I've had this system for more than 6 mounts and I absolutely LOVE this stereo system. It does everything but the dishes. My only complaint is that the "enhancer" does not sound as good as my older stereo. It could be the room and speaker setup. Still the enhancer still can make compressed audio feel alive again. Can I marry this system??? :D

Having had a 10 year-old Yamaha receiver before upgrading to this model, I was very happy with the technological advancements Yamaha made to this unit. I like the Airplay feature and have not yet ventured out on the other options. Set-up was easy-breezy. I installed the AV Receiver app on my iPhone and appreciate the interface.

It does everything it is meant to do with ease, 4K and 3D pass through. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that when you cut it off and then back on it will default back to audio 1, meaning you will have to hit the button on the remote to get it to go to the input you want. But it has been a great receiver so far.

I already own this receiver and I purchase this as a present for my brother and his wife.This is an excellent amp for sound and hdmi pass through and would recommend it to anyone.

Only one minor problem. It does not have an AC outlet, like my old one that I used to power my sub woofer. Now I must turn the sub woofer on and off by hand.

Great product with a lot of features good brand name. Owned an older product of the same brand name i had to upgrade to work with the new TVs.

Bought this receiver to replace the Onkyo which stopped working. Nice crisp performance so far. Will update my review after more experience.

The product works just as described and is a huge improvement over my 10-year old one. Working on the whole house speaker system now.

Overall a good purchase. A little fiddly to setup, and the user interface isn't that great, but once that's done, it works well and sounds good.

Yamaha has a very good reputation for making quality products. However I got one of the few lemons. Took it back to BB and exchanged for a Denon that was on sale. Very happy with the Denon and the service I received from BB. I would still buy a Yamaha AVR but I couldn't pass on the sale price of the Denon X2200.

I needed to update to receiver with more HDMI ports. This receiver meets my needs very well.

After making the investment in my new TV, it was worth the money to upgrade my old receiver.

Very straightforward setup and usage. Full of options and good UI

I loved this receiver at first and for the price it was unbeatable. However after I hooked up my ps4 it started to have minor issues. Sometimes the screen blacks out for like 5-10 seconds randomly in the middle of the game and comes back, at that point it also loses sound. I don't know what the issue is but it's gotten really annoying.
