This lock is an huge upgrade to the smart lock yale that I used to have with the nest connect in order to operate the WiFi and get connected to the app.
Enjoying so far. The app can have a little touch up

We have had few different smart locks but the Yale locks have by far been the best. I can use codes, finger prints, my phone, and watch to unlock it. It’s easy to share access to friends and family or even deny access. It pairs with my Alexa and ring products. Great product

Replaced my old nest Yale lock. This new assure lock is great. Fast and reliable. Only issue, but might be lots of traffic. 7 people using it daily. Battery- Bought it March and replaced it October. So 6 months not bad I guess with heavy usage. Overall great product and love the new lock.

I had the 2nd generation august lock, which started to degrade in performance-- both from a wifi connectivity standpoint and just the mechanism itself. Was looking for something that had a keypad option and finger print option and this was it.
Overall, if you're coming from a non-smart lock, the installation is straightforward with the guides from the pages being helpful.
A caveat is that this product fits a very specific door length, density, etc. I would pay VERY close attention to the specifications of where the holes are.
The app itself is just the august app but made for yale. confusing at first, but eventually you'll figure it out.
I was able to store finger print entries for non-app/account holders (like small children--mother in laws--etc) which I appreciated.
The finger print reader portion of the product is finicky. I would say it works 5/10 times, most of the time the auto-entry feature unlocks it before needing fingerprint access. Maybe its just my weird thumbs?

This lock is super cool and very responsive, love it. Very easy to install and user friendly experience . I had another lock similar to this and it did not satisfy my security and user needs. I recommend this lock to anyone who is in the market for security, and a modern upgrade.

This lock is a secure and feature-rich smart lock that's easy to use. However, the battery life is simply unacceptable. It's a constant battle to keep the lock operational, and I have to replace 4 AA batteries almost every 2 months which is incredibly inconvenient and costly.
If Yale can improve the battery life, this lock has the potential to be an outstanding product. Until then, users should be prepared for the inconvenience of frequent battery changes.
A great lock overall. Buy A LOT of extra batteries

I live in a 3-unit condo building and bought this to replace a Lockly lock that burnt out from being in the sun. This is on our main, exterior door. The lock is easy to install and works well. The fingerprint sensor is a great feature and works 99.9% of the time. If my fingers are cold, I may have to warm them up or leave my finger on the sensor a bit longer. The app is nice and simple. The WiFi works well. Man oh man does it eat through batteries. It might be because it’s used more frequently due it being at the main door shared by all three units. I replace the batteries every 2-3 months.

Only thing missing is apple key, but otherwise fantastic. Brautiful design, sturdy, fantastic connectivity and features. Would recommend.

I’m starting with four stars, because the batteries that came with it seemed to wear out rather quickly. Within a couple of weeks quickly. And the lock is literally 5 feet away from the nearest Wi-Fi connection. But who knows how long those batteries were in transit.
