Best lock so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this Yale lock to replace my old one and so far I'm happy with the upgrade. This one besides it looks better and is smaller works alot better, for example the auto unlocked feature works faster than the old one. Wifi it's integraded so maybe that's why it works better. One thing I don't like it's the volume you can't barely hear it at high. Other than that I really like it.

Front Door Lock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Yale Smart Lock Wi-Fi with touch screen keypad is working great so far. I had to use different mounting screws for the unit in order to get a tight fit on my door; the screws provided with the unit would not tighten down as needed to get a snug fit. Other than that, all good.

No more keys!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.don't have to worry about forgetting to lock your door or where you put your keys, this solves all of those problems! My wife always and I mean always forgets where she puts her keys, now she just needs to use a fingerprint to open it. Perfect solution for a smart home!

Works just as advertised!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of how well the fingerprint sensor would work, or how quickly the lock would engage, but I've been impressed on both fronts. I installed this in a new door, the instructions were straightforward and the templates were easy to follow to know where to cut the holes. I plan on purchasing more of these locks for other doors.

NEVER AGAIN
|Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will never purchase another Yale smart product. I purchased one about 3 years ago and had an awful experience. I ended up switching to Eufy and absolutely loved that smart lock. When I moved and wanted a new smart lock, the Eufy was out of stock so I went with the Yale Assure Lock 2. This lock uses 4 AA batteries that need to be replaced every 3-4 weeks. The wifi connectivity is absolute garbage, and most features can only be used/edited when your phone is connected via bluetooth (meaning within 5 feet of the lock). The sensor that detects whether the door is open has never worked properly, and the support always just tells you to reset and reinstall the entire lock when this happens.

A waste of money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This smart lock has been a major disappointment. Its fundamental function is unreliable: I've been locked out multiple times because the Touch ID is inconsistent at best. The performance is even worse in cold weather, where the mechanism freezes and jams, preventing access. For a product in this price bracket, the performance is unacceptable. It operates more like a cheap, low-end model and is not worth the investment.

Lock is great, wifi has some minor issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I’m happy with the lock. The wifi connection goes out about once a day for a few minutes and them auto-reconnects. Not a major issue, but annoying.

Keys
|Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is a smart lock and the whole purpose of it is to not have keys. I did not like that you cannot use the internals of your old lock. It comes with its own new key. Having a house keyed onto 1 key type is expensive and I did not have the intention of having multiple keys for my doors (for those just in case times). Also, if you were to install a secondary smart lock, it has a different key! I'm just going to use my August and my own key. (Yale and August are now owned by the same company.)
