Great game. I know the change to JRPG turn-based combat gave some people pause, but it's still the same great Yakuza we all know and love, with even more of an emphasis on the goofiness.

Actually my first Yakuza game. Looked very interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. Super fun and heartwrenching story so far! Will definitely be going back to try the previous titles!

Plays more like a turn based rpg which openly loves the dragon quest games. A lot to do here but may get repetitive late game. If you like jrpgs or dragon quest, a strong recommendation

I was surprised to find out this was a turn based RPG but it had me hooked form start to finish. The main story is serious but the side stories are really goofy. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I have played Yakuza 7 on PC with XGP, but still buying a physical version is good for collection purpose. The main story of the game is great from both macro and micro scales, and there are many minigames reflect Japanese culture and their daily life. It is also worth to mention that Yakuza 7 is one of the few Japanese PS Games that DOES include Chinese and Korean subtitles in the US version, and this benefits Asian players like me a lot, as there won't be any more needs to buy Asian version for much more price and much longer shipping time. Definitely worth buying it!

I'm a big Yakuza fan already so of course I was going to get this. It's not a beat 'em up like the rest, it's turn based (you'll know why once you play it) & it's just great!

This game is weird, funny, and fun. It pretty much is like final fantasy 15 but in a more funny and entertaining way. It has a lot of hours of gameplay when you play the entire game.

I'm 10 hours into the game. For a long time now I have been missing how gaming felt years ago when a game would totally engross me. I wasn't sure if it was just nostalgia that had me feeling like few modern games ever seem great. This game has such a good story that intrigues you right away, and great characters. I'm not even totally sold on the new turn based combat, but I'm giving it a chance. I have played other Yakuza games and Judgment, and didn't necessarily always love those either, so my praise for this game isn't just prior bias. This is just so good. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is great

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is an amazing reset for the Ryu ga gotoku series. No longer is Kiryu the main protagonist or the gameplay action based. We get a full turned based battle system similar to Dragon Quest! Although this might seem weird at first, it all meshes together quite well. Again, as in previous entries, you get well developed characters and a grandiose story. Some of the story scenarios also play like Japanese TV dramas. You also get to explore a new, enormous city which also returns in Lost Judgement.

Amazing game, genuinely one of the funniest i’ve played in years. Hysterical JRPG combat and lovable characters, don’t be afraid to start here if you’re new to the Yakuza series.

They took a chance and switched the combat to a turn based rpg. I think they did a good job, but the rpg battles aren't as in depth as I would like. But still fun.

First I want to talk about the steel book included with this game. As a person who owns many steelbooks, I can confidently say this one looks extremely clean. As for the game, I, unfortunately, can't say much since I am waiting for the PS5 upgrade which isn't due until March.

If you're a fan of the Yakuza series and still on the fence about buying this game, then you should most definitely give it a try. The steel book case looks great too.

The Yakuza series has proven itself time and again as a franchise for all. With the move to turn based combat in YLAD it takes the series to new heights!

I love the standard Yakuza beat em ups formula, so I was a bit scared when I saw that this was a Turn to Turn based RPG, but the game is amazing!

This is a fantastic game, I didn't know what to think about the turn based system when it was announced, but gd, if it isn't a fresh take on it, and really fun.

Decided to purchase this game over another one. Was able to price match and get the Steelbook along with it! I am very excited to play as I’ve seen so many good reviews
