This has been a terrible smart lock, do not buy! Fingerprint sensor does not work consistently and the passcodes have never worked. constantly loses the wifi connection, and the batteries have to be replaced every 30 days. Terrible!

The motor will not work. I have contacted Yale customer service at 8 times, probably more including email. They said they work send replacement parts and it’s been almost a month and they still say they haven’t processed the parts to ship. TERRIBLE!!! I expect so much better service than this, we consumers deserve better customer service and support. I emails photos and video, they agreed to send parts and now I get generic response emails and same for when I call. I was really hoping this would work out.

I didn’t receive my delivery today, even though I took the day off from work specifically to wait for Best Buy to deliver and install my purchase. The service has been terrible—no calls or updates from them at all. I’m really frustrated!

If I had it to do over again, this wouldn’t be my choice at all. It was supposed to allow me to get airbnb codes for those guests, but instead, it assigns codes to regular people who always have access, VRBO & airbnb.

Had tons of smart features that drew me to it; however the lock wasn’t interchangeable to a right hand swing. Customer service at Yale was subpar and Best Buys return policy was too short. Ended up returning it.

After having this lock for 6 weeks, any kind of vibration causes the lock to immediately unlock. Unlock the keyed lock on the door, it unlocks, shut a door on the other side of the house, the lock unlocks. Push the door, the lock unlocks, shut the door behind you and turn the knob and it unlocks. Yale support is telling me it’s a software issue and developers are “looking at it”. This is absolutely not a software issue and Yale is telling me to keep the malfunctioning lock on my door while they troubleshoot. I’m not sure they understand what locks are for.

not worth to buy . It says Wi-Fi enabled , but never got connected . I had to replace twice , but I am stuck with the ones that got fixed .
We need to understand how we need to get this replaced , dont know if I am in to get a new set . I rather go get a differnet one .

Having owned some August locks before I thought this would be a great upgrade. I was wrong twice in 2 weeks it disconnected and I have really good WiFi and it’s close to where the lock is setup at. I’ve never had that happen once with August locks .
The setup is very finicky as well and I would call myself somewhat of a techy and in general know what I’m doing. This product is a huge miss as their own daughter company August doesn’t have these issues

after only 2 months this lock completely died. Spent hours troubleshooting it and on the phone with Yale technical support. They require video proof of you doing all troubleshooting steps before it can be reviewed for a warranty replacement.

This product is trash and even if this is not a common issue the product support is even worse from Yale. Beware. Will be reaching out to consumer protection on this one.

Fingerprint sensor keeps kicking offline. Yale keeps asking for more and more documentation of the problem and I’m just outside my return period. Terrible customer service on the support line and I’m using a key on a $250 lock

Bad quality. Can not auto lock, did a bunch of troubleshoot with Yale service but issue persisted. Got a replacement with the same issue.
