Bought it because it was on sale with a free gift but honestly couldn't be happier. Takes a lil time to get into but the story line is good and gameplay is really enjoyable.

So happy to see Yakuza make its way to the Xbox. This a new story with a new Character but in the universe of the original Yakuza in the same town, Kamarucho. It is called Yakuza 7 in Japan. So it is a continuation of the saga bit with someone other than Kazuma Kiryu. Kazuma is in this world, it isn't like Judgement where there are in the same universe but never see eachother.

I've never played any of the other earlier games of the series, but I am enjoying this one. It is and RPG and combat is strategy based. Animations are fantastic. Graphics are great. The story line seem long and the cut scenes take forever when it tells the story, but keeps me interested and pulls me in. Humor is good. I feel like I know each of my members well. They seem to have character and are alive. Combat seems easy from the beginning to about the middle of the story where I am at so far. I have heard it gets harder towards the end and if you don't devote to grinding the fights it is harder for you at the end. I trying to engage all enemies to gain XP and it seems to be working. It is also a game that seems to be not stressful. You are excited to clear a boss fight, but not really stressing about it. Not sure how they did that, but it is fantastic easy and fun. The fights seem to be fun and satisfying. Reminds me of old RPG turn based fighting, but alot more fun to play. Great buy and great game.

Amazing game the yakuza series seems to always keep me hooked. I was afraid at first if starting a new yakuza game without kiryu since I was so attached but this turned out to be a pretty good game with an insane storyline. The fighting is average it makes me miss the old beat em up style fighting that the previous games had but that doesn't take away from this game.

Such a cool game. My first Yakuza. About a week and 20 hours in I can't wait to get my play time in each day. Combat system is cool, story is awesome, and I'm shocked how many extras were thrown into this game. Batting cages, golf, karaoke, old school arcade games. You can get lost for hours just wandering the streets playing all these things you find at random locations.

I haven’t played any of the other games in the series, but this game is a lot of fun! Currently, I’m almost at the very end of the game and I’ve been playing for over 40 hours. If you’re a fan of traditional, turn-based jrpgs, then you’ll enjoy this. Wacky Sega humor, lots of content, and graphics that look really nice on the Series X! Would definitely recommend!

Really sold me on the Yakuza franchise. This is my first game of the franchise I played and it’s really good . I think I will love the other titles in this franchise, but I am a sucker for turn based JRPGs and not so much of action beat em ups. Either way I am impressed. If you’re both a Yakuza fan and a JRPG lover I believe you will love this one.

Incredible fun. A different take on the Yakuza formula, you either love it or don't, but it breathes enough weirdness and wildness into a franchise that has been around longer than many others to keep you coming back. I recommend this and Judgment, and Yakuza 6!

I play RPG's a little here and there, they must be out of this world for this guy here. This one is amazing, right up there with the greats. Hours of fun.

As a fan of the previous games in the series, this game introduces a nice change in the gameplay. It's still that familiar Yakuza game, but with a turn-based combat mechanic. If you're a fan of previous games in the series then you should have a good time with this one as well.

Cant wait for the sequel, awesome voice acting from both Japanese and English (dubbed). Gameplay is different if youre used to the old Yakuza games, this one is turn base like Persona or any other jrpg. If you like that, you'll love their take on it. Simple yet effective.

Love the combat, rpg aspects & graphics on the Series X. Includes a steel book cover for the disc. My only gripe is not enough combat in relation to the 10 minute conversations that happen. Overall, really like this game. The main character is very likeable and fun.

One of the best games I have played so far, best game of the year in my opinion. I love the rpg elements and the story of the game is one of the most intense and deepest stories in any video game I’ve played. Some side quests are even deeper than the main story. 10/10!

Amazing. I had my doubts when I first heard about it, especially as the MC is no longer series superstar Kiryu but rest assured, this game is a true Yakuza game. The MC, Ichiban, quickly becomes very likeable and the supporting cast around him are all hilarious.

The game is fun, but it takes forever to play because the main character has walk every way. Also, it is hard learning how to play the games because I don’t which controls do which things. Not worth the $50 price! I recommend buyimg another game!
