I figured this game would have been a great jumping point for the series and I was right. Fun gameplay, engrossing story, and plenty of things to do. Still playing it after 40 hours.

This game tells the origin story of the Yakuza series, and it is excellent. Fun combat, good story, and a wide variety of aide activities make it a fun and immersive experience.

Even though this my first experience with the Yakuza series, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and what it brought in terms of story and gameplay.

Great game. The story will have you hooked and the fighting is so satisfying. Plenty of activities too many to name them all. For anyone new to the series its a beatem up with a Japanese mafia storyline. Karaoke,batting practice,classic arcade games like outrun,rc car racing and so on. Def worth it with many hours of fun.

If you love Asian gangster films, you will love this game! Great action, great story, and tons of fun! Part brawler, part mingame collection, part adventure, it's everything you wanted!!

This reminds me of games from the an old genre of the past, the beat 'em up. A fun game, but it relies heavily on story so quite a few cut scenes meaning it may not be for everyone.

I've been a fan of this series since the beginning and this game takes you back to the beginning. Great graphics with a serious story but with wacky Japanese fun too! Highly recommended.

Yakuza 0 is an action RPG that can really only be described as a "Japan simulator". In the same vein as the Grand Theft Auto series, the Yakuza series offers an insight into the country in which it hails from. The combat is flashy and fast paced. Combined with the upgrade system it feels very rewarding and never gets boring. There are many sidequests and side activities to do, and they are incredibly fleshed out. Yakuza 0 is a great place to jump into the Yakuza series and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.

This game is well worth the money if you like Japanese style games. There is a ton of content that will keep you busy and having fun for his 80+ hours. The story is wonderful.

This game is fantastic fun! There is so much to do with all the mini games which are well executed. The story is engaging, and the fighting action is also fun. Don't pass this up.

There are so many things to do in this game. The gameplay is solid, the story is surprisingly good and there's enough sidequests and minigames to keep you entertained for hours.

Fight in between alleyways while Unveiling the life of an ex-yokuza. Befriend cops to get them on your side or accomplish short missions to help you rack up points!! If you find get bored, go karaoke. There are just tons of things to do in this game, which makes it endlessly fun.

I really liked the storyline and the intense action. The walking around took a little getting used to, but once I changed the camera angle it got better.

Picture persona meets street brawler. Amazing story and even better side quests. Be warned, however, it's all on Japanese so get ready to read. Totally worth it though!

As many who play the series may know, the Yakuza series is a very dark and serious set of stories following protagonist Kiryu Kazuma. The games are not without a sense of humor, however; the glam and glitz that lies outside the main plot is charming and fun, even if it's nearly entirely optional. After 5 games following Kiryu's life, we're given a chance to see how his story began. From a young foot soldier to one of the most feared legends of the underworld. With comedic moments, tons of side content, a fantastically voiced plot, and a fun combat system, this game offers a lot to fans of this kind of genre.

Yakuza 0 is another great exclusive for PS4. Its open ended gameplay, gritty story and distinct Japanese feel only add to the overall great package. But this game.

Yakuza 0 is a great jumping off point for anyone to the Yakuza series. The narrative is powerful and gripping, and is a great ride. The side activities are fun and varied. Can spend dozens and dozens of hours in this game. Overall an excellent and fun game.
