cannot get the lockset to calibrate to work. it will manually work but cannot set th ekey combo until it calibrates. ive email customer service with no luck

Worked good for a couple of days and then wont rotate the lock. Maybe the door was bad or something but I bought a $50 electronic lock from amazon which did everything yale lock did and also worked when yale stopped

Awful!! Battery life only lasts 3days! We’ve changed the batteries twice in two weeks. Terrible product, don’t buy.

Works, sometimes. Returned and order Eufy. No problems and not a missed connection with the Eufy.

Lock worked well at install on 4/7-2024, with At&T internet. 2weeks later the lock is offline and Will not connect to the internet. ATT internet is working properly, assume the lock is malfunctioning. Called 24 hour Yale line, they could not resolve the problem.

Fit in ok but the deadbolt is super flimsy. App install is terrible, no manual way in instructions ti program keypad code. Have to hide the only key now for other to access property. Seems like wifi needs another $100-200 device to enable. Silly product marketing.

After researching I decided on this thinking it was a good buy. Yeah, its crap. The install was confusing and one of the screws didn't go all the way in. Wasting over an hour, I got a Eufy instead and was very pleased. 10 min install, can open it in 5+ ways, and was the same price. Never again.

Not easy to operate. Too many hops to go through to set it up with airbnb. It was not worth my time or the money. I bought 4 of them and I am going to return 3 of them.

It constantly kept alarmimg for no reason. Manufacture said alram is due to yale lock being tampered with when it never was. Had cameras proving that.

Very sharp looking digital deadbolt lock. The keypad is invisible until the Yale logo is pressed and then the code can be entered. Very easy setup with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities and code and/or fingerprint recognition. Easy to add individual codes using the Yale App. I really like the notifications of whom and when someone locks/unlocks the door.

Locks are easy to installs and easy to use. The AirBnb integration is a plus.

Great smart lock, very easy to set-up. Simple design, does exactly what I need. Uses Yale app to control remotely using WIFI. Highly recommended

Had a locksmith install, super easy. Lock the auto lock feature with kids.

Works well and look good. You can assign codes to individually, lock/unlock from your phone.

I’m happy with my purchase after reviewing several options! I decided to go with this one, since I like that it had the app, code option as well as the key feature. The installation was a breeze and have had zero issues with it!

I purchased the Yale touchscreen smart lock in September of 2021, it worked great for about 1 year then started having issues in the late afternoon sun. Our door faces west and gets direct sunlight. The tamper alarm would start going off once the unit got hot. It is not that hot in western Oregon. This required pulling out the batteries to reset the device. I appreciate the technical help I received in troubleshooting the lock. However, the issue was never resolved. I understand that electronic components fail, and that this unit is out of warranty, but really it is not that old. This unit fails almost daily when exposed to the late afternoon sun … it is not that hot in Western Oregon as compared to say Texas where the technician that helped me said that many customers have units installed without complaint. Which means this unit is an outlier. Yale offered me a discount on a replacement unit, but really it is not enough for me. My expectation would be that the unit be replaced without cost with the recognition that it is an outlier unit and Yale stands behind its products. We’ve had a few cooler days here and the unit has been not alarming, but as luck would have it, it alarmed while we were away, and the batteries ran down in the unit and people needing to get into our house to take care of our dogs could not and were locked out as they did not have a physical key. That incident was enough not to consider Yale for a replacement unit.

The lock seems solid and the app works well for our purposes. I really appreciate the auto-lock feature that locks the door after 90 seconds since my kids and spouse tend to leave the door unlocked. Setup was simple with video instructions.

the first one broke and then i had to return it and the new one is fine. the auto unlock is sweet.
