These are nice sounding speakers. I am using them as rear speakers in a 5.1 surround setup in the ceiling. Easy to mount with template. Tweeters are adjustable allowing you to aim them where you want the sound.

These look have a high quality sound for an affordable price, They are very easy to install and grill attaches via magnet leaves a nice clean look.

I put these speakers in my game room drop ceiling. The installation was very easy.They have a great sound. They carry all the base I needed and the hights are very clear. There are better speakers on the market, but not for the price.

Absolutely a must have for home theater sound. They are easy to install, look fantastic and the sound is great. Worth the time and money for sure!

These are FANTASTIC speakers .. paired them with a Yamaha stereo receiver for my business.. ABSOLUTELY Great sound.. Bass and treble distribution are excellent.. fill up the whole work area.. Mounted 4 in the ceiling in a 1440 square foot space... LOVE THEM.. Would Buy them again and again.. GREAT Value and Sound.. Should have replaced my old one years ago. If Only i had Known The quality of these little jewels.. Also very easy to mount in drop down acoustical ceiling.. VERY SATISIFIED>> FIVE STARS>>

The speakers were of a moderate price and great value. Easy to install with magnetic covers and ceil cut out template included. The speakers sound great!

Speakers were easy to install. I liked the easy on grill with the magnets. Speakers blend in with the white ceiling. Good sound.

Bought these for my livingroom I debated the 8 inch but decided not to go too big. That turned out to be a great move. .. they are perfect and have plenty of power. I am using them with a pioneer vsx-1022 receiver and everything sounds great. I would certainly give these speakers a 5 star with quality appearance and sound all at a great price. I am going to buy 6 more for my media room only 8 inch....which will completely be overdoing it but what the heck. Great product yamaha.

I purchased these as Atmos height speakers combined with Martin Logan 4i/2i main speakers. I was concerned how they would fit into this setup since they are clearly less than a match for Martin Logan speakers but since Atmos effects are subtle and not primary channels i decided to give them a shot. I’m glad i did. They were super easy to install (but running wires is a pain). The units themselves are very well made. The magnetic grills are a cinch to take on and off, the speaker wire binders are tight, and the entire unit feels solid as a rock. The sound is great. I’m not testing these with full dynamic range and have only used them as my middle height speakers, and for that - they are excellent!

This is a solid speaker, and a good price. The sound is good overall, and decent bass for a relatively small speaker. I have a separate powered sub, with four of these speakers acting as main and surround speakers, and am happy with the setup. They perform well at both functions, though you may want something bigger/more powerful as your primary pair, depending on your needs. The speakers were easy to install as well - I flush mounted them into the ceiling without any problem.

These are a Best Buy ! They sound great perfect for Atmos ceiling speakers and music good bass nice highs and mids. Don't waste your money on high roller speakers these sound great and look great.

We bought these and put them in the ceiling. It was very easy to do. They sound great and not even noticeable

I have a 20x30 game room with 12 ft ceilings. The biggest issue I've had was a terrible echo from the tall ceilings. I have a set of nice bose speakers as my mains but regardless of placement I could not get rid of the echo. I installed these speakers in the ceiling and with a little bit of work changing up the direction the tweeters were pointing the echo has disappeared! Installation was as simple as it gets and I couldn't be more pleased.

Bought two pairs recently and had seen a review that mentioned challenges with drop ceilings and was little worried. But in the end turned out just fine as the built in drywall clamps work well for drop ceilings. Only issue is how to press down the drop ceiling when tightening this, remove the adjacent one and gently press it down till you tighten all four corners of the clamp. Just done over tighten it. I even added a cheap but well made $2 plastic bowl shaped perfectly for the speaker back with tiny cut out for the cables, no more sound leakage into the empty drop floor ceiling and much improved sound and focus. Even before this improvisation, it was not bad for Height / Atmos duties. Excellent speakers for the price. Initially was going to buy the RSL ones, which have awesome reviews and great sound quality for $250 a pair, but at $94 a pair this was a good deal...

I was impressed with some previous Yamaha on wall mount speakers I am using outside - so I went for these in wall Yamaha speakers Once again they exceeded my expectations particularly in quality of materials and how built -The instillation was very easy - and they tell you how to paint the grills to match your room color - very good product

These ceiling speakers (my purpose) are absolutely fantastic! They are very easy to mount AND are very secure. (some genius unique mounting indeed!) They have wonderful magnetic grill covers to finish off an already easy install. They sound great! Now those movie scenes, like thunderstorms, are far more realistic. They complete my missing link to enable ATMOS sound with my new Yamaha receiver. Highly recommended without hesitation!
