Some times lost connection with apple home app not Yale app and Auto Unlock was not working well

I replaced this with my Schlage encode as it stopped working after 3 years.... i love how you can just use your finger and in you go quickly. I Will replace my other 2 schlage with this lock.

Don’t have to worry about spare keys and getting him back or making more to hand out to family. Plus getting it on sale was a big advantage. Such a game changer and improvement to make things much more simple and stress-free

I like the option for a keyed entry. I also enjoy that you do not require that old plug in wifi connector for the lock. This has a easy setup and excellent sensors for when the door needs to lock itself

Yale app reflects the battery at 80%, but the lock does not show signs of power. I continuously have to remove a battery and pop it back in to reset it. Even though when it does work, it’s great…I would not recommend this lock.

The fingerprint sensor is a real hit or miss, the battery life is absolutely AWFUL, and and only comes with 1 key. They print on the key to only use Yale genuine keys, which of course puts more money in their pocket. Additionally, the touch sensor almost never picks up when you go to lock the door and it doesn’t lock it properly, which is a huge security hazard. This is not the first Yale lock that I’ve owned. They keep releasing new models, and me thinking there’s no way it can be as bad as previous models, believe it to be better, but it’s not. Do not buy this lock or any other Yale product.

It is really bad at trying to be a smart lock. The batteries only last a week if it has to connect to wifi. My access point for the door is 5 feet above the door but Yale tech support told me the battery drain is due to poor wifi signal. The shipped me a hub to solve the battery drain. Now the battery lasts a little longer but the lock has problems connecting to the hub. Poor bluetooth signal, but the door is next to the outlet the hub is plugged into, about 2 feet away. Will never recommend Yale to even my enemies.

I ended up bought 3 of those. Love the fingerprint entry feature, that unlocking the door much faster and easier.

I can check and operate the lock from anywhere on my iPhone. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
