Better Get One With the Smart Module

Some customer service was lacking

Unfortunately I do not have a smart phone (you really need the app). When I contacted customer service they gave basic instructions and there was no way to reset to lock (I tried their instructions several times - they told me to send a video???)

It locks and keeps the door shut

You may need to deepen the hole in the door casing for the deadbolt to fit. Sometimes I get an error that the door is jammed or that it’s not locked because the bolt doesn’t fully engage. On the plus side when it does work well I can use my Apple Watch to unlock the door

Both work really well. The only thing about the new one is that its not yet compatible with ZWave. Hopefully that support comes soon.

Looks good but not functional

Looks good but not very functional. There is no lever on the outside and it's not easy to close the door by holding or pulling the touch pad. I finally returned this.
