    Purchased two pairs these as rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup. I have to say these sound great! No issues with distortion and great mids and highs. I have the crossover at 80HZ so i don't have any info on bass but otherwise these are amazing and the safe chain is an added bonus on the bracket.

    I wired my garage speakers and outdoor speakers onto the same reciever and the power that comes out of the Yamaha speakers are intense . Utilizing an A & B channel, if powered together at the same time, the Bose (garage) speakers are nearly outperformed by the Yamaha speakers on the exterior of the home.

    Even if I paid full price I would have been happy! They fill my backyard with a very decent quality of sound, about as good as can be expected without spending thousands.

    BIG SOUND FROM A SMALL PRICE! I installed these on the eaves above my patio along with a cooling misting system. Yamaha has come a LONG ways from when I first tried their speakers out many years ago!

    These were well worth a purchase anx i got lucky enough to buy them at a discount. I havent played them out there loudest volume level but no issues with distortion yet. The sound is crispy and balanced. It doesnt lean in any direction. I do wish it came in a black option.

    I also own the 5" version of these, and I was a bit disappointed at the flat bass that these provide in comparison. I was expecting a bit more than the smaller speakers, and honestly the smaller ones are the better buy, especially on clearance at $50.

    Best buy was great, I haven't had the chance to use the item yet I'm still waiting on a receiver that I ordered from Amazon which was a mistake because their delivery drivers are garbage, I have a 300ft driveway and they keep refusing to deliver and promising it the next day, it's insane. But best buy is great and I'm done with Amazon I'll only ship at best buy moving forward.
