This game is amazing the story is great as well as the gameplay and they also added in a section to play as majima which was never in the original

Every Yakuza game is the same, you could argue. And you'd be right. Every Yakuza game is absolutely awesome. I'll make it quick: you play as a former Japanese mobster trying to go straight, but inevitably getting pulled back into the underworld. You fight bad guys- TONS of bad guys- always sticking to a moral code. Even if that moral code does allow you to smash a person's face against a lit hot plate while you shoot his friend with a flare gun. The stories? Epic. The music? Amazing. The graphics? Updated and state of the art in every way. Get every Yakuza game. Go. I'll wait. You won't be sorry!

The Yakuza series offer some really good story and Japanese culture with fairly fun gameplay. It's an open world, story driven action game sets in modern Japan.

Best Steelbook yet in the yakuza series and they finally upgraded to the new engine so runs even better than 0 or kiwami 1. Amazing yakuza storyline as always.

I'm a big fan of the franchise but yakuza is super fun. Story is great. Very action packed. I'd agree it's niche but it's top notch if it fits you'd niche

This game is the first one to use the newer game engine. It's fantastic. The story is great and leads into the newly remastered 3.

Same awesome yakuza combat with upgrades that came with Yakuza 6. Probably the best story in the series but my favorite is still Zero.

A worthy remake of the PS2 classic; this is actually my favorite game in the series, and this game has been remade from the ground up.

The Yakuza team knows what it's doing. This is yet another amazing entry in one of the all-time great franchises. Having played the original, I can say that this is an outstanding remake which both keeps true to the original, but modernizes it in ways that leave little to miss. Kiwami 2 takes the engine improvements from Yakuza 6, and pours on more of the series' generosity. The casino games have returned, Virtual-On and Virtua Fighter 2 are stellar add-ons, and the combat is up with the best Yakuza has to offer.

I am still quite new to the Yakuza series. I am still playing Zero. Yes, I know I should have finished it already but because of the side missions such as Club Cabernet and Real Estate Takeover has pretty much taken the majority of my attention. Now I have the chance to play the series in it's entirety....as soon as they make a Kiwami 3 (the only game from the series that I do not currently own. I can't wait to dive in completely in the series....that's if I am not submerged in the side missions.....

After picking up the remake of part 1 i was like MEH about part 2. BIG mistake... this game has updated graphics... just updated all around A TRUE RE-MAKE! I can understand these games aren't for everyone... but for the people that like them... and might be interested BUY THIS! I honestly feel this might be better than Yakuza 6 (which is also worth buying) One of the best games i have played this year.

Kiwami 2 is a full remaster of the classic Yakuza 2 made with the Dragon Engine that was first used on Yakuza 6. The graphics and gameplay are awesome, with way more detail than ever before, with all the environmental objects becoming far more interactive and dynamic. It is a game that must be played for new gamers and longtime Yakuza fans alike and this is one of my favourite games of the entire series.

This series is being released on PS4 one by one, and I could not be happier to finally be playing it. This is essentially the second Yakuza, but it is totally remade in the new engine that is also used in Yakuza 6: Song of life. The gameplay is very interactable, and the characters are very memorable. I love the side activities that can be played, but I do not want to spoil anything, so if you enjoy open world type games, and great stories then the Yakuza series is for you.

The game comes with a beautiful steelbook, and great price on black friday the game is amazing too
