Great lock!

I did have some trouble installing it but after about an hour I realized it was my error, I had it set for a different sized door. After that it took maybe another 10 minutes to install. I can control it from my phone and so can my son so there is no need for anything extra to be carried around and possibly lost (thrown away by my 2 year old). This has made life so much easier and safer!! I will be replacing the locks on all of my doors now.

Nice design, average software, poor reliability

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We like the design of the lock, and it works more quietly and smoother than the Kwikset keypad lock it replaced. The Bluetooth connectivity that facilitates smart control is a little slow, though it does work. However, twice we have had the tamper alarm go off when the cable connection has become disturbed--the keypad becomes unresponsive and the lock begins beeping loudly. which can only be resolved by removing and reinserting the batteries. My installation was done correctly, Yale support asserts that vibration--from lock operation or door closign--could be causing it. This questionable reliability is unacceptable, it's being removed and returned.

Awesome Smart Lock For The Price
