Very happy with this AVR. Good separation of sound and clarity. I have it paired with Klipsh speakers and SVS sub. I bought this to replace an ONKYO AVR which was good clarity but no low/bottom end. This Yamaha is "exactly" what I wanted to hear and feel.

So far I am very happy with this purchase. I bought an open box item, so I saved some money too. The design is appealing and it performs well with my home theater setup that includes B&W Matrix 802 towers for the front left and right channels, a B&W Matrix HTM center channel, and B&W CDM2s as rear left and right surround channels. Tuner works well as does Bluetooth.Have not tried all the 'bells and whistles' yet.

Great sound, I really like the ability to control many inputs with the remote. Plenty of power to push the speakers to their maximum. The setup was a breeze with online instructions. The microphone to monitor the sound, and set the equalizer changed the room to its best

I'm not impressed. I have owned many Yamaha receivers before. This one is the worst. The phone app is one of the worst i have come across. The control of Zone 2 is poor, both on the screen menu and on the phone app. I do not find the AV output to be an improvement. The remote control requires the user look at a monitor (or the receiver's tiny screen ) to reach the proper input.

The first 2 months were great. Purchased on 10/21, then on 12/21 stopped passing video. So just before the holiday, no holiday tv. Not happy at all. Two months, two whole months!
