I have had this lock installed for several weeks now and let me say, it has been a game changer for my family. Originally, I purchased the standard model at Lowe’s, but the next day I went to Best Buy to pick up a new keyboard and saw this model that came with the wireless module and the touch to open feature. I returned the other model straight away and purchased this one. The software is very easy to use and can be set up with Apple Home. With the touch to open finger print feature I no longer need to constantly have my house key with me and all of my kids can open the door once we get home. This has been so much more convenient than I originally thought it would be. We initially had difficulty with programming the fingerprint, but after a quick search found that simply closing the Yale app and reopening it would fix the issue with programming. Since then, I have had no issues. Buy this model, it comes with the Wi-Fi module, which you will want to be able to access and receive notifications from your lock and can be programmed to open with your fingerprint.

I use these for short term rentals. They are great for getting guest in remotely.

Installation was easy and simple, setting up was also straightforward. Fingerprint sensor works well. Havent tried the wifi features yet.

This is a great lock. Works as planned and I have remote access. Very easy set up. Instructions were awesome and very easy step by step. Would recommend for anyone needed the remote access to make sure to get this model

Nice lock works great. Great for one touch unlock.

Ver easy to install and setup initially. We have recurring issues with it going into 'passage mode' that results in the lock unlocking itself without any user interaction. We've attempted troubleshooting measures recommended by the manufacturer, but the issue persists.

Now we can get in house when we are licked out. Very easy to use

great product! I absolutely recommand this product.

It was somehow easy to install, but it doesn’t work properly all of the time. I have it set up so that it automatically locks when I close the door, and sometimes it doesn’t. Also, there have been times when the door is unlocked, but the app says it is locked. The auto open doesn’t work all the time either.

I was pretty excited to try and install this lock, mainly because of the well-known brand and features they advertise on this specific smart lock. I intended to use it for a house I own overseas and give family members and friends access when I'm not physically present to let them in, and this was THE lock I needed. However, after a few weeks (less than 1 month of use), I noticed the YALE APP wouldn't connect to the smart lock, so I couldn't create a code, open, or lock the door remotely AT ALL; and the Home (iOS) feature on my phone wouldn't be able to connect to it, as well as the Alexa App. But, my friend could still use the code to go in the house, which is VERY concerning because the app WOULD NOT let me know or send a notification since it was "broken". In addition, the same friend had to remove and reinstall new batteries to the lock, and it began to work okay. This was a suggestion to the YALE customer rep on the phone. Now, a month later, the same issue is happening. For an almost $300 smart lock, it shouldn't have this many hiccups on the APP.

Ir you qre looking for an smart lock spend the extra money on this one is worth every penny, dont go for a cheap one because at the end you will replqce it for some like this. Works great and is super easy to install and manage.

Lock is very easy to install. This lock replaces the whole deadbolt not just then exterior parts like the August smart lock. Has video instructions if you need them tk walk you step by step. Smart module is pretty easy to set up fornwifi also.

Awesome smart lock, looks super clean and was really easy to install. The only thing I wish it could do was lock automatically during a certain time frame of the day.
