Unfortunately it started to die before we could even make it to June. Initially I noticed the batteries died within the first two weeks. The second set of batteries lasted about 4 weeks. The third set of batteries lasted about 2 days, now. The lock is non-functional. The app states that the lock needs to be configured for the first time. Starting the process for a warrant exchange or something I will update.

Cool lock, steep price

It was on the space on the shelf that showed $99 in store. I thought that was a great price. Then I learned the actual price is around $280. I think somewhere in between would be the correct price for this item.

They don't reliably warn about low batteries, they don't stay connected to wifi, they refuse to integrate with HomeKit despite claiming that they do, and after removing the wifi module AS INSTRUCTED BY THE YALE APP to resolve a wifi issue...the pins in the lock broke off, so now the module won't insert or work at all. Waste of time and money. Buy literally anything else.

Good hardware with a lot of software flaws

It looks great, is built well, and easy enough to install, but it malfunctions a lot! The fingerprint reader is horrible. It often does not auto-lock after closing. And is acting up more and more after being only a couple months old. Overall, this is an okay product, but I would not purchase again—especially not for this high of a price.
