Very happy with this AVR. Good separation of sound and clarity. I have it paired with Klipsh speakers and SVS sub. I bought this to replace an ONKYO AVR which was good clarity but no low/bottom end. This Yamaha is "exactly" what I wanted to hear and feel.

I'm not impressed. I have owned many Yamaha receivers before. This one is the worst. The phone app is one of the worst i have come across. The control of Zone 2 is poor, both on the screen menu and on the phone app. I do not find the AV output to be an improvement. The remote control requires the user look at a monitor (or the receiver's tiny screen ) to reach the proper input.

Yamaha the best there is. This receiver after setting it up and fine tuning it sounded really good.

Fabulous receiver with all of the features we needed to upgrade our home theater system.

The 4k 120hz update is expected soon. I've owned this receiver for 2 weeks and love it. Highly recommended.

Great sound, I really like the ability to control many inputs with the remote. Plenty of power to push the speakers to their maximum. The setup was a breeze with online instructions. The microphone to monitor the sound, and set the equalizer changed the room to its best

So far I am very happy with this purchase. I bought an open box item, so I saved some money too. The design is appealing and it performs well with my home theater setup that includes B&W Matrix 802 towers for the front left and right channels, a B&W Matrix HTM center channel, and B&W CDM2s as rear left and right surround channels. Tuner works well as does Bluetooth.Have not tried all the 'bells and whistles' yet.

It would have received 5 stars if it came with a decent owner's manual with clear instructions how to operate the receiver. It also called what is normally referred to as an RCA plug to be an audio pin cable a term no one heard of except the Yamaha technician I spoke with.

Quality product sound is excellent easy to install

Solid receiver. Have had it a while now. Not sure it is the best as it is limited on features compared to others in this price range, but Yamaha charges more. Had a Denon but had to change due to hdmi issues. This handles hdmi better, but still not perfect.

Another phenomenal Yamaha receiver! This is the next generation receiver that will hopefully last another 10 years, it has all the latest technology. I could not be happier with this AV amp.
