other game or app I could mirror and stream through the yaber. The only video type service I could stream was YouTube, Problem #2: speech delay meaning the audio did not match the video. This was only during phone mirroring and did not happen while I used an HDMI cable. Now that I got all of that out of the way; this projector is pretty cool for a easy family projector. Connect your Blu-ray or standard DVD player, a roku box or something similar and your set. I recommend having an external speaker as the internal speaker on the projector sounds super basic. You can use the internal speaker but it sounds so flat and I really recommend using something else if your using this for family time and a movie. The projector is 720p and it shows. For movies with the family though or out back this will be fine. It’s super bright and crisp for a 720p. Colors are a little off but you won’t notice unless you compare it to your phone during mirroring. The fan wasn’t to loud and I have heard louder in this bracket.

Great budget starter projector!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A native 720P projector for under $200. Not a too steep price to pay for a good starter projector in a small room.
