I was impressed with some previous Yamaha on wall mount speakers I am using outside - so I went for these in wall Yamaha speakers Once again they exceeded my expectations particularly in quality of materials and how built -The instillation was very easy - and they tell you how to paint the grills to match your room color - very good product

These ceiling speakers (my purpose) are absolutely fantastic! They are very easy to mount AND are very secure. (some genius unique mounting indeed!) They have wonderful magnetic grill covers to finish off an already easy install. They sound great! Now those movie scenes, like thunderstorms, are far more realistic. They complete my missing link to enable ATMOS sound with my new Yamaha receiver. Highly recommended without hesitation!

I'm using these as rear in-ceiling surround speakers and they sound great. They have a nice well balanced sound but don't expect much in bass, these speakers have a built in crossover and are designed to be used with a subwoofer for bass production. Installation was a snap with the included template.

I purchased the pair for the rear surround as part of a 5.1 home theater setup. They sound absolutely great. At this price point is is hard to beat the sound quality, pivoting tweeters & good looks. The grill magnetically attaches & easily removes for setting up. I'm planning to buy 2 more pairs to complete my Dolby Atmos setup.

I was looking to replace my rear surround speakers to get them off the floor stand, my kids kept knocking them over. Chose these nice wall or ceiling mount speakers that will sit flush and provide great sound. Easy to install, sound great and look great.

I upgraded from in-ceiling speakers installed by the Developer. First off, the build quality is so much better than my Sun In-ceiling Speakers. It's very crisp and can handle sound tracks with heavy base. For the price, this pair is a solid performer. Also, installation was easier than my Sun Speakers or Monoprice Speakers (which I also have, but do NOT recommend).

We bought two pairs of Yamaha 6-1/2" ceiling speakers to replace old, small discolored speakers. The Yamaha speakers have excellent sound and a classic appearance that enhances the room. I just wish I'd done this years ago.

Great sound and really easy to set it up in my living room

I purchased these Yamaha in-ceiling speakers to finish off my basement living area and they sound great. For the price of these speakers, the sound quality, and the ease of installation, I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for great sound for their home theater needs.

I paired these with a Yamaha receiver and am more than impressed with the sound that comes from these smaller speakers, it took a minute to adjust levels and distance, but once they are in sync they sound phenomenal. The install was also easy. They look great, has a nice flush/flat finish, also love the magnet grill.

I added some ceiling speakers in my bedroom. They are great sounding and handle my music without any distortion. I am now thinking about adding some outside speakers. It is nice to walk from room to room and hear music. Installation is easy. Use a screwdriver to lock the speakers in place, hook up two wires, place the cover and sit back and enjoy.

I was looking for a quality in ceiling surround speaker and read reviews on numerous sites. I came across these at my local best buy as they were on sale. I bought them and installed them same day. They have great sound quality and are extremely easy to install. One of my favorite parts is the magnetic grill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

Directions for setup are clear but I would consider it more a novice setup than a beginner depending on if you have to cut drywall and manipulate any electrical wires inside your wall prior to connecting the speaker. In regards to the speakers, I'm impressed with the sound and clarity so far, no complaints here!

This is the second pair of these speakers that I use in my surround sound system. I've had the first pair for over 7 years and still going strong. They are easy to install, high quality speakers that sound great. Unfortunately the price went up 300%.

Provides more than required sound for a living room surround sound 5.1 system. They were easy to install and look great.

I have installed this set in my basement. Its been more than one year, i am impressed with the quality of the speakers. Its very easy to install, i love this.. I am thinking to buy similar pair to expand my sound system..

Sounds smooth I recommend especially for movies or a cleaning day at home

Installed these in the ceiling of our kitchen. My wife now dances around while she is cooking! The sound is better than ever and the speakers blend easily into our ceiling. Happy wife/Happy life!!!!

Fantastic speakers. We had a home orewired for additional speakers in two rooms. These have impressed us with their sound quality. Easy to install too!
